31/10/2025: We've been to this restaurant several times. We've tried the takeaway burgers offered on Thursday evenings, as well as the lunch menus served on-site on Saturdays. Each time, we haven't been disappointed. The burgers are delicious, made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. The same goes for the dishes offered on other days.
I particularly appreciated the presentation of the plates and the originality of the recipes. The chef is attentive, as is the waitress. We'll definitely be back!

10/05/2026: A great place to have dinner on a weekend or weeknight. The food is excellent, as is the service. Special mention goes to Enzo, who even came to greet us at the end of our meal – a very thoughtful touch that will leave us with a very positive impression of the restaurant.

03/05/2026: This was my first time eating at this establishment. The queue was manageable, and we moved quickly with our trays in hand. The service was fast and courteous. The main course I ordered (chicken and fries) was generous and tasty. There's a vegan option available. You can serve yourself a starter and dessert if you're very hungry. Near the exit to the outdoor covered area, there's a spot to get a coffee or something else. It was easy to find a seat. My only slight complaint is the noise level when it's busy. It's like being in a high school cafeteria XD. That didn't stop me from enjoying my meal, though.
21/04/2026: Very disappointing. The school cafeteria food used to be tastier; the dishes were cold, and the service was awful.

18/05/2026: A truly lovely hotel, ideally located between the charming old town of Troyes and the region's lakes. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly. A full breakfast is included.
The restaurant is also a very pleasant surprise: a deliberately concise menu featuring regional specialties, offering something for everyone, refined cuisine, delicious desserts, and very reasonable prices.
Special mention goes to the managers who were incredibly accommodating and kind: we had car trouble on a Sunday, and despite a busy day for them due to the village market, they arranged for us to stay an extra night and have dinner at the hotel.

18/05/2026: A delicious plat du jour. A three-course menu for 20.50 euros. Baguette and water included. The service is friendly and your food is served quickly. Only a large glass of beer was quite on the pricey side, namely 9.50 for a Leffe Blond.

28/06/2026: A lovely summer evening at La Barge.
We ate at La Barge tonight and had duck breast, cheeseburgers, and the local Troyes sausage. The food was very good, and the service was excellent from start to finish. They also kindly made a specially adapted burger for our autistic daughter, which we really appreciated.
The atmosphere was especially cozy. We sat outside by the beautiful water with fountains, slightly away from the busiest part of the city center, which made it feel calmer and more relaxed. It was a warm summer evening, and many people were sitting along the water enjoying the evening.
A very charming and enjoyable place to eat in Troyes. We would gladly come back.
