24/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience! Traveling solo for work. A fantastic welcome; they were so attentive and offered to let me plug in my laptop without me even asking. The service was incredibly pleasant! And the homemade food was absolutely delicious! A real treat! Thank you for this relaxing break in a busy day! And I even discovered Comtesse de Vichy cheese… so tasty! I'm definitely noting this address for my next trip!

20/03/2026: A quick, impromptu stop at Food & Co during our visit to Sarlat, and yet... A superb welcome, a very kind and efficient owner. The salads were generous and appetizing, and the homemade sauce that accompanied the duck confit was to die for! Highly recommended!

08/03/2026: Excellent restaurant in Sarlat, discovered last night! The dishes are generous and truly high quality, featuring excellent local duck products. The cooking was perfect and the flavor particularly pronounced, demonstrating the care taken in the kitchen. The restaurant is located in a charming little alley in Sarlat, which makes the experience even more delightful. The staff is very friendly and we immediately felt welcome. I'm so glad I didn't let the 3.9/5 Google rating deter me, because this establishment clearly deserves 5/5. It just goes to show, you shouldn't always rely solely on a rating: some truly wonderful places are well worth the detour!

06/03/2026: This restaurant is very pleasant and the owner is friendly. All the dishes are delicious and generous. The value for money is quite good, especially considering its location in Sarlat. Note their homemade foie gras. The wines are also well-chosen. This was my fourth visit to this establishment at different times of the year over the years: always consistent quality and a real pleasure to return. I highly recommend it!

We immediately felt at home, with a caring and passionate team. As for the food, it was simply a delight: we savored absolutely sublime Périgord specialties (a special mention for the duck confit). Each dish was flavorful, generous, and perfectly executed—a true culinary journey! This is an establishment that truly deserves to be known and recognized. If you are passing through Sarlat, don't miss it: stop by, you won't be disappointed!

19/04/2026: Passing through for a business lunch. Poor value for money... A basic tourist trap, what a disappointment! We were expecting a typical regional lunch. I'm willing to pay a premium, but it should be worth it... Not this time!

06/04/2026: A beautiful and charming house, well located, slightly off the beaten path but very close to the picturesque center of Sarlat. We received a very warm welcome from all the staff. The family suite was spacious, well laid out, and had comfortable beds. The breakfasts were generous and of high quality. The restaurant menu offered a variety of dishes, and the lunches were excellent and original, prepared with quality ingredients. We enjoyed them on the lovely shaded terrace! Wishing the whole team a wonderful season.

18/04/2026: Absolutely fantastic! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, a cozy ambiance—that's the setting. The food is perfect. The delicious and generous homemade pizzas, the quality meat, and the impeccable service at a more than reasonable price make you want to come back, which we did. Well done and thank you.

16/04/2026: Pizza Périgourdine (Crème fraîche, cheese, dried duck breast, goat cheese, olives, oregano) -> very good. Pizza La Coppa du Périgord (Cream, cheese, coppa from Périgord, Cantal AOP cheese, basil, Périgord walnuts, black olives, oregano) -> very good. The pizzas are good and generous. But the service is borderline amateurish. At the end of the meal, we were asked if there would be coffee. We replied, "no," and the waitress left us standing there. No instructions on how to pay, no "Have a good day."
