14/09/2024: A beautiful place, in one of those narrow Chartres streets and a few steps from the cathedral. A discreet, pleasant service and there to advise. Delicious traditional French cuisine, clearly made with passion. All very affordable. I adore!

10/11/2024: Bonne table, néanmoins des déceptions sur le rapport qualité-prix, 27 ou 29€ pour un plat avec 2 gambas seulement... Même sur un bon plat, c'est un peu "chiche". Des accompagnements quelconques. Les desserts sont vraiment limite en qualité/originalité (et prix)... Accueil sympathique, et la salle a beaucoup de charme, dommage... Bref une adresse que j'aurais noté nettement mieux avec des prix 30% moins élevés... Ils manque quelques détails sérieux pour ce type de tarifs à nos yeux...

15/09/2024: Nous avons passé une bonne soirée avec des serveurs très sympathiques. Les plats étaient très bons et copieux l'assiette de fromage n'était pas extraordinaire mais les st jacques une tuerie !! Bémol pour le menu enfant : inexistant sur la carte, un seul choix fait de chipolatas/frites glace Smarties facturé 18€!!! Quel dommage pour ce type d'établissement. Peut être que la clientèle habituelle est au dessus de 15 ans...

31/08/2024: Jean-Pierre is a great host with a sense of humor with a twist, talking to him makes you smile, whatever the subject. Lovely - and dangerous- cocktails, we had a great dinner, slept well. Hotel is in a quiet area with the park garden near a small river. A hidden gem, well worth the detour! Christine & Alain.

25/08/2024: Everything comes together as Perfect at the White Cross with excellent value for money from the starter to the gourmet dessert including the legendary Trou Normand. I highly recommend this restaurant.

05/08/2024: On a business trip -Impeccable service -Catering despite the fact that I eat lunch and dinner at the restaurant every day of the week, they managed to surprise me with astonishing flavors with the parmentier 2.0 and the chocolate and apricot coulis dessert -Spacious and very clean room A little downside to quibble otherwise we're not French It's a week with high temperatures and there is no air conditioning but it's still largely bearable I highly recommend, I will come back

04/09/2024: Fabulous !! We got married at the Domaine de Meaucé, and everything was perfect, thanks to the charm of the place, its soul, its family spirit, and Caroline... She is an incredible woman, who welcomes you with a smile, and with her sidekick Sam, a golden retriever (he's adorable and so handsome!!). Caroline is a great professional, who advised us and helped us to make this weekend a great success. Within the estate, above all there is the outside, you enter and it is already magnificent. The garden is very well maintained, the swimming pool is beautiful, the small bridges, the view of the Grand Maison, access to the tree house, the field with the deer and deer, the apple trees... We are transported, and we are immediately planning our wedding. And as the visit progresses, we realize that there is a room which will be a plan B for every moment in case of rain, and that is really great: A room for the ceremony A cocktail room A room for dinner and evening... And even a space for the Photobooth :) And all the accommodation provided which can accommodate around 80 people at the wedding venue, it's simply brilliant! All our guests found that the bedding was of very good quality, everything was clean, everyone had their own bath towel placed on their bed... This is high level service. We can only recommend the Domaine de Meaucé, where we will return to a B&B. We had decided to arrive at the place a few days before, and were welcomed so well, with a great breakfast, everything is local, even the jams are homemade!! Whether it's a visit to the region for a few nights, or to organize an event, go for it, you won't be disappointed :)

25/08/2024: We got married at Domaine de Meaucé in early August 2024 and we can without a doubt say that it is the best place in the world to get married. Everything is perfect, the exteriors, the rooms, the tepees, the swimming pool, the room for dining and dancing…. And especially Caroline without whom this wedding would never have been so perfect! Because Caroline does a lot of things to keep everything running smoothly and keep our minds light! In addition to providing very good advice, she manages the installation of chairs for the secular ceremony, the preparation of breakfasts for the guests (what joy these baskets of pastries and hot coffee upon waking up), including the reception service providers… in short, we can trust him with our eyes closed! It’s undoubtedly one of the best weekends of our lives, for us but also for all our guests who had a great time and had a timeless moment! The possibility of renting the domain for three days is definitely a real plus! This allows you to take your time, enjoy the swimming pool, and create bonds between all the guests! We can't wait to come back and celebrate wedding anniversaries! 😉 Until then, we wish you all the best for the many other weddings and events to come Caroline! And a thousand thanks for everything!
