01/04/2026: Unfortunately, much worse than expected. The table we had reserved in person wasn't available. We were given a different table, but it was too small for our group.
The food didn't meet our expectations. Duck with sauerkraut, chicken with mushroom sauce, steak with vegetables... everything was bland or barely seasoned. The vegetables consisted of one small piece of zucchini and one small piece of carrot. The waiters were bored and rather unfriendly. Not recommended; we wouldn't go back.

18/03/2026: I rediscovered this restaurant during a dinner with friends on a Friday evening. We had reserved a table for 8:30 pm but arrived early, at 8:00 pm. This wasn't a problem at all, and a table was quickly set for us.
The restaurant offers tarte flambée, a varied menu, and daily specials at very attractive prices, including a weekly set menu available for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Friday. I opted for the set menu (main course + dessert) and thoroughly enjoyed it for a very reasonable price. The photo shows the dessert: a poached pear in white wine, Belle Hélène style—delicious!
My friends also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend it.

11/04/2026: Delicious and generous cuisine in an authentic Winstub setting. A hearty starter of cervelas and Gruyère cheese, excellent sauerkraut, and a ham hock cooked in a terrine with melted Munster cheese. Friendly service. The restroom decor is a fun curiosity.

06/04/2026: The food was okay overall. We ordered the children's menu twice, both times with sausages (unfortunately rather tasteless) and fries 🍟, plus an ice cream.
We also ordered a cheese tart, which was alright.
The veal schnitzel with fries wasn't bad either.
The waiters were quite stressed, as there were only two of them to do everything. Despite this, they tried their best to remain helpful and friendly.
Overall, we found the prices rather high for what you get.

15/04/2026: Oh, I discovered this wonderful bakery-pastry shop by chance three weeks ago. I was drawn in by its delicious window display. I was won over by the quality and taste! I have already visited it three times and will go as often as my journey takes me. Everything I have tried is delicious. Chocolates, croissants, Arabic pies, burgers, tarts! And most importantly of all the very kind, helpful and smiling staff. Really welcoming and they speak English. Well done!

30/03/2026: I had a lovely experience at this restaurant in Strasbourg. The service was very friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere.
The onion tart was delicious, perfectly baked with great flavor. The sausage selection was also excellent—hearty, flavorful, and very satisfying.
The 50% discount through The Fork made it absolutely worth it and great value for money. I would definitely recommend it!

Then comes the moment you've all been waiting for: the tasting fest 😍
