24/05/2026: Positive point: A restaurant with a traditional setting, located in the heart of the forest. We received a warm welcome from the waitress. We ordered three cocktails, which were good, but rather expensive (€9-10)..... The tarte flambée was really good, but €11.50 is far too much. Negative point: Unfortunately, with all due respect, the salad was a disaster. It wasn't a culinary catastrophe, but €18? With 80% salad, five tiny pieces of salmon, a bit of citrus fruit, and asparagus straight from a jar... The salad wasn't fresh at all; I couldn't taste any freshness. It was lukewarm, even though it was 30°C outside. The "gourmet salad" came with tiny shrimp that you'd find in a supermarket, and Serrano ham that wasn't really Serrano ham. The cocktail sauce had no homemade taste whatsoever. Besides, we asked for bread, three small slices, which isn't much, so we asked for more, then two? There are three of us... Not two. Bread isn't the most expensive thing. Frankly, we were disappointed, even with that. We left, only half full, very disappointed.

19/05/2026: We celebrated our wedding on Saturday, May 16th at this superb restaurant, and we will cherish the unforgettable memories. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted by the delicious homemade savory appetizers offered by the establishment. The meal was exceptional, worthy of a fine dining experience: from the appetizer to the dessert, everything was homemade with meticulous care and exquisite taste. The vacherin, served with homemade ice cream, was incredible, and the wedding cakes were as beautiful as they were delicious. A huge congratulations to the pastry chef for her remarkable work! 😍 The entire team was impeccably kind and professional. The service was seamless, with no waiting between courses, and we were able to enjoy our day without ever feeling rushed to leave. Furthermore, the value for money was excellent! No one was disappointed. The entire team went out of their way to make the guests feel pampered. Thanks to them, this day was even more beautiful and successful. If you're looking for a place to celebrate an important event, go for it without hesitation: you can trust them completely 🥰

20/05/2026: Some hotels are simply a place to sleep. Régent Petite France feels like you’re actually staying inside the postcard of Strasbourg. The location is unbelievable. You walk out the door and you are immediately in the middle of everything that makes Petite France so special — canals, bridges, flowers hanging from windows, people sitting outside with wine, little streets that somehow look even better at night than they do during the day. Honestly, half the time we just stood outside the hotel looking around thinking, “this can’t be real.” Our room was incredible with a view that made it hard to leave in the morning. Watching the boats pass through the canals while the city slowly woke up was one of those travel moments you remember long after the trip is over. The staff could not have been more helpful. Every interaction felt genuine and relaxed, never forced or overly formal. They helped with recommendations, directions, questions — anything we needed. You could tell they truly cared that guests enjoyed Strasbourg. The entire hotel somehow feels luxurious without being stuffy. Comfortable, elegant, quiet, and perfectly placed in the center of it all. Only very minor thing — the shower setup could be a little more accessible depending on mobility or preference — but honestly, it barely registered compared to how much we loved staying here. If you’re visiting Strasbourg and want to fully experience Petite France instead of just walking through it for an hour, stay here. We already miss waking up there.

17/05/2026: A magnificent hotel where I stay every time I'm in Strasbourg. Very well located. The concierge and valet parking staff are exceptional. The reception is very average and incapable of maintaining a customer database. In short, a major drawback. The hotel lobby is freezing cold (20 degrees Celsius) and the bathrooms, even with the thermostat turned all the way up, are like refrigerators. Plus, there are no slippers to warm you up, only flip-flops that hurt your feet. So don't come in winter, or bring your own slippers and a kettle. The spa is very professional, and the massages are excellent. The restaurant is always closed, every single time I've been there.

26/05/2026: Discovered during a nearby exhibition. A true neighborhood restaurant, with a very decent daily menu at reasonable prices. A pleasant, friendly atmosphere.

11/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! The setting is truly magnificent, warm, and very pleasant, perfect for a lovely time. The food is delicious, with beautifully presented dishes bursting with flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with each plate. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the quality of the meal and the ambiance. Special mention also goes to the service: the team is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and very professional. A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

14/05/2026: The best Yule log I've ever tasted, with incredible and perfectly balanced flavor combinations. I even came specifically on the day itself to snag another one, despite their limited availability, because they were so exceptional. Each bite was a true discovery, with original yet perfectly balanced flavor pairings. Clearly, this is a place that lives up to its reputation during the holidays.

15/04/2026: Oh, I discovered this wonderful bakery-pastry shop by chance three weeks ago. I was drawn in by its delicious window display. I was won over by the quality and taste! I have already visited it three times and will go as often as my journey takes me. Everything I have tried is delicious. Chocolates, croissants, Arabic pies, burgers, tarts! And most importantly of all the very kind, helpful and smiling staff. Really welcoming and they speak English. Well done!

10/05/2026: A romantic evening with a wonderfully warm welcome from the attentive owner! A British atmosphere, great humor, delicious and generous fusion cuisine, and some great wine discoveries too! The only downside was no Pimm's because they weren't yet in season, which was actually a good sign! We'll be back!

27/05/2026: It was Sunday 9 pm when we entered this “restaurant” to have few glasses of wine & beer. But we were refused because they do not serve drinks, only if you take a meal. The restaurant was almost empty! What a nonsense!

20/05/2026: - Food was okay, edible. - Service was very good. - The ambiance was great, but the tables could have used more space between them. It felt like you were sitting right next to other guests at the same table.

03/06/2026: Was a day of heavy rain showers ...so I popped in ...I asked for fish and chips ...no fish and chips ...awwwe I had chicken tenders ..water and a coffee ...18 Euro...I thought it was great value . Waiter has a specific charm ...he could be part of a comedy act ... Brightened up my day ..

19/05/2026: Amazing authentic restaurant, in the middle of Strasbourg. The building holds some important history back to 1861. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the hotch poth dish, which was a mixture of meats marinated for sometime and cooked very slowly, with some vegetables, spices and covered with potatoes which melted in your mouth. The service was quick and very friendly. Thank you ❤️

13/03/2026: Sorry, I had justified my rating, but the text didn't appear. Here it is: we chose your restaurant for its ambiance. However, the baeckeoffe served was very dry. The potatoes were mushy (except for the one on top, which was burnt) and dry, as was the meat; there wasn't a single drop of juice.

03/05/2026: I love this place! I've been four times already. Every time I go to Strasbourg, I eat here. It's very peaceful and not touristy. The food is typical of Alsace. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had, and the desserts are delicious.
