21/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A fantastic restaurant right on the harbor. The food is excellent, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly and energetic. We had a great time. Highly recommended!
21/08/2026: We visited this establishment in Calvi today and, unfortunately, the experience ended on a rather unpleasant note.
I would like to emphasize that the waiter was very friendly, smiling, and pleasant, and I have absolutely no complaints about him.
However, I found the manager's attitude, from what we were told, to be very unprofessional and particularly unpleasant towards customers. My 3-year-old son accidentally knocked over a post from the terrace. We were then told that the rope cost €100 and the post €250. The way this was presented to us made me feel very uncomfortable, especially considering that a young child had simply accidentally knocked over something from the terrace.
As a customer, I think a little more understanding and customer service would have been appreciated. An accidental incident involving a child can obviously be reported, but the way customers are addressed matters enormously.
It's a shame, because the waiter was really very nice. However, the manager's attitude definitely left us with a bad impression.

21/07/2026: Unfortunately, the good reviews are about a year old, and it seems a lot has changed in that time. We were there with the whole family and ordered pizzas. The somewhat dingy atmosphere initially made us a bit suspicious, so we specifically asked if the pizzas were homemade – this was confirmed. Unfortunately, they turned out to be frozen pizzas, costing €15 each. When we spoke to the owner about it, he denied it, but we're 100% certain – it's a shame we were misled by the positive reviews.

05/08/2026: Very warm welcome from the staff, very friendly, I highly recommend this restaurant.
I recommend the sharing platter at €38 (all inclusive). Very generous portion for four people.

28/07/2026: If you‘re a tourist, don’t go here. It‘s just for locals. I paid 4 € for the most disgusting Cappuccino I had in a long time. They don’t have a price list so they can rip off tourists. DO NOT GO THERE!

11/09/2026: Appalling service and a complete lack of professionalism. As a cyclist, I simply asked for water – a right in France. The waiter refused to provide free water and insisted I buy some. When I offered to pay by card, he irritably refused. He then barely filled my bottle halfway and publicly humiliated me by sarcastically asking the other customers if they also wanted "just water."
A blatant lack of respect for customers, a disregard for French law, and a condescending attitude. Absolutely avoid this place. With such a welcome, don't expect to get any customers.
05/09/2026: I first came here in 2024 and have got my coffee here almost every day of my trip this year. It’s a lovely place for a coffee and a croissant in the morning. Perfect to read my book at the table inside. I’ve watched a lot of rude tourists being nasty while sat here and it’s such a shame. I feel the owner, Pedro, is misunderstood and doesn’t deserve these reviews of late. He has always been kind to me. He works incredibly hard and I think sometimes people don’t realise the damage a 1 star review can do. The two women who work here are really nice. The coffee is really good, it’s clean and service is quick. It’s cash only - so be prepared. Delicious pastries from the bakery next door also!

02/11/2025: To all people of foreign origin: Avoid this place at all costs!!!!
To make it clearer, I'm a local.
After I'd paid everything, the owner asked me to vote for Marine Le Pen or Bardella, even though I was with my husband, who is North African. He'd just been speaking to Bardella, so it was obvious he was North African, and visually there was no mistaking it.
It's outrageous! When you're a business owner, you keep your political opinions to yourself. At the very least, stand by them and don't take money from foreigners.
Luckily, we had a wonderful stay and were incredibly well received by the people of Balagne, because otherwise, what a deplorable impression you would have left us of this beautiful region.
02/11/2025: A disgrace. The manager is awful, speaks rudely to customers, and thinks he's above everyone else. A €15 ice cream that wasn't even worth €3—unheard of! No sense of service, no politeness whatsoever. You almost feel like you're bothering them when you pay. Avoid at all costs.

06/08/2024: Ottima cena, una delle migliori fatte in Corsica. Ho mangiato i gamberi in tempura ed il tataki di tonno, entrambi molto buoni. Servizio efficiente e personale gentile. Bella posizione nella piazza principale di Isola Rossa.

Qualité des mets et services irréprochable, les serveurs très sympa . Le cadre agréable nous y retournerons.

14/05/2026: The hotel has spacious rooms; however, access via the cobbled street is quite daunting with large motorcycles. The room is well-maintained, and the owner is very friendly. Breakfast is served outside, which is quite pleasant when it's warm, but when it's cold… It's ideally located for visiting Corte.

14/09/2024: Deuxième fois que nous venons déjeuner, rien à reprocher. Repas très bon : risotto aux gambas , super bon . N'hésitez pas à venir , prix pour deux avec apéro 60 euros .
13/09/2024: Bon Choix de carte, très bon, mais pour un bon mangeur ce n’est pas assez suffisant si activité avant.
Trois cannellonis ce battent dans l’assiette mais nous recommandons le veau au olives !

16/08/2026: An excellent experience! The mussels were absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor. 😍 And the view… simply magnificent, a true delight during the meal! 🌊✨ Special mention also goes to the exceptional service: warm, friendly, and attentive.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. I highly recommend it! ❤️
