10/08/2026: Small restaurant run entirely by an older lady. The food was exquisite, but the portions are slightly smaller than we are used to in the Netherlands. However, it tastes many times better than at home. You do need patience, but you are rewarded. Highly recommended if you want to try a different cuisine while on holiday in Bayeux.

29/08/2026: We had a great time, the food is good, but be warned it's very spicy (though you can choose the level). There's no indoor seating!

04/09/2026: The food here was delicious and the portions were generous. We ate the spring roll basket, nasi goreng and mie goreng - all 10/10. Amazing service, very attentive waiters.

25/08/2026: No idea how this place has a 4.2 rating. The food was absolutely terrible. I had the worst green Thai curry I’ve ever had in my life - completely flavourless, overcooked slop. Totally inedible and clear the cook has never stepped foot in Thailand or tasted a real green curry if that’s what they think a green curry is. Tasted like dishwater so left it. My partner had pad Thai which was also extremely mediocre and didn’t taste fresh. Absolutely dreadful. It was a cute looking cafe with a nice terrace vibe. So a real shame.

05/04/2026: Simply the best sushi. I've tried many places and I've never found sushi that even comes close. It's now become my go-to Friday night spot! To top it all off, the staff is lovely and attentive. I've been coming for years and I always enjoy chatting with them even after I've picked up my sushi. 10/10, I highly recommend it :)

07/09/2026: I've been treating myself to little luxuries at this place for a long time now. Oh, I did try other options: the result? I came back to Mekong. The quality has remained consistently high over time. Here are my 5 stars: quality, flavor, freshness of the products, service, and cleanliness of the premises.

19/09/2026: It's very crowded and noisy, but that's quite common in China's best restaurants. The staff doesn't speak French very well, so it's understandable if you find them a bit abrupt or curt. The food is authentic, and the decor is incredible. I loved eating here; the service was quite fast.

09/08/2026: I was very skeptical trying this place but let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. It was absolutely amazing, packed with flavours and a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

29/06/2026: A small restaurant in a prime location. We visited in the evening, as it was practically right next to our hotel. Some reviews regarding the friendliness of the staff made us quite apprehensive, but none of these concerns were true for us. Very friendly staff, outstanding food, and good value for money. Despite being understaffed (one person in the kitchen, one in the front of house), the food arrived very quickly. The sushi set menu with extra rice, salad, and soup was more than filling and delicious. The sushi and gyoza were average but by no means bad. The bibimbap arrived piping hot in a stone bowl and tasted just as good as it was piping hot. We would have liked to try more Asian beers, but unfortunately, there was only one type available at the time. The only drawback is that a French phone number is required to make online reservations. However, this can be circumvented with a little ingenuity: simply provide the hotel's phone number. In hindsight, though, we wouldn't have needed a reservation at all. The restaurant was busy for over 1.5 hours. While it was well-attended, it was never packed. Overall, the atmosphere was quite relaxed and comfortable. I'd gladly come again.
