14/07/2026: Avoid at all costs! Food poisoning! We ate at this restaurant Sunday evening, and my friend suffered severe food poisoning a few hours after our meal. This is extremely regrettable for a restaurant. We will not be returning and strongly advise caution regarding the freshness of the food.

05/07/2026: The pastries there are quite bad, I don't recommend it at all.

24/06/2026: The pastry fridge was 12.9 degrees Celsius when I bought a pastry. I only noticed it outside when I started eating, and there was a strange, tangy, or lemony taste in my mouth... I'll never go back. I narrowly avoided food poisoning... I even told the lady, but she didn't throw everything out of the fridge... It's scary.

02/08/2026: We ate the Peking duck and it was delicious. The way it's served makes for a perfect culinary experience. I highly recommend it!

28/04/2026: This is an amazing Chinese and Japanese buffet. They even have Szechuan soup and salmon sashimi (plain fish, no rice). I've been to many restaurants like this, but this is the only one that offers it.

11/04/2026: Very disappointed with our meal, which is a real shame because the staff were lovely. The food was really disappointing, with processed ingredients and a wok dish that was poorly cooked. The value for money was terrible, far too expensive considering we were still hungry after our meal and felt unwell a few hours later. Some of the food wasn't even real. For two people with drinks, it was €62. Drinks were €15 for two people. The meal was €47.

17/07/2026: We came on the recommendation of neighbors. We were very disappointed. The quality is questionable, the sushi rice was dry. Admittedly, it was July 14th and a weekday, but we expected much better. Furthermore, we arrived at 9:00 PM, a party of five. By the time our drinks were served at 9:50 PM, we were told the establishment was closing in 10 minutes. At 10:00 PM sharp, the waiter came to us, saying he was closing and that it wasn't a problem if we didn't finish our desserts. I went to the register to pay, and he looked at me, surprised, and asked what I wanted, even though he had just said we had to leave. One thing is for sure... they won't be seeing us again!

06/08/2026: The shrimp were old and reheated. They smelled bad. A complete lack of care. The toilets were a breeding ground for infection. I will never go back.

06/08/2026: My experience at City Wok in Metz was very disappointing. The food seemed stale, and the shrimp had a bad odor. They were rubbery, making them seem unfresh. Furthermore, desserts were often unavailable, and several dishes were out of stock. The serving trays were constantly nearly empty, giving the impression that they were deliberately underfilled, making it difficult to serve oneself properly. The lack of customer service is evident. I am very disappointed with this restaurant and will not be returning.

24/06/2026: Don't order Bo Bun from Uber Eats: The portion was more like a children's meal. I'm 1.50 m tall and weigh 40 kg, and I almost never finish my meals, yet I was still hungry after eating everything. I'd never seen Bo Bun served hot. Bo Bun is supposed to be a fresh dish. The result: the lettuce was soggy from the heat, roughly chopped, there was more salad than noodles, and the sauce was far too sweet. The order was delivered in just 15 minutes, and the dish was still piping hot when it arrived. That's precisely the problem: the fresh ingredients were heated and lost all their flavor. Furthermore, I advise you to keep the sauce separate from the rest of the dish in the future. The sauce was poorly balanced, and since it had already been poured over the entire Bo Bun, it soaked into all the ingredients. It was impossible to adjust the seasoning to my liking, and this significantly detracted from the overall quality of the dish. For €17, I expected a proper bò bún, generous and well-balanced. I am very disappointed with this order. It's the first time I've seen bò bún prepared this way, and unfortunately, it will be the last time I order from you.

18/07/2026: I wrote a review in French where the restait invites you to but they didn’t post it. Used to be really good but these greedy new owners have ruined the restaurant. Disgusting broth in the soupe au ravioli de crevettes that resembled badly made wontons instead stead of har gao. Half the amount of shrimp that tasted as if it was fished from a sewer. A load of cheap industrial thin noodles to make the bowl seem full. We couldn’t even finish. The dining room was empty so I’m not the only one who is never going back. PRISON FOOD IS PROBABLY BETTER. AVOID THIS TERRIBLE JOKE OF A TERRIBLE RESTAURANT THAT USED TO BE DELICIOUS for the French palette.
