18/06/2026: Extremely unpleasant. The drunk owner came out of his parking lot, started honking like crazy, and spoke very rudely because he's a former taxi driver. Of course, the problem wasn't so much the parking, since we were right next to our vehicles, but rather the "private driver" and "VTC" label he and his taxi colleagues slap on us. They hate us... Unfortunately for you, we had every right to be where we were because we're guests at the hotel next door. I would have liked to have a constructive dialogue with you, but you're stubborn. Oh well, no hard feelings.

05/08/2026: We arrived after a long drive with only one desire: to sit down and take a look at the menu. Clearly, that was asking too much. The waitress, whose smile seemed to be optional, asked us to choose immediately at the counter, while other customers had the privilege of perusing the menu at their tables. Undoubtedly a concept reserved for a select clientele. As for the atmosphere, if you're looking for absolute silence, you'll find it. It was almost like a funeral service, the atmosphere was so warm... We simply asked to be seated in the sun, but moving two tables seemed to be a logistical feat of the century. Fortunately, the food somewhat redeemed the experience: the dishes were decent. It's a shame that the welcome and service managed to spoil a good part of the meal. P.S.: In response to the owner: our dog was indeed a nuisance, and we brought him back to the car without any problem. However, this doesn't change the fact that your welcome was extremely poor, even before the dog had barked. If a dog's behavior reflects the personality of its owners, as you seem to think, then a restaurant owner's responses to customer comments reflect just as much their sense of service… and their ability to learn from their mistakes. P.S.: Perhaps the dog didn't appreciate the welcome either. In any case, I do not recommend this establishment. There are much nicer places nearby.

20/08/2026: I'm not rating the food or the atmosphere, only the fact that I booked today on your website and received a confirmation email. Surprise upon arrival… Closed! It would be wise to update your website while you're away and also stop sending booking confirmation emails.

16/07/2026: We had planned to order the goat cheese mille-feuille, but when we saw it being served to our neighbors, we had to settle for an omelet and fries. It was €15, and the portion was tiny! They told us, "It's a starter"... in that case, €8 would have been the right price. Charging the same price as foie gras is outrageous. Our main course was good, but we could have made it at home, so we were disappointed. The decor was a bit dated but clean.

08/04/2026: Helpful, friendly staff and a nice quiet site. They could do with changing a few of the lights in the shower block.

29/03/2026: We had a fantastic weekend at the campsite. We were a group of 60 people. The mobile home was great, well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed an excellent couscous, a good breakfast, and a superb buffet to finish. The owners are a very courageous, dynamic, and welcoming young couple.

27/06/2026: Homemade food is definitely on offer at Le Grand Claireau, prepared and served by Margotte. Whether you choose to dine inside or on the terrace, alone or with friends, it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Takeaway is also available. So don't hesitate to book! 😉

17/06/2026: We used this restaurant's catering service for our wedding. We had a roast pig, cheeses from the neighboring farm, and the dishes were beautiful and well-presented. The waiter was friendly, smiling, and professional. Chef Théo had organized everything for brunch the following day. I highly recommend this restaurant.

09/08/2026: A great spot in Brou; you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. The setting is elegant, with a pleasant touch of chic that makes all the difference. I had the homemade pâté en croûte, which was truly delicious and perfectly seasoned. The lunchtime set menu is a good choice, with generous portions and excellent value for money. A pleasant surprise at the bar: superb pastis to discover, such as Pastis du Verger or Henri Bardouin, for those who want something a little different. A place I readily recommend for a pleasant meal, simple and unpretentious.

01/08/2026: Very disappointed. I waited about 30 minutes just to get a drink. Then, after another 30 minutes, my snack still hadn't arrived. I finally decided to leave without eating. Such a long wait is unacceptable. It's a real shame, as it completely ruined the experience.

31/07/2026: The cocktails are excellent. The snacks are high quality. The service is pleasant, and the terrace and dining room are really lovely.

14/08/2026: We ordered three dishes: two salads and a croque monsieur. The croque monsieur was served, after we insisted, more than 10 minutes after the salads! And the owner, very annoyed and extremely unpleasant, kept making derogatory comments to several customers! Remember, these are the same customers who keep you in business, madam...

26/08/2026: A pub with a distinctly interceltic decor, comfortable seating, and plenty of woodwork. A selection of dishes is available à la carte, but there's no wine list. The food is beautifully presented, and the value for money is excellent. The desserts are delicious. However, the welcome was a bit gruff, perhaps because we arrived after 1 p.m.

15/07/2026: If you're looking for an intimate tête-à-tête, look elsewhere. At Cristal, the experience begins right on the sidewalk with a welcoming line of vapers and smokers, guaranteeing you a fragrant welcome, if you catch my drift. Once you're on the terrace, the noise level is worthy of a World Cup match. It's impossible to hear yourself think without shouting. A shame for a bistro where you were simply hoping for a pleasant time.

07/06/2026: I came to this restaurant for the first time with my parents. We weren't expecting such kindness and attentiveness from the waitress. We really liked the menu and were surprised by the generous portions! I couldn't have dessert! The appetizers were very substantial and absolutely delicious (two-salmon tartare and poached egg with wine sauce). Pleasant view, calm, and peaceful. A lovely establishment with the hotel right next door. We'll be back soon :-) Sandrine

27/05/2026: The €20 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) offered excellent value for money. The dishes were also prepared with impeccable quality. We were served by a single, charming young woman who was understandably overwhelmed with managing the entire service. A huge thank you to her for her professionalism despite being extremely busy. I was particularly shocked by the lack of action (or presence?) from management or any other staff. I don't know if it was management or a member of their family who handed the phone to the waitress to take a reservation, even though this young woman was already running around everywhere. And was literally taking care of our table payment. It would have been much more efficient and faster for her to handle the reservation herself. The condescension and disregard from these people, who only came to relax behind the bar without even noticing that their employee was overwhelmed and single-handedly running the restaurant (and the kitchen staff too), was appalling. They clearly needed someone in the dining room to help this young woman. Despite everything, this young woman was incredibly helpful, professional, and efficient in carrying out her duties. Respect!
