05/12/2025: A beautifully renovated old castle, with a wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff, and excellent food! The rooms are very well-maintained.

26/11/2025: We stayed there in November, so unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the outdoor pool, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel: a well-designed (prestige) and very clean room, excellent service with attentive and professional owners, competent staff, and superb food! We always find flaws or shortcomings in the hotels we stay in, but not here!

16/10/2025: Only the homemade white sauce could match the immediate joviality and friendliness of the owner of this club sandwich! A big thank you to you! After testing our bodies on the little queens in the throats... what a pleasure to find such a satisfying sandwich offer!

31/08/2024: We went there on a Saturday lunchtime while we were spending the weekend in the region. In Privas we didn't really find any restaurants that we liked. And fortunately because we made a great discovery here. We feasted our eyes and taste buds from appetizers to dessert. The presentation is neat and the dishes very tasty. So €38 for the inspiration menu (starter/main course/dessert) is reasonable. It's been a long time since we've been this satisfied with a restaurant. the young waiter and the young waitress are friendly. So no false notes. Well done 👍👍👍.

22/10/2025: We were here this Sunday and had a great time! The dishes are well-prepared and the service is attentive. It's a pleasure to eat in a beautiful house like this!

11/12/2025: Had a wonderful time yesterday at Le Bateau d'Emile with my girlfriends. The meal was excellent for each of us, regardless of the menu we chose. I personally opted for the set menu, which was excellent value for money, with delicious flavors and presentation; I thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is pleasant and the atmosphere intimate despite the restaurant being full. The service was impeccable. It was my first time there, but certainly not my last. Thank you, and I look forward to trying other menus soon.

03/12/2025: A very good restaurant right on the banks of the Rhône, the food is quite good and the service is too. Well-prepared dishes at a very reasonable price, served with good, well-chosen local wines.

05/10/2025: High prices for very average meals... more or less pleasant staff... really meh. And the cherry on top: the worst case of food poisoning of my life!

26/08/2024: I was eaten in this charming little restaurant by chance and I was not disappointed! The dishes are homemade and it shows on the plate. The entire service team is smiling, very pleasant and so kind. The terrace dotted with lights immerses us in a wonderful moment of relaxation.

01/12/2024: Welcome with a warm and very professional server. The dishes are excellent and well presented at a reasonable price! The restaurant overlooks a lovely view of the Rhône after the mist has dissipated 😀 We will come back to this

01/12/2024: In a warm setting, a breathtaking view of the Rhône, a friendly space. A friendly welcome! From the aperitif, an appetizer is offered to you with pleasure! Always pay particular attention to presenting you with an original cocktail, alcoholic or not! An almost individualistic service and a precaution to advise you on harmony between your choice of dishes and your drinks! Taking care of each guest!

06/11/2024: Dinner with friends, everything was perfect, the homemade foie gras I recommend😋 for gratins, there is something for everyone. We stuck with a local dessert, with the Ardechoise cut flawless after the lamb shank. I will return to the Don Camillo on my next visit to the Vans. Small restaurant that takes the trouble to be known and good value for money. With very good wine advice. I will come back to my next visit to Les Vans. 🙏🏻

29/08/2024: We had a very good week as a family. The activities offered were very nice. Catherine and her family are very friendly and attentive. And the location allows you to take lots of walks around the Gite. The activities offered daily made it possible to meet people and have great times.
