06/09/2024: Nous avons reçu en cadeau un bon pour déjeuner à deux au restaurant l'alchemille.
Nous n'avions aucune idée préconçue, juste un peu de curiosité car le restaurant présente un site internet clairement "en dehors des sentiers battus".
Et bien bonne surprise !
Nous avons adoré le menu "layon" 10 senteurs que le chef a concocté.
de l'amuse bouche au dessert final, nous nous sommes régalés.
En conclusion, oubliez tout ce que vous connaissez des restaurants dits "traditionnels", gastronomiques ou pas, bistronomiques ou pas et laissez-vous embarquer pour un voyage au milieu des plantes et des fleurs savamment alliés à des légumes, poissons ou viandes et en fin de repas savourez l'eau de plantes, une tisane digestive délicieuse.
Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir bientôt et un grand merci à toute l'équipe qui est au diapason de la philosophie de la maison.

07/09/2024: We had a wonderful meal here. Although small (only four tables of two, the evening we booked), it was warm and welcoming. The hostess very friendly and the food was excellent. I had the meat menu and my partner had the fish menu. Both were delicious. The ‘hello from the kitchen’ was particularly lovely.

24/12/2023: Warm welcome, impeccable service for breakfast (did not try the restaurant), spacious and clean room. Hotel ideally located, quiet.
23/09/2023: The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is great, and the food in the restaurant is delicious (both breakfast and dinner). Mr. Camisa is a great host and we enjoyed his hospitality, and his good nature. Highly recommend this place!

04/09/2024: The terrace is the best thing about the restaurant. Unfortunately, the schnitzel and its breading were unseasoned and tasteless. The quiche, on the other hand, was really tasty, but at €16 we expected more than two forkfuls of salad as a side dish.

10/09/2024: Kayserberg is anyway an outstanding authentic location. But the ripp off ist allways present. I don't like it to pay amounts you pay usually not in you home area. Here you do only if you stupid or not in enough time to wait until a bigger competition is available . The food was not good the service not with pleasure but the Athmnosphaere in Kayserber ist allay excellent
29/08/2024: The tarte flambée was undercooked. And the comments from the waiter who is exasperated by customers asking him to cut their tarte flambée is not conducive to a five-star atmosphere (I quote they are annoying). It's a shame because the rest of the team was keen to do things well.

18/08/2024: Sunday August 18, 2024, after several days of heatwave, the weather decided to break down in Kaysersberg while we had planned to have a picnic with our 3 and 4 year old children: The owners and waiters had the rare kindness to allow us to eat our sandwiches on their terraces.
For our little ones, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

13/09/2024: Unfriendly restaurant. The moment the waitress saw that we were tourists with a baby she said they don't serve coffee after 11 o'clock. Walked by an hour later they actually served coffee to other guests.
Not recommended place. As soon as they saw that we were tourists with a baby carriage, they said that they don't serve coffee. Although they continued to serve after we left.

27/09/2024: First, I want to share my experience about the service.
I’ve been to many places and restaurants in France, so I understand the French culture and service.
However, at this restaurant, the service from the lady with short blonde hair was really terrible, disappointing👎🏻 no smile, no welcome, and she lacked a service-minded attitude.
In contrast, the young man was friendly and smiling, which was appreciated.
The foie gras was great, but everything else was just okay, nothing special.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but if you’re looking for good service and a warm welcome, this restaurant is one to avoid☹️
20/09/2024: Die Begrüßung war schon ohne Augenkontakt, luststlos uns zu bedienen, die Wartezeiten zu den Bestellungen ewig lang, das Essen war gut, aber der Service eine Katastrophe. Wir haben nach dem Essen über 35 Minuten auf die Rechnung warten müssen. Insgesamt würde ich sagen, das die Inhaberin auf deutsche Gäste keine Lust hat. Wir sind in letzter Zeit viel in Frankreich unterwegs und haben viele nette Franzosen kennen gelernt, das hat uns einen Schritt zurück geworfen, schade.
