19/02/2026: Upon arrival, the waitress was alone in the establishment. I asked her if she made crêpes, and she replied, "Yes." We ordered two crêpes. After placing our order, I headed towards the restroom, and as I passed, I noticed the waitress taking two pre-made crêpes out of a pile hidden under a napkin. The two crêpes, warmed up (in the microwave or on a griddle, I don't know), were served to us. Unsurprisingly, the batter was dry, making for a very enjoyable snack. €5 for a simple crêpe, pre-made and simply reheated—not great. A real shame for this establishment, which is well-known to the people of Nîmes.

07/04/2026: A wonderful discovery at lunchtime today at Le Romarin restaurant. I enjoyed an excellent Caesar salad, made with fresh ingredients. The service was simply perfect: quick and attentive. I highly recommend it!

30/03/2026: While in Nîmes on a business trip, we walked into this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel receptionist, and it was a wonderful discovery: the food was excellent and the service (Matthieu) was very pleasant. I highly recommend it; we will be back.

29/03/2026: Avoid at all costs! If you want to have a terrible time, eat cold food, get rudely dismissed by the staff, and wait two hours for two sandwiches, this is the perfect place for you! Never again in my life! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! THE WORST BK IN THE WORLD! IT'S DISGUSTING. I would have posted a picture of my order, but I still haven't received it after 40 minutes. I recommend the McDonald's next door.

06/03/2026: It's a bar that the people of Nîmes love. A wide selection of bottled and draft beers, you can have a snack there, and a mezzanine terrace provides coolness in the summer.

08/11/2025: Excellent meal, superb cheese and charcuterie platters! No complaints whatsoever, fast service, very friendly staff, and above all, fantastic value for money!! Generous portions at very reasonable prices. The daily desserts also looked very tempting. A lovely selection of wines perfectly complemented our dinner. We were delighted with our evening and hope to return!

The owner is very welcoming, charming, and helpful, attentive to his customers. A real pleasure. We wanted for nothing. The meal was very generous and absolutely delicious. 15/03/2026: My wife suggested we eat at Brasserie des Costières. I hadn't been before. I was pleasantly surprised. It's cozy and quiet, the decor is tasteful, and the food was delicious. The price is reasonable and very fair. The manager is extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back! Thanks again.

12/04/2026: An unusual place. I just stopped for a beer. Pint for €4. Friendly staff. I'll be back to try the food, but I've only heard good things.

07/04/2026: We waited 15 minutes on the terrace and no one came to serve us. My friend had to go inside to get our drinks himself. Disappointing!

02/12/2025: What can I say? The food was reasonably good, the service pleasant, the waiter was friendly despite his lack of formal training, and the dining room was empty while the other restaurants on the square were full. The value for money was definitely lacking. Two things really disappointed us. First, I asked the waiter what vegetables were in my dish, and he couldn't tell me. When we came back, we learned that the chef had gone home, and the waiter explained that the kitchen assistant was running the show. Second, we were refused an upgrade to a higher-priced menu because, and I quote, the waiter said, "I ask at the beginning because I don't know how to upgrade the menu when the bill arrives." So we ended up paying full price for a starter/main course plus dessert, even though a three-course menu (starter/main/dessert) was available. This is the first time this has ever happened to us.
