14/06/2026: Conclusion: Never again! I'll start with the positives: Great location Friendly servers (though 🤔) Fast service (for us; it wasn't the case for other tables) And now for the negatives, which are going to be much longer: The meat in the pie was pink, so let's just say undercooked pork isn't exactly a good idea! Same for the pastry, undercooked underneath. So I decided to eat what looked cooked with a little raw vegetable. When the waiter came to collect our plates, I asked him if I could have the leftovers from my plate, which was more than half, and he replied, "No problem, as long as it's not me who has to do it," smiling at his own joke. Since I was still hungry, I decided to order a blueberry tart, and there it was, same story: undercooked pastry!! But the icing on the cake was when I got to the till. The waiter apologized, but the person clearing the table threw away the remains of my plate—basically, 70% of my meal! Honestly, I could have accepted a cooking error that day, but for the waiter not even to ask if the dish wasn't appreciated, given that it went back to the kitchen almost as full as when it came out, is unprofessional! And I'm not even mentioning the fact that he was probably the one who should have wrapped up the leftovers, and that this clearly bothered him a lot. The bottom line: this dish cost me, at the very least, twenty euros for five bites...

21/10/2026: Excellent tarte flambée, with a special mention for the one with Munster cheese. The soup was also very good. Don't miss the homemade crème brûlée, flambéed right in front of you. The gourmet coffee was delicious too. Efficient and friendly service.

21/10/2026: Excellent – ​​the food, service, and atmosphere. It's especially good that someone dares to communicate this openly. Nobody likes the kind of clientele who order a meal for three, each with a small water, and then occupy a table for two hours. 👏

19/10/2026: I stopped by on a rainy day. The adults waited by the entrance with their umbrellas to prevent rainwater from getting inside, while the children chose what to buy. Perhaps because the floor was wet from the rain, the staff already seemed unhappy. In the food section, one of the staff members sprayed cleaning spray with great force at my middle school-aged child. The large bubbles from the spray were about to hit the children, so I immediately took them outside. Not only were we not allowed to sample any food, but my child was also warned not to get too close to the glass. We were just looking at what to buy, and the service was extremely unfriendly. I will never go there again.

18/08/2026: Friendly welcome, cold drinks. Just surprised to see the woman (probably the owner since she took the payment) picking up customers' cigarette butts left on the ground and throwing them down the drain. Thanks for the water bowl for the dog.

16/08/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent beer, and very good cheese. A small bar/restaurant away from the crowds, very calm and relaxing. A great little spot.

25/08/2026: First morning of vacation in this picturesque Alsatian village and first disappointment when tasting the pastries (croissants and pain au chocolat)... were they even fresh? That's the question: a bit dry, not very crispy... so different from last year. It's a real shame. The baguettes taste much more artisanal than the pastries. For our midday aperitif, we had pretzels, which unfortunately got damp, so we couldn't compare them to last year.

21/08/2026: Great bakery and very friendly staff. We enjoyed the (fairly priced) breakfast with great coffee and juice there every morning during our stay. The bread over the counter is also very tasty (minus the bretzel).

19/10/2026: I just visited this weekend Eguisheim, and chose for lunch this restaurant, had the daily menu(26eur), and I truly enjoyed it. Atmosphere- relaxed, there was only 1 waitress, so it took some time, but worth waiting. Staff was really nice, food delicious!! I ate beef and a local desert. Lovely, for me it deserves 5/5. That was a good experience.

08/10/2026: We had very disappointing experience with their service. The food was OK but sorbet was awful. The lady who served us as a group was so unfriendly and somewhat unprofessional that it looked like she never served people before, maybe because we did not speak French.
