20/10/2024: Stayed at the hotel just up the road for our the first night of our honeymoon. Tried the hotel restaurant and was over priced and bad atmosphere. So came across the road to Cap Ô Sud and had a fantastic time! Food was lovely and staff were fantastic! Made us feel so welcome and they were so funny. Could not recommend enough really made our trip.
05/10/2024: The pizza with burrata and Parma ham was SUPER, salad a la Saison with baguette, cocktails, dessert and really nice service ❤️

11/06/2024: Proposition de menu plus que simple, rien de fou. Vous pouvez faire pareil voir mieux chez vous. Présentation des assiettes très simplistes. Commandé un soda qui arrive avec la date dépassée mais cela ne gêne pas la serveuse. Prix correct mais pour rien d'extra. Je ne conseille pas. Passez votre chemin, il y a mieux a quelques mètres.

14/09/2024: Formule du midi : frites excellentes, moules aussi, mais servies pas assez chaud (froides en fin de repas). Salade César : à éviter. Dessert (flan) bon, sans plus, glace très bonne.
12/09/2024: Excellent restaurant et bien situé à la Cotiniere. Les produits de la mer et la cuisine sont excellents. Un peu de loupés au service (mais reconnu par le chef, par manque de personnel, ce que l'on peut comprendre).

We really liked the magnificent setting but the waitress is not pleasant at all, her way of communicating is not good at all (we feel like we are disturbing).
It's a shame because there's not much missing to recommend this place.

25/08/2023: La Terrasse now only offers takeaway meals: pizzas, brushettas, salads and drinks, and desserts including the mascot (large local donut)

The pizzas and brushettas are very good, the salads well stocked and fresh, all to take away, on the beautiful Vergnes beach 100m away!!

The food is more than adequate considering what you find on the island and the prices are there too, the prices of the island and of any restaurant of this type.
Payment without credit card is, it is true, surprising and annoying but once you know it..... Please at least authorize payment in crypto and be modern.
We ate well, laughed in a superb place. THANKS

07/11/2024: We came across this charming little creperie by chance during our vacation in the region. The pancakes are delicious and plentiful and we were very well received.

04/11/2024: A few years ago the restaurant was great, but what a disappointment to return there. The food is very passable. Very average reception, not very pleasant. The town of Mornac is worth a visit but a lot to change in this restaurant. Damage.

10/09/2024: Saw 2 baguette sandwiches we fancied & started by asking deux baguette fermiers s'il vous plaît in my best French only to be barked at & told in French they weren't called baguettes they were called sandwich fermier which made me feel about 2 foot tall. I then started to ask for a coffee éclair & she got a bag out to put it in but I then said I'd like another cake. She sighed & dramatically threw a box on the counter & the bag away. My face by this time was bright red I felt so embarrassed. She then completely ignored me for my request of a 3rd cake & asked the person behind in the Q what they'd like, passing my cakes & "sandwich" to her colleague at the cash desk. Worse still 3 hours later when we went to eat our sandwich they were "italien" & not "fermier" so she'd given me the wrong ones. Awful service & not a very nice woman

Ne distingue pas les serveurs des clients, plats copieux mais pas terrible (riz basmati comme à la maison avec du poisson trop cuit), je ne recommande pas ! Très déçu !

02/07/2024: I ask for the à la carte dish: home fries and roast chicken.
Served in 3 seconds...the sauce is very good..I drop 1 fries, they are not cooked, and the chicken is very pink.
I kindly ask if it is possible to go back a little while cooking.
The furious owner tells me: I served 40 people today, no one said it was bad!
I always politely retort that I never said it wasn't good, I just said it wasn't cooked enough.
And then he tells me that he refuses to cook again! He pulls on the chicken bone and tells him that his chicken is cooked! And asks me to leave angry!
I have never been treated like this!
I am shocked ! I strongly advise against the welcome of this restaurant!
A lady outside tells me that she hasn't been there for 6 months! How often lack of cooking happens and how the owner gets angry every time when the slightest comment is made to him! To flee !
15/05/2024: Price displayed on the card does not correspond to the collection. An a la carte lunch menu and payment for a separate main course and dessert. Several service omissions. A slug on the salad plate. It's the perfect packaging.
Jack Daniel: €6 paid for €5 à la carte.
Lunch menu €20.50 paid for €15.50 for the main course and €6 for the dessert.
I'm far from being close to 2€ but with the whole thing. It does not go through.
I recommend that you correct your map.
