30/01/2026: Good restaurant, but having seen the menu update today (January 30, 2026), I sincerely hope that the Bavarian cream with Chaource cheese doesn't disappear, not today, not ever. Otherwise, I will launch a complete boycott of your restaurant. A word to the wise. These are not threats, but facts, hence the missing star on this post.

07/03/2026: Excellent food and pleasant service. I would definitely go back. There was a large table that was quite noisy, but unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't responsible for that. Otherwise, the setting is peaceful and the decor is tasteful.

17/02/2026: Pleasantly surprised, I'll gladly return. I did so for Valentine's Day and I didn't regret it at all; it was perfect and a very good set menu at €42.50 from starter to dessert, excluding drinks. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious, as was the service. Plus, they've renovated the restaurant.

13/03/2026: Lunch in an iconic Troyes location. What a lovely name for a brasserie (La Paix)! It's so nice to hear the word "peace" right now. A typical spot to celebrate my friend's 57th birthday. After a glass of Champagne from the Aube region, followed by sole meunière for one of us, and half a rib of beef for the other with lightly caramelized sautéed potatoes, and finishing with apple tart and homemade flan, not forgetting the coffees, life is simple: friendship, good food, good wine, in a beautiful setting, with a warm welcome—life is good.

13/03/2026: A typical Parisian brasserie. Very good quality food at a very reasonable price. The waiter and waitress were very pleasant. We left very pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely be back!

I eat there daily because I love flavorful and wholesome food. The interplay of flavors they offer draws me back each time to discover a new flavor combination on my plate. I highly recommend it if you're traveling or local. I really appreciate this restaurant and highly recommend it. If you're looking to refine your palate, you've come to the right place.

06/02/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful three-course lunch here today and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and quietly special. We asked if it might be possible to have different wines with each course, and rather than a simple yes, we were taken on a genuinely beautiful journey through white wines, each one thoughtfully chosen and perfectly suited to the food. It felt personal, unrushed, and full of care — the kind of experience that stays with you long after the last glass. The food itself was excellent, beautifully prepared and balanced, making the entire lunch feel like a real occasion without ever being pretentious. To top it all off, after realising we’d walked much further than planned from the neighbouring village (and perhaps enjoyed the wine a little too much!), the owner very kindly offered to drive us home once the restaurant had closed. That level of generosity and warmth says everything about the place. A truly lovely atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, and an experience we’ll remember fondly. We would return in a heartbeat.

16/03/2026: Stale bread, inedible andouillette, +€70 for 2 people, for a Nutella crepe a tiny spoonful of Nutella, really outrageous, I do not recommend it at all.
