24/03/2024: It is always a pleasure for the taste buds and the eyes: an invitation to travel. Everything is excellent. It's always a pleasant time spent in a top setting.
09/03/2024: Unfortunately, it is no longer the "Chez Paul" that we knew, this friendly place with generous and tasty cuisine.
Despite everything, the service is good and the atmosphere too.

01/04/2024: Nice atmosphere and location, but the food is mediocre. Croque monsieur without béchamel, with a small slice of ham and a small piece of cheese on top for €18, the worst I've eaten.
15/03/2024: No Irish coffee at 11 p.m.... on a Friday evening. The machines are turned off.

05/04/2024: Small restaurant in the historic center of Angoulême. Warm welcome, the semi-cooked tuna accompanied by its risotto is a delight, original presentation. The same goes for the bobbin leg. Careful service. Excellent value for money. Very hearty.
We recommend!

(Tapas side), a delight, add to that a responsive and adorable team and you have part of the combo for a great evening. Around 10:00 p.m. the place comes alive in a crescendo, Music and lighting are expertly balanced for an atmosphere clearly worthy of the place! It was a first for me, I will go back 🙂
Last advice, don’t hesitate to book because after 10 p.m. there are people 😉

03/05/2024: We arrived on the eve of a wedding for lunch and stopped at this small chic restaurant. We had specialties from Angoulême and we highly recommend it.
02/05/2024: Simple, but delicious! Excellent value. Unusual decor! Located in Old Angoulême, a district that I particularly like.

31/03/2024: Came as a family on Easter Sunday for our Grandma's 90th birthday, the service was impeccable, the meal was super good and very generous (we are currently stranded on the sofa lol). Very warm welcome. We therefore thank Monsieur Berthe, the young waiter and the little hands behind the stove for this fabulous moment. And thank you for the little flowers as a gift

26/04/2024: One of the best, if not the best burger I've eaten in my entire life. The cheese had a lot of flavor, the mushrooms were tasty, the bread was homemade (who does that except psychopaths and people who love their work and their cooking????) The onions were tender. The fries were homemade, I was even surprised when I saw that the sauce for the fries was industrial.
It's simple, it's a delicious brand, with a ridiculously low price compared to the quality of the food and what's more, we welcome you with warmth and a smile. I didn't think I could experience this in my life. Thank you so much

05/05/2024: It is eaten very well, the lemon dessert is delicious. The place is cozy and the waitresses are very friendly and correct.
Very good atmosphere and highly recommended.
Plus it doesn't close as early as other restaurants.
A 10!!
