25/09/2024: Very ordinary kitchen. I had the menu with a salad with poultry beforehand. The parmesan cheese is in squares and unfortunately comes straight from the supermarket. Doing your own scraping would make a big difference. As a main course I had a house crepe. Nothing special. Just correct. My dessert was a crepe with caramel beurre salé. I found the pancake quite dry. It seems to me to be pre-made and just warmed up. Especially considering the very fast service. But no complaints about that. Very friendly, correct and fast service. The interior is also very ordinary. Light colors, little atmosphere.

13/12/2024: Lors de notre visite au restaurant L'Illustré, nous avons été séduits par les avis positifs et les photos de la magnifique cave voûtée. À notre arrivée, Zac, un jeune homme à l'accueil professionnel et sympathique, s'occupait du bar en bas. Malgré son jeune âge, il a fait preuve d'un professionnalisme remarquable, qui est un véritable atout pour ce lieu. Il nous a raconté l'histoire du site et vanté ses mérites avec passion. Nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir découvert cette partie du bar avant notre réservation, car les cocktails, à seulement 6,50 €, étaient clairement abordables et semblaient irrésistibles. Ensuite, nous sommes montés pour déguster notre repas, qui était de grande qualité, avec un service impeccable à des prix tout aussi raisonnables. Notre expérience à L'Illustré fut plaisante du début à la fin. C'est, sans conteste, un endroit à ne pas manquer lors d'un passage à Troyes. L'accueil chaleureux, le professionnalisme de Zac, la qualité des plats, et l'ambiance unique en font une adresse à recommander.

01/12/2024: Heureusement que ce très beau lieu est là pour relever le niveau de l'accueil et du service, 60 minutes avant la prise de commande, 35 minutes avant l'arrivée de nos boissons , Champagne mal servi ,une planche de jambon fumé hors de prix ,pas assez de quantité pour tous ,alors que la table d à côté à eut droit à du robe suite à leur réclamation, nous le serveur nous a rit au nez . Le pain qui devait accompagner le jambon n'est jamais arrivé.....une honte !!! pour un tel établissement..

03/11/2024: Ended up here spontaneously when we were driving through looking for a place to pass the night. Owner was very friendly and complaisant. Out of season, plus we arrived late, unfortunately the kitchen was closed. But he showed us the way to a very nice local restaurant where they serve traditional French cuisine. Rooms are cosy and clean. The only remark there is to make, is about the bathrooms, they're a bit outdated.
