24/09/2024: The terrace of this bar is just incredible, truly anchored in the port of Saint Martin de Ré. On the other hand, we were disappointed by our cocktails which were really average. The service is also average with a decent server but not very smiling or salesman. Basically ideal for the terrace but avoid cocktails.

24/09/2024: Pleasant setting for a drink by the sea
20/09/2024: Fancy an aperitif by the sea, splendid view with magnificent sunshine. Dirty and shaky table, unfriendly waitress. We order 2 soft drinks and 2 glasses of wine. Total €22.....The time to consume we wonder about the price. As we leave we have the idea of looking at the map and there surprise! ! We were charged 2 pitchers instead of 2 glasses. After complaining, the boss gave us €5 back, laughing without any apology on his part, saying that the waitress did not see the buttons on the cash register. THIEF !!!!

We went there during our vacation and we will come back on occasion!
30/08/2024: Good evening, we came to eat at your place, the meal was pretty decent but the big problem, the chef's outfit and shoes were very disgusting,😡😡
and 1 of the servers was not friendly at all with 1 group of customers with their children who wanted to sit on the terrace and who left immediately, and the cleanliness of the restaurant in general remains very average

30/09/2024: We sat at this brasserie as it was a lovely situation and the waiter was helpful, however, it was the worst moules and frites we've ever had. Tiny tasteless moules with lots of onion and NO sauce. No bread was served as there was no sauce to mop it up! Hence we will not be returning very disappointed.

The servers were few so very very long

30/08/2024: THE PLACE IS VERY NICE BUT… the DJ should follow the requests of the public. The music does not contain words so no one was able to get into the mood and therefore have fun. It seems he is there every evening. Otherwise nice for a drink.
27/08/2024: I picked up my 16 year old son last night who was in the establishment without my knowing!!! A night establishment is not supposed to let minors in and even less serve them alcohol... he was not asked for his identity document or that of his 7 friends on the pretext that they were with a 25 year old person.
Given the many negative comments I am not surprised but I find it difficult to understand why there is no control by the police.

22/09/2024: The only stars I can give go to the artists in photos nailed to the wall of the arts café! Was the backpacker's guide wrong? “Cooking is an art” unfortunately not for everyone. I do not recommend this address
18/09/2024: Coming to eat as a group of 2, we were greeted by the boss where the smile must have been extra, the pancakes are really not great and we can clearly see that they are reheated pancakes...as proof because on going to the toilet, we pass next to the kitchens where I could see 1 crepiere out of 4 lit and a pile of already cooked crepes next to it.
The pancakes are tasteless and the atmosphere is as heavy as a cemetery, so move on to this establishment.

13/08/2024: The €36 menu is far from keeping its promises. Hot oysters bathed in butter despite being well cooked. The duo of fish very well cooked but the sauce announced was forgotten (a gesture would have been appreciated as compensation) and semolina on the side... we are missing the point. The wine is good and not expensive. To drown his disappointment?
The langoustines are good as are the desserts.
Worth seeing but certainly not at €36 with such decor and such service!

11/08/2024: Very good little restaurant at the entrance to the island of Aix, we ate unlimited mussels marinière (these are the island's mussels) after drinking a small craft beer from the island. Very beautiful setting by the sea.
08/08/2024: burnt fries, fortunately served in a glass so in small quantities. Crispy chicken worse than in the canteen, mussels marinière bathed in black juice. Frankly disgusting.

24/06/2024: 2 poke bowls veggie 15 euros chaque, qui ne sont qu'une salade composée de crudités (avocat, houmous, radis, riz, chou, betterave, carotteset 1/4 de mangue) avec vinaigrette classique.. Manque une sauce asiatique.
Bavette d'Aloyau, originaire d'Uruguay 18, 90... J'ai testé mais pas fini.. Trop coriace à mon goût. Frites bonnes. J'y avais mangé en juillet 2023 (moules frites et profiterole) et en avais été satisfaite.
Pas pris de dessert vu la déception.

06/09/2024: I was not a customer but I am renting a house nearby this place and they're playing loud dance music that one can hear at 1 kilometer distance. It screws up our 'quiet' evening at the beautiful Brittany coast ... Incredible.,😕
