30/12/2025: I can't imagine a better experience in France than the one we had at Le Parvis. The location is amazing, and the building is nicely updated without sacrificing any of its historic charm. The staff was friendly and helpful and provided a first-rate breakfast that was one of the highlights of our trip.

02/01/2026: We had dinner at this place last New Year's Eve. It's well located in the heart of Thivars, right on the main road, with a private parking lot that was unfortunately too small. The entrance is spacious and the dining room is enormous. The atmosphere is cozy; you feel comfortable immediately. The welcome is excellent and the service impeccable. The cuisine is breathtaking; it's exquisite from start to finish. Even the restrooms are very clean, which speaks volumes. Go there without hesitation; this place is truly worth the detour.

The quality/price ratio is simply unbeatable! €40 for a starter, main course, and dessert, considering the truly top-notch quality of what's offered, is simply magnificent 😍 Everything is perfect: the setting, they even accepted our dog (with his water bowl too!), and of course, the food!!! I can't even begin to describe what we tasted, just go!!! Extraordinary, and I rarely leave reviews like this!

28/12/2025: The setting is exceptional and the course visually stunning; it's clearly a top-tier golf course with superb scenery, spectacular tee shots, and several truly unique tee boxes that make you want to play. Aesthetically, the site's potential is undeniable; it could easily rival the best courses. However, the reality of the game and the facilities unfortunately falls short. The driving range is extremely far away, accessed via a muddy and unpleasant path, which is neither practical nor befitting a golf course of this supposed caliber. The greens are in very poor condition: damaged, uneven, and truly unpleasant to putt on. There's a clear sense of overall neglect. Ultimately, the golf course boasts a "premium" setting, but the quality of maintenance and management is more reminiscent of a chain like UGOLF. It's a real shame, because the site has incredible potential, but currently, the playing experience doesn't live up to it at all.

24/02/2026: The waitress was extremely pushy; we'd barely sat down before we were expected to order. She came back several times and was really unpleasant. The food was okay. The food was alright.

15/03/2026: The food is generally good, which is what brought us back. However, the owner's welcome and attitude completely ruin the experience. She never admits her mistakes and doesn't hesitate to belittle her own staff in front of customers, which is very awkward. During our last visit, she offered our daughter a choice of dishes, saying she would accommodate her request… only to then charge us for an à la carte menu without any prior notice. Not very customer-friendly. The Grand Marnier soufflés were a complete disaster: clearly a mix-up between salt and sugar. Instead of taking responsibility, she blamed an absent staff member. Not even a gesture of goodwill. They could have at least offered us the one coffee we ordered. Another surprising point: there's still no aperitif menu; you have to order without knowing the prices, which is quite inconvenient. Finally, the restaurant is unfortunately inaccessible to people with reduced mobility, which is a real shame. In short: the food is decent, but the service and management make me not want to return, especially since the owner doesn't seem very handy anymore, and it's best to help her with the dishes and clearing up... And don't forget to check your bill!

02/01/2026: Perfect restaurant from start to finish, very warm welcome, very friendly waitress, the place is very clean and inviting. The crepes are delicious. I highly recommend it!!

25/12/2025: One star because zero is out of the question... Even making a reservation is a bad start: the website has no menu and the contact form is useless since there's no response. After a few days, I finally call to make a reservation, and the owner confirms that the website messages aren't checked. Upon arrival, the welcome is lukewarm, and the back room feels like a toilet, separated only by a sliding door... but not by smells! The tap water is ice-cold, and getting room-temperature water, the only thing I can digest, seems incredibly difficult... I order a buckwheat crepe by default because they all have far too many ingredients that don't go together (I do ask them to remove the chorizo, though, because rouille sauce + cheese + scallops, which are actually small, defrosted clams + bacon + spinach + salmon is already too much). The galette was overcooked, not Breton at all, swimming in melted butter (and yet I love butter when it enhances the ingredients), and very spicy with garlic without any warning. My husband ordered a "salad" consisting of large leaves simply placed on the plate with only balsamic vinegar—too bad if we don't like it! Underneath the salad (!) was cheap smoked salmon, tiny, overcooked, and therefore dry shrimp despite being thawed, and a few unpeeled tomato slices—what else! We forced ourselves to eat because we had a reservation afterward and couldn't go hungry, but when I told the owner-waitress that we hadn't liked it, particularly because of the spices, she seemed very surprised and replied in a very businesslike tone, "Oh yes, here it's all about the spices, we work with spices!" End of story. If you're not happy, stay home... That's what we'll do next time because we know how to cook and we love our delicious dishes made with love and fresh, local produce! To top it all off, it smelled burnt when we left because the owner-chef doesn't bother to clean his stovetop. It's all well and good to serve in 5 minutes, but hygiene is important too. In short, we've never been so disappointed by a restaurant in our entire life (and it's been a long one) and we strongly advise against this establishment, which is a disgrace to Brittany, a region we adore.
