12/06/2026: **Getting ripped off at lunchtime 🫒😅** Tried it today at La Verrière in Boulogne. Verdict? A complete rip-off. I tried the chicken and mozzarella croque monsieur for €15.90. Frankly, it was bland and dry. Inside, the chicken tenders were cut so perfectly, down to the millimeter, that the industrial tray was practically opened in a hurry. Zero effort, wasted zucchini, a completely invisible béchamel sauce, and no seasoning whatsoever. The only positive point was the Poilâne bread: a nice gray crumb, nice and crusty, but it doesn't make a meal. To top it all off, the salad is… extra! Add a half-pint of flat beer (obviously from the end of the keg), and you end up with a total of €23.59 for two pieces of bread and three vacuum-packed pieces of chicken. In football jargon, we call that getting ripped off. Price-wise, the rest of the menu is outrageous: beef cheek for €26 (the cheapest cut on the butcher's counter, you have to hand it to them) and sea bream for €27. Then they wonder why customers are abandoning traditional brasseries for fast food… I'm only giving it 2/5 because the staff were okay and the terrace on the main square is quite pleasant for people-watching. You seriously need to rethink your approach, La Verrière. You can't serve mediocre food at the price of a near-Michelin-starred restaurant. It just doesn't work.

07/06/2026: If you're looking for a must-try restaurant, head straight to La Bonne Table. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Specializing in fish, this restaurant offers original, delicious, and incredibly fresh dishes. We began with the appetizer, a vegetable terrine served with burrata, an ultra-fresh and perfectly seasoned combination. The main courses were equally impressive: the whole sea bream, cooked to perfection, paired wonderfully with its vegetable lasagna, while the seared tuna steak with baby vegetables was a pure delight, as beautiful as it was delicious thanks to its delicate crispness. We concluded this wonderful meal with exquisitely refined desserts: a strawberry tart with a perfectly balanced tangy rhubarb compote topped with sorbet, and a perfectly caramelized vanilla crème brûlée. Beyond the food, the service was impeccable: a highly professional team, attentive and truly caring. A flawless and memorable experience. A place I wholeheartedly recommend!

08/07/2026: The bistro on the quayside, discovered by a friend, has become one of my favorite spots for a casual lunch or a business lunch, just a few minutes' walk from the Pont de Neuilly and very close to La Défense. The food, staff, and atmosphere are excellent. A rare find that I highly recommend.

The staff and atmosphere in this restaurant deserve top marks; we received a very warm welcome and the staff were attentive. As for the cuisine, it remains simple yet authentic and delicious. The menu is short, but very well executed, and every bite is a pleasure. If you're looking for a gourmet restaurant with all the trappings of fine dining, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for good, unpretentious food, a warm welcome, and a guaranteed good atmosphere, then go in—you've come to the right place. Congratulations on the wonderful evening you gave us. 04/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at Garden Colombes! We received a very warm welcome, especially from Sophie, who looked after us with such kindness. She's lovely, always smiling, and truly attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Lorenzo, who was also there, was charming and very professional. As for the food, we have absolutely no complaints: high-quality, homemade, and very tasty dishes. And above all, excellent value for money! Special mention goes to the lunch menu, which offers a delicious meal at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back! 😊

The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were all truly delicious. The thoughtful touch of the little petit four and the candle for my mother's birthday was wonderful.
