21/05/2026: So yes, I gave it 5 stars, but I'm only rating it 3 in each category... But 5 because you have to admit this establishment deserves it. The food is simple and good, a bit more like school cafeteria food than home-cooked. But it's tasty. The service is simple: appetizers and dessert are served buffet-style (you get up and serve yourself), and you just receive your main course and drinks from the servers. But the buffets are nice and simple, even if the selection is limited. I noticed a definite effort to reduce food waste, which I find very positive. The atmosphere is like a small self-service cafeteria or canteen. It's a little noisy when the place is full, but you can still easily have a conversation. The welcome is warm and friendly. So, in the end, I recommend it if you want a quick and easy meal.

04/07/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Boizé! The seared salmon was delicious, as was the duck... everything was very well prepared and the staff were very welcoming.

29/04/2026: We went there for lunch as a couple on a Wednesday. The atmosphere was great, the setting pleasant with soothing decor. The service was mainly provided by trainees. They did their best and were very pleasant. For our meal, we opted for the lunchtime set menu. We had gravlax salmon as a starter and flank steak with fries as a main course. The dishes were delicious, well-seasoned, and full of flavor! However, the dessert left much to be desired… a tiramisu without biscuits. And a chocolate pistachio fondant that was dry with a very artificial pistachio "coulis." Avoid this place for dessert. At the end of service, the manager was unpleasant. He didn't ask how the meal went and had a haughty air about him.

09/06/2026: A stop (dinner) during our cycling trip in Deux-Sèvres. A very warm welcome, excellent food, and efficient service. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

04/08/2026: With a little salad? With a dollop of whipped cream? And some cider? Be warned, each salad leaf will cost you an extra 2 euros! The tattooed guy with blue eyes is putting a bit—too much—pressure on you to choose quickly! The waitress is much calmer and more attentive to the customer, thank you to her. The food is very good, although I'm still looking for the port in the port fondue. The setting is great, and if you want to eat on the terrace, you should possibly book the day before.

25/04/2026: A very warm welcome upon arrival. The rooms are spacious and the establishment has a lot of charm. The staff are pleasant and attentive. Special mention goes to the restaurant: refined cuisine, prepared with seasonal produce, which is definitely worth a visit.

25/03/2026: The setting in the heart of the countryside, 10 minutes from Niort, is peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant is pleasant and the indoor pool is a nice touch, although a few more sun loungers and a little extra service would be a real plus. The decor in some of the rooms is rather dated and could use a refresh. That said, the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, finding solutions with a smile.

18/08/2026: Very disappointed. We had a reservation for three people, for a table on the terrace, but unfortunately, it was closed that evening. Our evening was ruined by the very high temperature inside; there was no air conditioning or fans. The staff were friendly, but the food was average. I won't be going back.

12/04/2026: Lovely lunch, family had a roast traditional Sunday lunch, I had a veggie burger. Really nice, just a quick bike ride from home, lovely Sunday experience. Family run campsite where they really work hard to make it a lovely experience for you. Definitely recommended.

03/06/2026: We spent two nights at this hotel, including breakfast and dinner. The room was very nice, the welcome was very friendly, and the breakfasts were excellent value for money. The dinner at €21.90 was superb. We absolutely don't understand some of the extremely negative and harsh reviews, which bear no resemblance to reality. We recommend this hotel.

18/04/2026: Everything was good. The room was clean, staff is friendly. The hotel has good location for late diner(Panda wok) and for great breakfast in nearest bakery.

03/05/2026: We had a reservation for 12 pm. The order was taken rather late. First the drinks, then the food (even though we had already made our choices). We explained that we were in a hurry due to the ceremony. Despite this, the starter arrived 45 minutes later, followed by the main course (with salmon that made our mouths itch). The service was slow. I was disappointed by this rushed lunch, which should have been a more leisurely experience. I couldn't have dessert because of the tight schedule. I left at 2 pm. After the frustration of my table and the other customers, they explained it as a staff shortage. We would have appreciated being informed earlier so we could have decided whether to keep our reservation or not.

28/08/2026: I do not recommend this place; the staff is arrogant and unpleasant. We were a group of four and spent a fair amount, even leaving a tip. This did nothing to change the almost Parisian, arrogant attitude of the staff, especially in a city like Marseille. There are plenty of wine bars in this city that deserve far more attention than this one. What a shame.
