Quiet and tucked away in a lush garden, this restaurant combines magnificent antique decor, classic yet refined, tasty and generous cuisine, high-quality service, and a great deal of attention to detail. A rare gem.
21/06/2025: A true interlude in time.
This inn, run by a woman as warm as she is passionate, offered us a moment of silence. The cuisine is generous, flavorful, and prepared with love and taste. Each dish tells a story, and the charming setting adds to the experience. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend.

12/09/2024: Nous avons découvert presque par hasard ce restaurant qui n'est pas très visible lorsqu'on ne connaît pas la commune. C'est une découverte heureuse car l'accueil, le cadre et le repas ont été très agréables. Nous reviendrons dans ce restaurant lors d'une prochaine visite à Thiron Gardais.

26/09/2024: Only went in for a coffee but it was busy with customers. Seemed to be the place to go in Nogent!
09/09/2024: Just finished eating here on a Monday lunch when all the others are closed or close as early as 2.30pm. We were surprised and happy with the kindness of the service and above all with the dishes, of which we recommend the perfectly made omelette and the potatoes both pan-fried and au gratin! The homemade bread and Italian coffee are excellent (even if the espresso should be shorter) as is the €17 lunch menu including starter, main course and dessert. From the menu we only understood the chocolate mousse and so we took that, I advise you to translate it at least into English too.
Informal and relaxing atmosphere with a view of the small square, quick service. Well done and greetings from Italy!

Plats bien présentés et servis bien chauds .

16/11/2024: Nous venons régulièrement avec mon conjoint au restaurant le relais de l’Aligre, nous sommes toujours très bien reçus et la cuisine y est toujours excellente. Nous n’avons jamais été déçu, la carte change régulièrement, en fonction des saisons et la formule du midi, proposée en semaine, permet de découvrir des menus élaborés à des prix abordables. En résumé, un lieu chaleureux où les serveurs sont aux petits soins et dont on sort toujours ravi !

It's closed with a big disgusting iron curtain.

14/09/2024: Nice restaurant bar on the main square of the city. The terrace is pleasant and on the plate, we enjoy it! The dishes are simple, well made with good products. Little extra for the choice of beer on tap and the coffee better than elsewhere!
