14/09/2026: We've been returning to the Auberge de Laûre in Montselgues for several years now, and we can't help but fall in love with it! Aurélie, the owner, is genuine and incredibly kind. We feel so comfortable and at home here that we almost wish she'd adopt us! 😊 The food is generous and bursting with flavor. Definitely don't come here on a diet: there's so much love in every dish that you'll be tempted to eat everything! An authentic inn where conviviality, well-being, and generosity reign supreme. An exceptional place we always look forward to returning to. ❤️

13/07/2026: Fantastic weekend with friends at Gîte des Champs d'Aubignas! We received a very warm welcome, the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. A little slice of paradise with breathtaking views of the Cévennes mountains. We'd definitely go back!

09/08/2026: On holiday at Camping Le Chamadou, we had a fantastic meal at the restaurant! The tuna and parmesan risotto was excellent. The pizzas are truly delicious. The seafood evening was great! 23/08/2026: We came to eat this evening with our 14-month-old twins. We had taken the time to call ahead to let them know we had two babies with us. We were eventually told to come between 7:00 and 7:30 pm, without a reservation. Upon arrival, I mentioned that we had called. The waitress replied, in a rather cold and unfriendly tone, "No, I wasn't informed about the babies." We then asked if it would be possible to have two high chairs. We had even brought our own seats to attach to regular chairs if needed. They finally brought us the only high chair available, and then we clearly sensed that having to find a second one seemed to bother them, with comments implying that we were going to "take" a chair meant for other customers. The meal was decent, without being exceptional, but it was mainly the welcome and the staff's attitude that disappointed us. And unfortunately, the worst part was when it came time to pay. The cashier was particularly unpleasant and dismissive. Her attitude and the way she spoke to me were frankly inappropriate. We are fully aware that coming to a restaurant with two young children can require some planning, and in fact, we had taken the trouble to call ahead. We weren't asking for anything special, just a minimum of welcome, respect, and consideration. It's a shame, because with more pleasant staff, the experience could have been completely different.

27/08/2026: I had forgotten about this restaurant where I went once, in a group, a very, very long time ago, and that's a shame! There were three of us, and we ordered the seven-course menu, and everything was perfect. Even those of us with smaller appetites, like myself, weren't impressed because the portions were very reasonable. The waitress/owner was very friendly, which was a nice bonus. Therefore, I will definitely go back with a group next spring. The quality/service/price ratio seems excellent to me.

26/08/2026: The restaurant is decorated with great taste, the service is fast, and the food, from appetizer to dessert, is absolutely delicious. A real treat, it deserves stars. The value for money is unbeatable; the menu could be much more expensive.

We chose to dine outside and it was truly delightful. 🥰 The service was impeccable, warm, and attentive, and above all, the dishes were delicious and bursting with flavor. 😋 A fantastic place that I highly recommend! 👌✨

06/08/2026: I recommend this restaurant. The menus are good. Very reasonable prices. Complete menu with starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. Very friendly waitresses.

30/08/2026: The Caesar salad was so-so, without Parmesan and with very little dressing, which didn't even resemble Caesar dressing. For the other salad, we asked for vinegar, but they didn't have any, and they brought us a dressing that was nothing like vinaigrette. We had to ask for coffee twice. Very average value for money.

26/08/2026: Disgusting. A Caesar salad with wilted lettuce, unbreaded skin-on-the-bone chicken pieces, no Parmesan, no croutons, and questionable dressing. Unbelievable for a salad

22/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience. We happened to be there on the day of the wine pairing dinner. Absolutely brilliant, bravo for this excellent idea: all the dishes served to everyone at the same time, a perfectly paced and expertly executed culinary journey. Kudos for the very reasonable price considering the number of courses (8): €54.00 on the day of our visit, August 21, 2026. Just one small drawback: it would have been perfect if the chef had provided a brief explanation of the wine pairings. And if the servers had a bit more wine knowledge, they could have taught us a little more. Aperitifs and coffee are not included; we ordered and only discovered the price when we went to pay. We should have asked for the menu. The dishes and concept were fantastic, hence 5 stars.

18/08/2026: A very good restaurant with excellent value for money. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh. Special mention for the children's menu, which features a very good butcher's steak and real vegetables instead of the usual frozen nuggets and fries. It's a real treat! I highly recommend it!

09/08/2026: Don't hesitate to step inside this bar/brasserie! I recommend it 200%! A more than affordable set menu with a starter buffet, a main course, and a dessert for only €17.90! And all this without compromising on quality—quite the opposite, in fact… the food is excellent. The grilled meats are cooked over a wood fire. The atmosphere and service are top-notch; you feel right at home!
