16/01/2026: I ate there in the evening with my children. The service was super fast and the food was very good for an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant. I highly recommend it, even on weekdays when it's busy. This tablet system is more reliable and faster.

13/01/2026: This restaurant serves rice with what looks like fish. I was really excited about the all-you-can-eat menu, but it ended up being a struggle to finish everything. Each dish consisted of a slice of salmon and a kilo of rice. I don't recommend it. The restaurant also looked a bit dirty, and the staff wasn't very friendly.

26/01/2026: New owner, new kitchen, and most importantly, new prices! For that price (€17-€24), go to Pacific Gaillard or Saint Julien. (Otherwise, Vénissieux-Lyon if you're willing to make the trip, but it's worth it.) It's an all-you-can-eat buffet, but you only get one regular naan. The people sitting next to us were given a cheese naan without even asking... It's served at random. And it's not even good. I won't be back, and this review is for those who, like me, were thinking, "Let's give it a try." Absolutely not!

06/03/2026: The service has changed slightly since the previous owner; I think the new owners wanted to lower the quality of their products and are now raising it again to please us.

11/01/2026: We've eaten at Bambou many times, both in and out, and it's always a delight. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent, especially when choosing the set menus. Highly recommended!

30/11/2025: Excellent Chinese takeaway: the dishes are flavorful, well-seasoned, and the portions are generous. Even when reheated, the flavors remain intact. The service is quick, the prices reasonable, and the welcome pleasant. A great place for a quick and delicious meal.

15/02/2026: Avoid at all costs: This is the worst all-you-can-eat restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food was cold, dried out, barely cooked, or overcooked. The cocktails were a joke—no flavor or freshness whatsoever, practically warm. I even found a hair in one of their desserts. There was very little choice in appetizers, main courses, and desserts, and they didn't replenish the drinks. Hygiene-wise, the appetizers (sushi, etc.) were placed next to the hot dishes, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. For an all-you-can-eat buffet, regular temperature checks should be done, but I didn't see a single one during the hour I was there. It was incredibly noisy with the music played way too loud, and the payment terminal broke down mid-payment, forcing me to use a bank transfer.

12/03/2026: Le Pékin restaurant in Lille is a wonderful discovery for lovers of traditional Chinese cuisine. The dishes are flavorful, beautifully presented, and prepared with fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the Peking duck and the steamed dumplings, which were bursting with taste. The welcome is warm, and the service remains quick even when the restaurant is busy. A pleasant place to share a delicious Asian meal with friends or family. 🍜

27/02/2026: Read to the end: The sushi is simply excellent. Always very fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. You can taste the attention to detail in both the presentation and the taste. For us, it's clearly the best sushi we've ever had, and we order regularly without ever being disappointed. However, there is one small drawback regarding the hot dishes (woks, skewers, etc.). During a visit with my husband, we glimpsed an employee in the kitchen, through the small curtain near the register, engaging in a rather unhygienic practice. It was quite disturbing. This somewhat put us off ordering the hot dishes. Since then, we continue to order the sushi without hesitation because it's truly excellent, but we prefer to avoid the hot dishes. Nevertheless, it remains a must-visit for sushi lovers.
