17/03/2026: This Sunday, March 15th, We had dinner at a traditional restaurant where you immediately feel like you're at your grandparents' house. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with antique tableware and slow-cooked dishes reminiscent of classic French cuisine. Everything was absolutely delicious, prepared with seasonal ingredients and great care. You can really taste the homemade quality. A big thank you to the owner, who cooks alone with tremendous courage, and to the manager, who provides service with humor and good cheer. We had a very convivial time, filled with laughter. My husband, our friends, and I were delighted by this wonderful discovery. We will definitely be back.

It's impossible not to find something to enjoy, whether it's an aperitif or a beautifully presented meal, in a cozy setting where time seems to stand still in the gentle atmosphere created by the radiant owner, Karine Arnaud, and her team. As for the dynamic chef, Eric Arnaud, he delights us with his magnificent dishes, each with its own elegant presentation and flavors that transport us back to a time when people took the time to create rich, flavorful sauces, not to mention the expertly crafted sauces that whisk us away to a paradise of fine food and the good life. It's thanks to them that life sparkles in Place Ducale. A must-try!

11/03/2026: I really liked this lovely place. Parking is easy, which is a plus. The dining room is attractive, and the owner is welcoming. Unfortunately, the meal didn't live up to the setting. The dishes were beautifully presented, but the flavors were lacking. I didn't taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients. I ordered a set menu, and from the appetizer to the dessert, I didn't enjoy my meal at all. The setting is beautiful, hence the four stars, but this isn't reflected in the food. Since it's not possible to rate the restaurant itself, I'll simply rate the place, which is still quite pleasant.

21/02/2026: We would need three pages to express how we felt about this superb evening spent at La Gourmandière... the welcome, the service, the flavors, the sommelier's guidance in finding the perfect pairings... simply SUBLIME. While perfection may not (in theory) exist, I've never been so close to it.

03/03/2026: First time at this restaurant. We came on a whim after hearing positive reviews through word of mouth. And what a surprise! An excellent restaurant. We had the lunch menu, a dessert, and wine. The staff was very professional, competent, and pleasant. There was a small mistake with my wife's gourmet coffee, which was quickly corrected by the waitress without us even needing to mention the error. The plate was generous, pleasing to both the eye and the palate. We'll be back. Moreover, the prices are reasonable.

The set menu of starter, main course, and dessert, served all at once on a tray, is always excellent; the ingredients are good and high quality. For under €20, it's more than reasonable. The service is efficient and the staff very friendly. It's always a pleasure to come here!

15/02/2026: The welcome was perfect, all the staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was beautiful, very clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The meals offered were very good. The breakfast was very complete, with sweet and savory options, fruit, and more. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay at the Auberge de l'Abbaye de Signe.
