07/07/2026: Very expensive for the portion sizes offered. (Not enough fries, salad, etc.) Had to ask for water in glasses, no sauce provided. A good restaurant for tourists! However, the exterior is nice, especially the courtyard.

04/07/2026: Appalling service, it's hard to imagine anything worse… and yet they seemed to be pushing their limits 😅 Absolutely no friendliness, no sense of service whatsoever, and for the essentials of the meal (salt, pepper…), we had to ask the next table. Luckily, they were better equipped than we were. The restaurant experienced a brief rush of about an hour, apparently enough to turn the organization into total chaos: irritated glances, tension between servers, nonexistent communication… We weren't sure if we were in a restaurant or in the middle of filming a documentary about stress in the restaurant industry. The most entertaining aspect was undoubtedly the overall atmosphere: the “show” was clearly in the dining room, not on the plate. And to top it all off, a small mistake on the bill, like the cherry on top of an already slightly botched cake. Luckily, we checked, otherwise the experience would have included an unexpected extra charge. In short, an experience worth having… perhaps, but more as an observer than as a customer.

12/11/2025: We are disappointed with the afternoon opening hours; 3 pm is not teatime! Previously, we could enjoy delicious hot chocolates until early evening. It's a shame, because this place is very pleasant and welcoming, and there aren't many like it in downtown Blois. Would it be possible to reconsider your opening hours? Thank you very much.

29/08/2026: A bit disappointed, a tourist trap like in many tourist towns. An avocado and salmon salad that was, by the way, a mountain of salad with half an avocado, no presentation whatsoever. The main course was completely unpretentious: tagliatelle with salmon, served cold. And to top it all off, a "gourmet coffee" (help!), I've never seen anything like it: a pot of red fruit coulis? Plus three unidentified items. We expressed our dissatisfaction, but received no response whatsoever. 😡

28/08/2026: The location at the foot of the ramparts is ideal, and the setting is pleasant, especially in the evening. The two pizzas I ordered were very good. No complaints about the food. The service was efficient, with little waiting. The waiter was friendly, though not very smiley. When I went to the restroom, I was surprised by the lack of cleanliness in both dining areas and the restrooms. The atmosphere in the dining room was gloomy, even unsettling. Perhaps there was a problem with communication among the staff.

22/06/2026: This bakery was featured on the show "The Best Bakery in France" and it was a truly wonderful discovery. The bread is of very high quality!

08/04/2026: Avoid at all costs! Only the photo of the hotel taken from the front is accurate; all the others are completely outdated. It's a scam, and there's no pool, and the Wi-Fi doesn't work. The ground-floor room was cold and damp, heated by an old, noisy air conditioner—we had to turn it off at night in late October! There were huge dust bunnies under the bed, with a box for insects? What kind? I'd rather not know... dust everywhere. The bathroom had no heating, the pipes were starting to rust, and the shower was filthy. This place isn't even worthy of being called a hotel room. The dining room was dark with plastic-covered tables, and the food was definitely not 3-star. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

06/04/2026: A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival, like coming home to a holiday cottage. The generous and varied breakfast makes you want to linger. The location is ideal for fully enjoying the Beauval Zoo. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well-heated, and the secure parking provides true peace of mind. I highly recommend this place.

10/09/2026: An unusual spot by the water... A popular riverside restaurant we found online, with a tempting menu... Unfortunately, upon arrival, we discovered that the menu (with its many choices and all price ranges) was from the previous owner! The daily specials board offered few options, but the dishes were good, though overly generous and slightly more expensive. The mixed platter was for two people, not one, but this wasn't indicated. The table next to us was also disappointed!

16/05/2026: Excellent one-night stay at this very well-located hotel, just an 8-minute walk from Blois Castle. Lydia and Eliane are very pleasant and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The room was quiet, the bedding was comfortable, and the room and hotel were clean. We will gladly return. Couple with 1 child.

17/04/2026: It's really great: a buffet of appetizers, a choice of three main courses, a cheese buffet, and a buffet of delicious homemade desserts; wine and coffee included. The service was efficient, quick, and friendly. Well done, and keep it up!

06/06/2026: I came to pick up a Too Good To Go basket and I wasn't disappointed! I missed the collection time, but they made sure I could still get the basket! Fantastic. I highly recommend them!

27/05/2026: Horrible pastry shop! I bought a Tropezienne tart, the cream had gone bad, and I had to throw it away because it tasted and smelled awful. This is the third time I've tried to buy from this establishment (since it's close to my home), but it was definitely the last time. I do not recommend it.

17/06/2026: While visiting Beauval Zoo, we stayed at this hotel. The room was decent, very clean, with a large and functional shower room and comfortable bedding. Breakfast wasn't very varied for the price, but the dining room was very pleasant. The parking was very convenient, and there's a small garden with tables and chairs under the linden trees. It's a shame there wasn't a vending machine. Security was provided all night by a very friendly and professional guard. Disadvantages: the beds were poorly positioned in relation to the lighting, the room was dark, there were stairs to climb to reach the two upper floors, and there was a lot of traffic on the roundabout, so it was noisy if you left the windows open. Once closed, you could barely hear anything. Advantages: proximity to the park, and the same goes for Saint-Aignan, which is a lovely town with nice and affordable restaurants. The room price was a bit high, but it's Beauval. Go for it, it's still good and the cheapest hotel in the group.

15/06/2026: Hello, The rooms were clean and spacious, but there was a lack of storage space, as it wasn't available in all rooms. Breakfast was very meager; if you wanted more bread, it was absolutely impossible (a small basket with just enough for each person!). There was no still water that day. And for fruit, there were only a few apples and bananas, nothing else...
