22/07/2025: A particularly pleasant stopover in Murols thanks to the welcome we received at the brand new gîte (excellent bedding, every comfort) and the welcome we received at the inn, where the food is delicious. Both establishments belong to a charming couple who don't skimp on quality or quantity. At breakfast, we continued the already rich exchanges we had the day before and left... Rejoicing that we'll be back soon!!! Thank you so much!!

12/11/2025: I want to clarify that I very rarely leave bad reviews, but after my experience, it's essential. The star is for the charming village. A table was reserved for three people on Monday, November 10, 2025. When ordering, I asked the waiter (the owner's son) about the menu. After choosing an appetizer because none of the main courses appealed to me, I told him I would have dessert, but not chocolate mousse, because a few years ago the one I was served was tasteless (grainy and unpleasant). Of course, it was inedible. So I suggested to the waiter that the chocolate mousse was probably made with powder. The poor waiter went from white to bright red and called the owner (his mother) over. The owner then arrived, launched into a hysterical monologue, and asked me to leave her restaurant. So that the two other people with me could have lunch, I decided to leave the restaurant. Ultimately, the waiter refused to take their order. My parents and I have known this restaurant for a very long time. In my grandfather's and father's day, it was a renowned establishment. The son also cooked very respectably. But the service now is appalling! Even the appetizers are stale... I can only advise the owner and her son to find another line of work. Their frustration is evident on their faces, and their behavior is completely unacceptable. Finally, they shouldn't forget that it's the customers who keep them in business... Above all, if you choose this place for lunch, don't say anything that might upset the staff. A word to the wise!

11/11/2025: Excellent home-style cooking with flavorful and generous portions. The son gave us a very warm welcome despite arriving 15 minutes before closing time. Don't hesitate to try it if you're visiting this lovely village.

29/11/2025: We had lunch at this brasserie, a very nice discovery, I highly recommend it. The tartare was very fresh and generous, and the kir was perfectly chilled and sparkling. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

02/09/2025: In the middle of nowhere - therefore this is for you if you're looking for a quiet place where you don't have cellphone service but can see the stars so nicely at night and if you don't mind driving on a dirt road for a long time. Our room was okay, a bit small for four people, but the shower was great (good temperature and water pressure). Breakfast was okay.

12/03/2026: In the heart of a charming little village, a restaurant with two chefs at the helm and a discreet yet very friendly waiter (not forgetting the large, four-legged gentleman who's part of the family). The dishes are so delicious you'll want to dig in and leave your plate spotless. Come visit this little village; a stop at "Les Coquelicots" is a must.

28/12/2025: We had a wonderful time on the lovely terrace and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Perfect 👍 excellent value for money. We will definitely stop by again on our next trip to this beautiful region. It's a shame the restaurant was closed on December 28th, 2025.
