22/02/2026: Beautiful presentation and delicious meal. Reasonable menu for the service.

08/02/2026: The Chic Bistro… Staff shortage… according to the waitress… so… only one set menu available for that reason 🤔🤔🤔 My God, what “cuisine” 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️… - For example, the porcini mushroom risotto was tasteless and straight from the freezer, so their “cuisine” is just assembly and reheating… and a small portion too. - The bread was delicious but defrosted, and why not get it from the bakery in Néris? It seems logical, doesn't it? To support local artisans? - The apple pie: nothing homemade, barely lukewarm, and on a huge gray plate (again! On a gray placemat, etc., etc., etc.) with a semblance of "gastronomic" style 😂😂😂 I almost sent it back because it had no taste, nothing delicious about it… the whipped cream with a wilted mint leaf. What's the mint doing there????? The scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of crushed bits 🤔🤔🤔 and the tiny yellow and red drops, probably coulis, with an indefinable taste because they're nano-drops 🤣🤣🤣 it's supposed to be "gastronomic"…. The bill: €60 for two, so two €24 set menus and two glasses of St. Nicolas de Bourgueil… too cold, not served at room temperature… Conclusion: a very expensive disappointment… and when it's just reheated/assembled food straight from the freezer or industrially vacuum-packed, you should avoid these ridiculous frills 🤣🤣🤣 The atmosphere is too cold, gray everywhere… a shame because the Art Deco style typical of Neris is completely absent, apart from the chandelier, which is probably from another era… The service: one young, energetic person… another person who seemed dejected and, above all, demotivated… a glimpse of the kitchen staff in huge yellow aprons, probably fishing in the freezers 😂😂😂 I went there several times in the summer to sit on the terrace… two years ago… a general decline in quality… and a widespread one… a shame because It's the only restaurant open on Neris so far... we'll definitely not be going back. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

14/03/2026: The service was a bit rushed in the evening; when you're having a meal with friends, it's a bit annoying to have to rush.

09/03/2026: Nice bar/restaurant. Apparently the food is excellent. The owner is a good cook.

06/10/2025: A wonderful time at the Mirage! During a spa stay in Vichy, we had lunch on the terrace of this restaurant located on the banks of the Allier in the middle of the Parc Napoléon III. When we arrived, the terrace seemed full, but there was still a little space available, and we were able to have lunch without a reservation. Umbrellas protected us from the sun, but the restaurant doesn't open when it rains. Surprisingly, the molded plastic seats proved comfortable. The service was efficient; I had an irresistible craving for pizza, and I wasn't disappointed. My partner enjoyed the beef carpaccio. For those who enjoy a game, the establishment also offers mini-golf.

10/10/2025: There are eight of us golfers who travel the golf courses around the 58th. Despite a warm welcome (free coffee and cake), there's no restaurant at lunchtime (we were warned), but someone was there to serve us a beer at the end of our round. We understand: this golf course is managed by passionate volunteers, but they're not available all the time (we understand). A very challenging course from the 6th, and then there are regular blind tee shots. Sometimes it slopes left, sometimes right, and you have to look for your ball. Pleasant, good-quality greens. If this golf course manages to survive like this, we congratulate the volunteers. Good luck!

13/03/2026: Great setting, it's a shame we couldn't eat outside even though the weather was lovely. Otherwise, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. There wasn't enough choice on the menu; they were missing one or two dishes and a chocolate dessert, but it was still good.

06/02/2026: Beautiful decor, very friendly waitress. As for the food...🥰 it's been a long time since I've had such a good pizza. Small lounge with a sofa in front of the wooden bar, motorcycles on display, biker vibe (open to everyone). The restaurant deserves better signage in town. I would have never known Le Studio Pizz existed if I hadn't asked a shopkeeper for directions. Especially since the town seems to see quite a bit of traffic. It would be in the best interest of the local council to promote its businesses. I hope to go back next time I'm in town. You can eat there without hesitation.

14/12/2025: One Sunday evening, we were looking for a pizzeria in Commentry and went to this one. What a MISTAKE! We arrived, and they gave us the choice of eating in or taking away, explaining that if we ate in, the wait would be longer because they were alone in the kitchen. We agreed. The waiter seated us and asked what we wanted to drink without even showing us a menu. We asked for water. Two seconds later, the "chef" (the quotation marks are very important) came out of his kitchen, very aggressive, and I quote: "Ladies, it's Sunday evening, I'm alone, you have to at least play by the rules and order a drink, otherwise you'll have to get it to go." I should point out that there was no one else in the dining room. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I've never heard of such an absurdity! And such a lack of respect for their customers! I don't understand how an establishment with a manager like that is still in business! I hope another pizzeria will open so we can be better received!

19/12/2025: I never got to experience this place. Two online reservations. Two rejections without any explanation. It might be great, but I'll never know, apparently.

24/11/2025: Amazing spot for a weekend outing.

03/01/2026: Very nice historical setting, table for 8. Personally, I had an octopus salad as a starter which was quite good but a little too vinegary, a bavette steak as a main course which was very successful, and a first chocolate mousse with the egg white not whipped enough. They brought me another one with apologies which was very successful.

22/02/2026: When I spend the day in Vichy, I always eat lunch at Laurent's. The food is superb, the quality is great value, and the welcome is always warm. Thank you for yesterday, see you soon!

22/02/2026: A very pleasant hotel that I highly recommend. Extremely helpful staff. Always ready to assist and accommodate our needs (last-minute booking with a child and baby). Spacious bathroom. Breakfast worthy of a luxury hotel! We will gladly return on our next trips.

13/02/2026: I ate at this restaurant, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. The food was very good, the service was quick, and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. In short, if you're in the area and looking for a restaurant, I highly recommend it.

03/03/2026: We were put off by some rather harsh reviews. What a surprise! A brasserie-style restaurant with a friendly manager and excellent food (we had a calzone pizza and a piece of meat). Absolutely no complaints. A remarkable Côtes du Rhône for €18, unbeatable value for money. A real desire to do things right, with a location just opposite the square and the beautiful church. Impressive terrace and dining room. Nothing to criticize. Good food, a friendly atmosphere, a passion for the craft, quality, and incredibly low prices for both the food and the service. Hats off to them, and seriously, don't listen to the naysayers or you risk missing out on an excellent meal!
