30/08/2024: Bar with a very nice terrace, we just had a drink. The waitress who took care of us was friendly and efficient.

19/08/2024: Only time in my life where I left without having ordered anything. We take tourists for idiots. We had reservations for 3. We had the worst table on the terrace. A table for 2, sloping. No room for anything other than the dish, anyway we tell you not to put the phone on the table otherwise it will fall. We asked to change tables because being treated like that is unacceptable. We were treated to a lesson in politeness from the waiter. Tourist trap to avoid. I add this following the restaurant's comment: I had reserved the same morning, the terrace was not a third full and the other free tables were much more usable than the one offered to us. And that still doesn't excuse your server's condescending behavior.

08/09/2024: PERFECT: the welcome was extremely kind (especially thanks to Fatya), the rooms comfortable and clean, the well-equipped spa, the ideal location, the magnificent view and the succulent and varied breakfast. A very successful surprise, a big thank you!

08/09/2024: We spontaneously decided to travel to Strasbourg for two days and booked an executive room at the Hotel Pavillon Règent Petit France. Our dog was also very welcome! Our room was very nice (soundproof) and modernly furnished. A big thank you also to housekeeping! A great hotel with valet parking! The whole hotel team is so friendly and helpful, you just have to feel comfortable! We had dinner on the terrace in the evening! So delicious, even the greeting from the kitchen was the best thing ever! For the starter we chose vitello and squid and then the veal fillet! A dream! Accompanied by a bottle of Alexe - Corton how pleasant! Fine friandise was then served with the espresso. Next door is the bartender who serves the best cocktails! What more could you want! Unfortunately, there is still a small drawback! You run out of bread very quickly at breakfast! You have to wait longer for it! Such a shame!! Everything was so great and then....as the saying goes, the last impression a guest takes away from the hotel is the breakfast...afterwards he leaves! But the congierge made it up to us when he brought our car and provided us with bottles of water (also for the dog) for the journey home! Many thanks to the entire Pavillon Règent team! We felt very welcome and comfortable!!

08/09/2024: I ate alone, my table was not cleaned. Average reception therefore, and obviously 9 p.m. is the limit to be served on a Saturday... it was tarte flambée or nothing. When it comes to cooking, there's an unpleasant feeling that nothing is homemade, or at best straight out of the freezer. A forest tart flambée and an iced kouglof, nothing extraordinary though and typical, it's a bit of a tourist trap in the emblematic place of Little France not far from the covered bridge, too bad. This famous tarte flambée, a super simple and inexpensive dish, offered between 10 and 13 euros, at this price it is exceptional or it is not serious.

31/08/2024: During our short trip to Strasbourg we ate at La petite venise. The experience was rather disappointing, the staff was inattentive and the tarte flambée was edible but I would have managed it at least as well myself. Unfortunately, the dishes were also not clean and had to be replaced first. We wouldn't recommend it.

01/09/2024: Modern, innovative cuisine prepared with fresh seasonal products. We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish, with a wine recommended by the sommelier who was friendly and warm. The setting is really cozy, the terrace is very pleasant. The value for money on the dishes is there (even if the house cocktail remains very expensive compared to the work). However, the service could be reviewed between a young waitress who does not pay attention to the customers and clears up before the end and another with whom the contact is cold and makes the customer feel her mood.

21/09/2024: We had reserved a table on a Saturday evening, we still had not received our dishes 1h15 after ordering (in exaggeration). We had ordered a drink but we weren't even served drinks for 1 hour 15 minutes. Some customers who arrived after us were served before. No one came to see us to explain the situation. We ended up leaving after 1:20, without the waiters even noticing. Too bad, we won't come back again.

20/09/2024: Very professional welcome. The cheese platter offered to me was delicious. Perhaps a little salad was missing to freshen things up. I let myself be guided about the wine and it was good advice.

02/07/2024: Très bonne cuisine maison, ils sont arrangeants car nous avions une personne végan avec nous, et ils se sont arrangés pour qu’un des plats convienne. L’emplacement est agréable et le jeune homme qui sert est sympathique.

21/09/2024: Last night when we were in Strasbourg we spontaneously stopped by and got a table for three people (2 adults and a child). What can you say: exactly the right choice! A beautifully decorated "Winstub" in the middle of Strasbourg with a small, fine menu that reflects the region very well. We had snails and veal head as an entrée, followed by zander on Riesling cabbage and beef fillet on chanterelles. The cheese variations were finally the final point. All courses were top: cooked to perfection and very excellent. The children's menu for the little ones also left nothing to be desired. If the food already made you happy, this was further increased by the very harmoniously put together wine list, which, in addition to the "big names", also includes other wineries that were previously unknown to the author. Browsing was fun and the bottle we selected was even more fun :-). Friendly and attentive service made the visit a wonderful evening. A big thank you to the whole team for this lovely evening.

16/09/2024: Fantastic traditional Alsatian food - do yourself a favour when you’re in Strasbourg and come to this restaurant which is just a hop and a skip away from the touristy places, but miles away from the fare served there - here you get top quality traditional dishes served expertly in a beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience. We’ll certainly be back!

16/09/2024: Excellent restaurant to try all kinds of Flammkuchen typical of the area. There are two types of menu: the first for €13.9 in which you can order a restricted number of flams, or the "Hopla" menu for €18.9 which is to try the entire menu with a starter or dessert. We ordered the €13.9 menu and it is more than enough since it has a good number of varieties to try. You can order as many times as you want, but everyone at the table must order the same type of menu. To drink, we ask for bottled water which is free (typical in France). The service from the waiters is great, fast and polite.

15/09/2024: Slightly older house but clean. Located close to the cathedral. Very good tarte flambée in different variations. Friendly staff, you should be able to speak English. All you can eat is also available.

02/10/2024: Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im tollen Gewölbekeller. Das Personal war sehr freundlich & kompetent. Es gibt auch Speisekarten in deutscher Sprache. Wir haben das Menue Alsace bestellt und alle Gänge waren sehr köstlich. Es gab auch keine zu lange Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen, trotz vollem Restaurant. Auch Preis-Leistung fanden wir absolut angemessen. Wir können den Gurtlerhoft nur empfehlen und kommen beim nächsten Besuch in Strasbourg gerne wieder. Ich empfehle vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht ist.

30/09/2024: 8 friends for dinner. Excellent selection of food and fantastic service. The setting is also very nice with cellar style ceilings. Would definitely recommend.
