17/08/2026: Delicious dishes (the savory clafoutis and Bourdaloue tart were excellent), very professional waitresses who made room for me despite my lack of a reservation and the restaurant being almost full.

22/09/2026: A very good restaurant. The staff is very friendly, and the location is perfect for relaxing. The food is excellent, with a decent selection and high-quality ingredients. The only minor issues were with the service. We had to ask three times for water, one of our starters was forgotten (but this was quickly rectified in under two minutes), and there was a mistake with the sauce we ordered for one of our main courses. But frankly, these issues don't detract from the quality of the food or the friendliness of the staff.

21/09/2026: An address you absolutely must remember! The owner and staff are lovely, the food is homemade and delicious. We go there from time to time and are never disappointed. Being allergic to the allium family (garlic, onions, etc.), it's not easy to find good places that go the extra mile to offer you at least one or more options, and they do every time. Thank you again! PS: Hoping you'll be making your homemade foie gras and gingerbread again this winter!

16/08/2026: A very pleasant ambiance with high ceilings and comfortably subdued lighting in the evening. The service was exceptionally attentive and surprisingly quick. The food was also excellent: the kebab was cooked to perfection, the meat beautifully juicy, and the asparagus tender. A successful combination of a lovely atmosphere, good food, and efficient service.

05/08/2026: I like this place, however, I've noticed that the cleaning is a bit lax, with some houseplants covered in dust. Perhaps it's just a bit of a slump, maybe due to the holidays?.... Nevertheless, I'm sticking with the five stars because, quite frankly, there's nothing to criticize about the food or the service.

25/09/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place; we had a terrible experience. The place wasn't that busy, but they still took a long time to bring the food. My dish was a fish risotto that cost €25, and it arrived cold. For that price, you expect a good meal, and that wasn't the case. When we asked for the bill, they charged us more than the prices listed on the menu.

21/09/2026: Fantastic restaurant! I've lived in Montpellier my whole life and I didn't know about it. I took my in-laws there (they're Korean), and we had a wonderful meal with really professional, friendly, and helpful servers. I highly recommend it; the welcome was very warm. Thank you to them!

03/10/2026: A wonderful experience at La Réserve Rimbaud! We chose the lunch menu and had a very pleasant time. The setting is absolutely exceptional: a true haven of peace in the heart of the city, with a magnificent view of the Lez River. The staff is also very pleasant, attentive, and truly caring. We particularly enjoyed: • The fig dessert, simply excellent. • The bread, absolutely fabulous, served with olive oil: a simple but perfect idea. • The amuse-bouches, very well done. • And the small sweet treat offered after dessert, which provided a lovely finishing touch to the meal. I do have two small suggestions, simply to contribute to the overall experience: • Regarding the carpaccio starter, I felt that the crumbled egg ultimately added very little to the dish. A simple drizzle of olive oil on top would, in my opinion, have enhanced it much more. The railing could perhaps be redesigned. It's quite visually prominent and unfortunately obscures part of the beautiful view of the Lez River, which is a real asset of the restaurant. A glass railing would preserve this view while adding something lighter, softer, and more elegant. These are, of course, just a few personal suggestions, as the setting, the quality of the meal, and the attentive staff made this lunch a truly wonderful experience, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the entire team for this lovely meal.
