20/01/2025: In my humble opinion, it seems that Yvonne left the barracks a long time ago. Aside from the bread, which was okay, the snail starter was a disappointment. As for the rooster, it looked more like a small chicken, with frail, not very juicy and thin legs, accompanied by soft and characterless spätzle. The dessert was unable to save the experience: a rum baba which looked more like a muffin drowned in average quality rum. Industrial meringue buried under layers of cream with a scoop of ordinary vanilla ice cream for 12 euros. Frankly, I struggle to understand how this restaurant is still in the guide. He gave me the impression of a tourist trap who, once upon a time, undoubtedly enjoyed a certain reputation. Furthermore, seeing several empty tables on a Friday evening is hardly reassuring and confirms my impressions. And 120-125 euros for two people! and as we are stupidly polite we left a 7 euro tip to rub salt in the wound.

24/09/2024: When you have to smile instead of the boss. When the pan-fried foie gras is overcooked. Too bad because the smile of the waitress makes up for it. But hey… a very small, easily achievable improvement to make it a good house.

11/12/2025: What can I say...sometimes when a restaurant disappoints us, we still find something positive, but this time...we found no equal in mediocrity (4 different starters and 4 different main courses), all equally bland and cold. I won't even dwell on the service...do you feel any satisfaction in your work, or is the only satisfaction the one of filling the cash register?

11/12/2025: We always have a pleasant evening at this restaurant. Sylvia serves us with professionalism and kindness. The only downside: no Diet Coke. The Alsatian Cola is just a mediocre substitute!

16/12/2024: Great time spent in this very warm restaurant, everything you need when you have spent the evening in the cold. The boss managed to advance my reservation even though the restaurant was full, he did his best and with a smile. The server from the north, he will recognize himself, gave us a very good time. Thanks to the team. We will come back to see you next year.

16/12/2024: It’s ok but a bit exaggerated. In Christmas period it is impossibile to make a reservation for one month as it is fully booked. Setting is nice, food nothing exceptional. Not a big loss if you can’t make it.

13/09/2024: The cocktails are super good and the waitresses are very friendly, but the dishes are not at all satisfactory for their price. My "falafel salad" at 12€ was more than light with its 5 falafels (overcooked and above all, very very dry) and raw vegetables composed mainly of vinegared salad leaves...(A few pieces of cucumber/tomatoes only) . The sauce is very good though. It's really limited for a "dish"... The people who had a burger seemed satisfied, but the one who had the potato pancakes had the same inconvenience as me.

12/12/2024: We went there by chance during our stay in Strasbourg... Simple but generous cuisine, the pizzas are very good and well stocked... The service is fast and the waiter very polite. In short, we ate there almost every evening...

10/09/2024: my husband's pizza was excellent, on the other hand, my dish of the day Luiguini with flambéed scampi and pesto, rather mediocre: the pasta a little dry and no scampi (langoustines), but 1 flambéed prawn in addition to the shrimp and I had looked for pesto. The following customers did have langoustines!!!!!I had leftovers from the day before?
