16/05/2026: I'd been wanting to try the cake for ages, like ages, but every time I went there it was sold out. But I hadn't given up hope 😂 And this time I was lucky enough to taste it, and I don't regret the wait at all 😅 It's absolutely delicious. A bit pricey for a cake, but you're mostly buying the name, and the flavors were definitely there.

14/08/2026: A very good restaurant with excellent products, including superb cheese and charcuterie. A unique feature: they source everything from their shop across the street, "Grand Cru." I recommend it; good value for money. Reservations are recommended. One small drawback: the wait.

14/08/2026: We had a delicious cheese fondue with ham, salad, and more. They also gave us a great wine recommendation. Unfortunately, as seems to be the case everywhere in Strasbourg, the wine wasn't chilled enough. The waiter was working alone and later had to cope with a large number of guests. But still, highly recommended!

18/06/2026: Very good French cuisine, especially the Foie Gras de Canard. Very little cozy restaurant with a very friendly owner. Highly recommended except that don't rely totally on Google map The restaurant is located in a small lane with a not so obvious sign.

21/07/2026: Excellent service, and the ice cream sundaes are as generous as they are spectacular! We enjoyed a superb gourmet break at this ice cream parlor, which offers artisanal ice cream and homemade whipped cream, and is every bit as good as its competitors on the French Riviera! You can go there without hesitation!

08/08/2026: Yesterday, the three of us were there, and all the dishes were very good to excellent! The Filet Rossini was perfect, with a highly concentrated, authentic jus sauce, delicate foie gras, and delicious fries. The crème brûlée was one of the best I've ever had, with a perfectly balanced jam base whose acidity helped to counteract the sweetness. The Irish coffee was perfect, and the service was impeccable. A real highlight and excellent value for money. Thank you so much!

30/07/2026: We wanted to get a drink during a bike ride and were turned away, as they claimed only served food. The place wasn't full, and we might have ordered a snack as well. Very disappointing, very arrogant and unfriendly. They probably don't need the business. We can't comment on the food.

16/07/2026: For us Alsatians, it was the "Fuchs am Buckel" of the 1960s, an institution. We went there to try their tarte flambée with a large mixed salad: excellent. If you're looking for a romantic atmosphere on the terrace, this is the place. The garden overlooking the Ill River is beautifully landscaped, and the staff is friendly. Two points to note, however: a limited selection of beers and a somewhat outdated website. We'll definitely go back to try other dishes.

30/07/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! The portions are generous and the dishes are absolutely delicious. It evokes the authentic taste of yesteryear, like the comforting home-cooked meals our grandmothers used to make, prepared with high-quality ingredients. The welcome is warm and the decor, typically Alsatian, is magnificent and full of charm. The prices are perfectly in line with the quality and generosity of the portions. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

27/07/2026: A charming, old-fashioned restaurant in the historic Neudorf district. The building has a real history. The interior retains its original character, and there's a small outdoor terrace shielded from the sidewalk by a partition. It has a bit of an old-fashioned neighborhood bistro feel. They serve tarte flambée as well as about ten other dishes. The waitress, who is also the owner, is a bit direct but still friendly. Since I was dining alone, she offered me half tarte flambée, allowing me to try two. Both the traditional and the garlic and chive versions were excellent. The Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) was also good. Prices are more than reasonable. An excellent spot in Neudorf for tarte flambée.
