28/07/2024: Today (07/28/24) we were at the Auberge Pietra Monetta. A sign said the auberge was closed. Permanent, it seemed.

26/09/2024: Dishonest ! Night reserved at 8 p.m. the day before the reservation by telephone and obligation to pay in advance even though it is the end of September out of season. Then Corsica ferries canceled our crossing the next day at 11am. I call the hotel to cancel directly and the manager doesn't even bother to call me back and sends me the cancellation invoice indicating that a refund is impossible. She added two lines suggesting that I send the bill to my Visa insurance whereas credit card insurance requires proof of illness, death of a loved one, etc. This was not the first time in this establishment and it will surely be the last. In peak season I would have understood but it is the end of September.... The worst thing is that the room was put back for reservation on their site and resold!!! We had planned to dine at the restaurant with a reserved table and we often come to Corsica but they won't see us anymore. Commercial = 0 and dishonest to line their pockets.

31/08/2024: Cadre magnifique et calme. Accueil aux petits soins. Le menu découverte en 6 étapes fut un moment délicieux. Les tarifs restent raisonnable pour un gastronomique. A découvrir !

28/08/2024: Dans le cadre magnifique du petit port d’Erbalunga ce restaurant situé directement sur le quai avec une terrasse en surplomb vous accueille avec déférences et sourires. Plusieurs menus à votre disposition pour une découverte au grès du chef. Belle adresse à faire découvrir à vos amis.

26/07/2024: Tout est parfait. Le cadre, l’accès, l’équipe et surtout les plats. La cadre est courte mais c’est signe de qualité. Nous avons pris le vin rouge d’un petit domaine à côté de Lumio, un délice. Nous avons passés un très bon moment en amoureux.

18/07/2024: Dîner sur la plage, à gauche les montagnes, à droite le coucher de soleil sur la mer dans la baie de Calvi. Choix de plats et vins très bien, plats succulents de l'entrée au dessert. Serveur au top, très agréable et qui s'intéresse à ses clients.

20/09/2024: Visit in September 2024 in the early afternoon. Warm welcome and excellent tasting. We left with a trunk full of local specialties. The view over Calvi is exceptional

19/09/2024: Welcome and friendliness. Exceptional tasting, a choice of house products from wine to brandies including nougats, fruit jellies, jams...etc. a visit not to be missed.

10/09/2024: Le Galion c’est une adresse incontournable lors d’une visite dans le Cap Corse, une cuisine simple mais efficace avec bon rapport qualité prix. Une bonne partie de la clientèle est locale ce qui est plutôt bon signe. Des soirées Corses sont organisées occasionnellement ce qui est très appréciable. Nous étions surpris de voir l’avis de Guylène ci-dessous mais en parlant avec le personnel nous comprenons que celui-ci est insensé puisqu’il s’agit d’une voisine aigrie fraîchement arrivée dans le village qui ne supporte rien, pas même sa propre personnalité mais elle préfère mettre des avis négatifs et se cacher derrière son écran plutôt que de venir s’expliquer. Cela en dit long sur le personnage manifestement connu dans le village et pas que… Pour notre part, nous habitons pas loin et sommes très heureux d’y venir régulièrement. N’hésitez pas à vous y arrêter et vous pourrez juger par vous même.

07/09/2024: Très bon restaurant situé proche de la mer. Accueil agréable, service efficace, plats bons et copieux. Le tout a des tarifs abordables. Je recommande.

24/08/2024: Accoglienza molto fredda , ordinato 3 piatti di tagliatelle alle Cozze , sapevano solo di panna di cui ne erano intrise, un piatto di sardine( specialita’ della zona) , tre sardine fritte servite con un misero contorno di carote zucchine (bollite) e insalata. Una bottiglia di rose’ ( buono) Non abbiamo preso piu’ niente, totale 98,00 euro. All’uscita la cameriera non ci ha nemmeno salutati! Grossa delusione!!!

03/09/2024: Es hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente und die Bedienung war überaus freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war top und das Essen sehr gut. Nur zu empfehlen

30/09/2025: We spent three nights at La Corniche. The welcome was warm and the location beautiful. Eating breakfast on the terrace is a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds; everything is perfect. The food is balanced and the ingredients are delicious and well-prepared. The superior room is charming, comfortable, and clean. The only downside is the soundproofing in the bathrooms, which needs to be improved. We recommend La Corniche to enjoy its charm and taste delicious food in a friendly atmosphere.

07/07/2024: De passage à Bibuglia, les pizzas sont excellentes et l’accueil très sympa. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Très bon rapport qualité-prix

23/09/2025: Small, old family-run hotel with a slightly Rococo style. The bedding is adequate, but the bathroom is tiny. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. Pleasant breakfast. Ideal hotel for someone who doesn't want to move and enjoy the beach just below.

18/09/2025: Very simple hotel but well located. A boss who takes great care of her customers, we will return.
