29/11/2025: Passing through Tournon, and after being turned away like dirt at St Jo, we stopped for a drink at Bistingo. A sure bet. A very pleasant waitress kindly offered to clear a table that had been set. As always, we received a warm welcome and had a lovely time. Special mention for the service.

18/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant at a friend's birthday party, and it was a delightful surprise. It's safe to say it offers one of the best value-for-money experiences we've had in this corner of the Ardèche. The welcome was impeccable, the food delicious with elegant presentation, and the service efficient and prompt. A restaurant we'll definitely be back to.

07/01/2026: We used Vincendon Catering in Satillieu for our New Year's Eve celebration and we were absolutely delighted. The platters of appetizers were varied and delicious, and the warm duck parmentier verrines were a real treat! We also appreciated the delivery of pastries and bread for New Year's Day: everything was delivered to our door on December 30th and January 1st, with great discretion and perfect punctuality. A huge thank you for the wonderful meal! We hadn't used your services before, but we'll definitely be back next year.

28/02/2026: A superb discovery. A warm welcome and excellent service. Generous portions and carefully selected local produce. You can taste the passion and desire to share in every dish. A highly recommended address. A tip: rice pudding lovers, take note… the best we've ever had.

07/12/2025: The lady accepted us just for a coffee, which is rare, especially since she had a full restaurant. In the end, we ordered two delicious appetizers. Parking is right across the street.

27/08/2025: At the beginning of the summer, I had the chance to go to this restaurant with my family. The owner of the establishment was very friendly and we were able to talk with her at length during our visit. In terms of gastronomy, everything on the menu was tempting. Each dish was made with local products. I personally had the right to a succulent goat cheese and honey salad with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese from a producer near Vals, it was delicious. In summary, I recommend anyone coming to Vals to try this restaurant, it is well worth the detour.

16/11/2025: We always love going here. We always eat the most delicious food and a vegetarian it is by far the most delicious restaurant in Ardeche. Note that the resto is has a meat & fish menu and that at the time of our reservation we ask for vegetarian food for me but it is always TOPNOTCH!

09/10/2025: An excellent discovery! From the appetizers to the dessert, from the beer to the wine, everything was delicious! Seasonal produce, prepared with great flavor! The menu was unique, featuring ingredients you might not normally eat. You have to be daring, but it paid off! We all had a great time! The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the waitress was very pleasant, smiling, and professional. The setting is magnificent! In short, perfect; we're already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

23/01/2026: We had lunch there today and were pleasantly surprised by this inn. The menu was varied and very good, the owner was very kind and attentive to his customers, and the food was excellent. We will definitely return with our children. I highly recommend this place; the dining room is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed. Each dish created by Guillaume and Lucie is meticulously crafted: balanced flavors, perfectly cooked ingredients, and exquisite pairings—everything is designed to evoke emotion on the palate. As a discerning gourmet accustomed to Michelin-starred restaurants, I can say without hesitation that Le Cerisier is every bit their equal. You'll find the same exacting standards, the same mastery, and, in addition, a genuine sincerity in the cuisine. The setting is refined, elegant without being pretentious, and the warm welcome contributes fully to the experience. The wine list is exceptional, perfectly curated to complement each dish. A restaurant for those who appreciate fine cuisine, beautiful wines, and truly special moments.

08/02/2026: The cuisine was refined, but it's a shame the portions were so small! If everything hadn't been served with so much bread, we would still have been hungry... The side dishes were too meager, and the main courses were served sparingly! This is regrettable given the rather high cost of the set menus!
