20/10/2025: Good hotel, reasonable price, well received, decent bedding, just lacks lighting in the shower, apart from that nothing to add.

12/10/2025: The room is clean and good value for money. Wi-Fi and friendly, efficient service. For the time of year, how quiet is the street?! After all, during the tourist season, it's a must-see. Free parking across from the train station. Generous breakfast.

20/10/2025: Thank you, sir, for the warm welcome! My partner and I were just passing through and looking for somewhere open on a Sunday evening! Well, thank you so much! Unbeatable value for money. €15 for a starter, main course, and dessert.

18/10/2025: School lunch: roast pork with dehydrated veal stock. The restrooms weren't very clean, and luckily I didn't have to touch the toilet seat.

24/02/2026: We went there as a group of four, thinking we'd find the daily specials for €10. Of course, they weren't available, supposedly... One of the people with me found a knife point in their dish. We reported it, but the dish wasn't replaced or refunded. Even worse, the owner (who is also the cook) denied there was a knife point. I personally found a thick, dark hair, about 5 cm long, in my omelet. And to top it all off, my coffee was served in a dirty cup (various stains outside and on the counter). I suggested to the cook that it would be wise to put a hairnet in the kitchen, and he replied that he was 62 years old and had never done so, instead of simply apologizing for the incident, especially since I hadn't complained during the meal, given what had already happened. Generally speaking, the food wasn't very good; my porcini omelet barely tasted of porcini, and €18 for that portion is outrageous. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant even if these incidents hadn't occurred.

15/02/2026: Hello, we spent one night in this hotel. Comfortable, well-heated, clean linens and room. The food was excellent, the Valentine's Day menu was a real treat (the chef should definitely stick to his profession!). Breakfast was also fantastic. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The only slight drawback was the welcome (upon arrival). The young man was charming but a bit shy; he shouldn't lose confidence. If he believes in himself, he'll succeed. (No criticism, just kindness). Overall, we highly recommend this establishment. The Charentaises 😉🤟

15/02/2026: A very pleasant hotel. We received a very warm welcome for the February 14th weekend. The evening menu and service were excellent, with beautifully prepared and presented dishes. The relaxation area is very pleasant, comfortable, and clean. The staff were very friendly throughout. We highly recommend it.

05/03/2026: I stayed one night for business and was in for a nasty surprise. The room was dilapidated with no soundproofing; I could hear my neighbors talking! The bathroom was practically unsanitary!

04/03/2026: The room for two was exactly as pictured. The welcome was pleasant. We opted for half-board and thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant meal: fresh, homemade dishes at an affordable price and with quick service. We'll be back! 🙂

12/10/2025: A very bad experience! Absolutely shocking, we went in to ask if we could still eat at 1:45 p.m., we didn't receive a Hello, but we received a Get Out!!! We have never had such a disgusting experience in life!

26/10/2025: Sunday morning, market day, the sun is out. What better way to enjoy the moment than to have a cup of tea on a terrace. What a shame it's ruined by a rude waitress. Barely a hello. Not a smile. Moreover, Madame is allowing herself to judge us because we want to pay by card and is ready to do so. A little tip for a better life: you should change jobs if this one doesn't suit you or you don't like it.

02/12/2025: One-night stay in November 2025, cleanliness left much to be desired... Clumps of hair were found in the bathtub, then a few more in the bed and toilet. Dusty floor and furniture... Warm, cold water... We didn't dare mention it to reception because other guests were waiting behind us to pay... The decor was outdated... Positive points: beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped room. The receptionist was very welcoming!

15/11/2025: This hotelier has completely lost her sense of customer service, no doubt worn down by 35 years in the business. After just five minutes of trying to book a room, she informed me that she wouldn't take our reservation because we didn't have a mobile phone! The reason given was that she didn't want to be responsible for a guest she couldn't reach by phone. I've never heard such an argument! It's high time she stopped this line of work, which no longer suits her, and made way for more enthusiastic professionals.

14/10/2025: Beautiful setting for a coffee on the terrace and the sun was shining. Very pleasant.
