Passing through Moutier d’Ahun we saw the restaurant menu What a surprise, quality cuisine with great value for money and above all a magnificent view of the Busseau Viaduct and impeccable service Excellent prawn shortbread with parmesan A treat and the desserts too

30/08/2024: Very clean and nicely decorated restaurant room, however, darkened by curtains. Remarkably clean toilets. Polite but cold staff. I found the shellfish coulis extremely salty, white rice overcooked under the fish. The salmon (red label) was good. Origin not specified. Strawberry bowl in glass with slices of strawberries for decoration around the glass, too much “cream”, lack of fruit. Although subjective, a feeling of “overeating”, the need to drink for hours.

04/09/2024: We had a wonderful meal here in early september having spotted the place on a really long bike ride. We were greeted by the exceptionally friendly juliet who spoke perfect english (and french of course), and she went out of her way to make everything absolutely wonderful, including for our 3 year old. The menu is great, food is delicious (and very reasonably priced) a very nice change to the rest of the area (which always seem to stick to the same three options..) and they also do pizzas twice a week which we will come back for! Cannot recommend this place enough - be sure to visit if you are in the area.

09/09/2024: I hesitated for a long time to give an opinion during our stay last June, so as not to harm the owners. But ultimately, it was the mistake I made, of not having read the previous opinions, confirming the very regrettable observation of a more than questionable state of cleanliness, which made me decide to talk about it, without going into details. Too bad, the table d'hôtes is plentiful and not bad in my opinion... I would like to point out that it was through "Vivabox" and that it would be good to carry out health checks before offering addresses. The customer is fooled by photos that are no longer active! P.S: After the response from the hosts who seemed offended by my comment, I no longer have any regrets about having made it! I'm not in the habit of lying, so when they imply it really bothers me! And having the nerve to tell me that checks are carried out by the boxes... you shouldn't be ashamed! Either way, they have the answer to everything... Attached therefore, photos proving my words, with all due respect to the main stakeholders who would do better to sweep in front of their doors, in both senses of the word! Out of the ten boxes that we had the pleasure of being offered, this is the ONLY one that disappointed us!!!!

14/09/2024: Surfait. A éviter. Il y a beaucoup mieux en Creuse à prix équivalents. Ne mérite pas le label gastronomique. Cher pour une cuisine médiocre. Patron orgueilleux et hautain voire désagréable.

13/09/2024: Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff & a lovely place to eat - a shame it was too cold to sit outside where the views are fantastic. Not cheap but well worth it for the food & experience. I'll definitely be going again.

22/09/2024: Excellent meal, the hardest part was choosing between the ravioli gratins😊 The welcome is warm, the food very good and the setting calming. We will gladly come back

14/08/2024: A very large house, absolutely worth tasting if you pass by. Very fine dishes, well presented. The bosses are very nice. A great memory to repeat soon. I had planned to go back, and well I did on 08/14/24, always the same joy of tasting such fine dishes at a very reasonable price. The servers are very professional and very friendly, a real pleasure as they say today. Go there with your eyes closed, book even though the tables are full. Thank you for delighting our taste buds like this.
