06/08/2026: Our experience at Champ des Vignes capped off a week-long holiday in the Cantal region, where we enjoyed a variety of culinary experiences. We stumbled upon it quite by chance, arriving late, and were absolutely blown away by what this restaurant has to offer: delicate cuisine with thoughtfully crafted flavors, combined with passionate service and precise, helpful advice. This last point is very rare and deserves to be highlighted! The icing on the cake: a well-chosen playlist accompanied this wonderful experience, all at an unbeatable price. Please don't change a thing: the people of Aurillac are so lucky!

06/08/2026: I discovered this place a while ago and had a very positive experience, which I repeated tonight and it was a real treat: excellent homemade dishes, impeccable and attentive service. I highly recommend it.

13/07/2026: The welcome is wonderful, the golden-brown galettes are delicious and prepared with love. The small glass of rosé is perfect, and the ice cream is excellent. The owner (Julien) is lovely and very attentive to his customers. I highly recommend this place.

23/03/2026: We were already familiar with the place and have never been disappointed; it's always a resounding success. We were lucky enough to discover this exceptional new menu, and everything was perfect—we were all captivated! I'm still raving about it! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥂 A REFINED AND SURE THING!

28/12/2025: A very warm and attentive welcome, especially with two young children; everything was done to make them feel comfortable and enjoy an excellent lunch. A moment much appreciated by the parents and grandfather as well. The "pounti" was original and delicious, and the poultry, desserts, and Alsatian Pinot Noir were equally excellent. 11/07/2026: Restaurant on a quiet street, the storefront isn't very inviting, but once you step inside you're drawn in by the cheerful atmosphere, comforted by the generous portions, and all at a very reasonable price. Keep up the good work!

25/04/2026: Excellent family lunch: the appetizers, the flavorful and perfectly cooked Salers beef, the cheese platter, and the dessert—everything was delicious and of high quality. The service was very friendly. The chef, Didier Guibert, even came to greet us at the end of the meal to make sure we were satisfied. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful time!

13/04/2026: A reliable choice in Aurillac: the setting lacks a bit of warmth and the portions tend to be smaller than they used to be, but it's still well-prepared and very tasty. Unusually for Aurillac, there's a chef in the kitchen.

12/06/2026: A very pleasant place with delightful staff. The service is quick and friendly, and the dishes are not only delicious but also mouthwatering and satisfying. In short, a must-visit when in Aurillac.

19/07/2026: We had lunch as a family at this brasserie, which we stumbled upon quite by chance. The owner, a rugby fan, and his partner were very welcoming, and the waiter was friendly. We had excellent homemade fries, which is quite rare and worth mentioning. The meat was exquisite, as was the crème brûlée. The wine and cheese were excellent and locally sourced. I highly recommend this brasserie; we'll be back, if only to see the owner's collector's jersey! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

15/07/2026: A mass-produced croque monsieur. A long wait for pike-perch with beurre blanc sauce... finally served with fish and chips sauce. In short, I don't recommend it.

13/07/2026: My partner and I had lunch there. Their blue cheese sauce is to die for. We ordered the ribeye and the sirloin steak, both excellent. The waiter is charismatic and has a unique, distinctly Auvergne personality. I really liked him. The chocolate fondant for dessert was delicious. We were told everything was homemade. In short, we were very happy with our meal, even though some customers can easily be overlooked when the restaurant is crowded.
