01/09/2024: We had a great time. The service is top notch, the wine list is well-stocked and the quality of the food preparation is excellent. However, the quantities are a little small. We came out hungry.

28/08/2024: Very disappointed, starting with the appetizer, so tiny that you can't taste the flavor, and the rest the same, the presentations on the menu were very tempting, but on the plate big disappointment, a few tomatoes on the basil ice cream, it was simply a tomato salad with a small piece of ice cream. As for the brandade, drowned or even non-existent in the mash. And for dessert, a quarter of a peach on yogurt-style cream. All without much flavor. In short, we come out hungry. Not worth the detour....!

08/09/2024: We went for the first time to La Besse and it was Negative It wasn’t a plaisir It was a mistake Ok we had several dishes , fresh ,local but presentation and standing disappeared. Just Simply like an ordinary restaurant. The refinement and know how from Mathieu Mejan weren’t present like savors. For dessert:rice with milk,burnt puffed rice. The waitress was kindly and she is his wife.They were only two persons the boss and his wife. The wine cart is good with good choose and variety. Be CAREFUL they forgot there experience!!!!

15/10/2023: Family-run hotel with a convenient location on the Ardeche. Numerous parking spaces (including charging stations for electric cars) directly at the hotel. There is also storage space for bicycles. Very friendly staff/owner, very clean rooms, enough space for our 2-day stay. Great and modern bathroom. Air conditioning available, unfortunately no refrigerator. Pool directly at the hotel, as well as a restaurant and a bar. The breakfast buffet is extensive and offers something for every taste. We would come back at any time.

30/09/2023: Lieu très bien entretenu. Belle chambre avec terrasse. Salle d eau néanmoins petite pour poser ses propres affaires. Petit déjeuner correct avec pain frais 👍.

28/11/2024: This is the 3rd time I've come in 18 months, it's always perfect. The setting is pleasant, the service perfect even when the chef is alone sometimes during the week, he manages to manage everything and have a pleasant word. The wine is of choice. The delicious dishes, I always take the casserole of ravioli au gratin, they are the best I know. And the trilogy of crème brûlées is a marvel. And reasonable prices.
