05/08/2024: A lovely, welcoming hotel in a fabulous location. We had the nicest stay, the staff all make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We walked into town for dinner on the boardwalk by the river which was beautiful, although the hotel does do drinks and a small menu in the evenings when they can. The pool is small but very welcome on a hot day in a small walled garden with loungers. There is also a pagoda to sit in in the garden with lovely views. Aurélie, Kate and Lauren are great, the rooms are spotless and have beautiful beams and furniture. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

03/08/2024: The best part is the swimming pool even if it is not very large (max 4 people). The setting is pleasant, very quiet, the staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. The least concerns the old-fashioned rooms. Beautiful TV in the room. Bathroom small and not very well equipped: no shelf to put kit and products and nothing to hang towels?!? The services are not in line with the price 🫤

There is an excellent fine dining restaurant with pricing to match, but to be completely honest it is overpriced for what is served. I didn't like · Being charged €10 for a dog (apparently because it's a big dog! I'm going to change my Cane Corso for a chihuahua!!) But I promise you my dog ​​didn't take a shower, didn't use the facility bathroom or toiletries, didn't leave the light on, and didn't leave hair or damage the room.

02/09/2024: En hyper centre de Niort, un restaurant avec une agréable terrasse ouverte à l’étage. Dans l’assiette, c’est très bien aussi: excellent croque à la truffe, porc et poulpe très goûteux. Service efficace. Grosse connaissance sur le vin. Une adresse recommandée.

We decided to eat every day at Berland, yes when you're comfortable there, you definitely shouldn't change, super good food, Jacques a magician, attentive and so friendly staff, that we will regret, really moments without stress. I then head towards a very small room on the left. The tables are taken. I advance into a second, very small, cozy room. There was room. I sit down and wait for my order to be taken. Person. I get up and walk towards the person serving behind the counter. No smile. I wait for her to serve her customers and ask her if she can take my order. She replied to me, in an unpleasant tone and without a smile, that it was marked on the table that you had to take your order before going to sit down. We don't know it when we enter this café for the first time, it's not marked anywhere! Anyway, I order him a classic coffee, and a thimble is served to me! A shame for an exorbitant price! And the coffee isn't great. In addition, the connection does not work if you want to use your phone for an SMS, for example. I won't come back. I advise against it.
