30/08/2024: We hadn't been here for a few years and we were very disappointed. We have visited the place many times, in small groups or for family reunions, and it has always been a taste pleasure. Forced to see that the quality is no longer there. We ordered two sirloin steaks which tasted nothing like a sirloin but rather a sinewy piece of grilling. Impossible to finish. We asked for a doggy bag, and they gave us the meat in a ball in cellophane. The wine list mainly contains wines that are very easily found in supermarkets. Really limited value for money. The origin of the meats is not indicated. I was a little doubtful when we had dinner (and not lunch) for barely more money the next day in Fontainebleau with a good portion of local products or products whose origin was at least indicated. While a cooking error was reported on the neighboring table and the service was clearly long for a lunch, a service person ended up responding very coldly to the customer who was just worried about the clock that was ticking for her. I also asked to change my wine glass which was chipped in two places. The feeling of annoying the waiter clearly. It's regrettable in a town like Malesherbes that "The" good address is evolving like this.

04/08/2024: Hello following a search for a restaurant on a Sunday at 12 p.m. in Montargis we decided to stop at the restaurant la canteen which was a pleasant discovery welcoming and attentive staff small reduced menu just as I like I did not have time to take photos because we were very hungry and the service was fast the tasty dishes starters, main courses, desserts we enjoyed ourselves plus we had the pleasure of chatting with the chef after his service a very pleasant person and passionate about his job and which respects the seasons and works with local products everything that can delight our taste buds.

26/07/2024: It’s not so easy to find a good restaurant for an affordable price. So my 5 reflect a high value for money appraisal . My wife and i were cycling from Roanne to Nantes and in the evening we enjoy having good food and a service treating us with kindness and courtesy. This was well the case in this restaurant of Gien, a little outside the city centre (15min cycling from the camp ground) but a nice discovery. So this this Risotto with Merlu, topped with a thin slices of chorizo was not only daring but tasty. A the desert, with ricotta, an apple sorbet on a crispy chocolate was gorgeous. The room is unique, not only cosy as in a good English restaurant, but also valuable to discover the earthenware of the city. Vincent Lorant

02/08/2024: Bakery and pastry with a wide variety of choices, both sweet and savory, everything is always very good! I particularly recommend the financiers (plain, lemon, pistachio, morello cherry...), the croissants, the praline rocks, the numerous choices of fresh breads, but also the most elaborate desserts like the one in the photo with exotic fruits and raspberries. The young saleswoman is very nice, it’s very appreciable 😊 We really enjoy coming here. The store is accessible to people with reduced mobility and the doors are automatic.

19/07/2024: Excellent bakery. It’s a shame that the owner is so unsmiling, and above all absolutely not commercial 😕 Fortunately, for them, there is no real local competition and the staff is rather friendly.

27/07/2024: Unbeatable prices, nice bar and polite bartender. The bar tends to close earlier than expected, which makes it difficult to organize your evening, but that's forgivable since the bar is really great.

27/07/2024: C'est notre ami Bordelaise qui a choisi ce restaurant que nous Orléanais nous ne connaissions pas. Une très belle découverte en terme culinaire avec des associations de goûts intéressantes, produits de qualité et parfaitement cuisinés. Aucune déceptions sur nos choix à la carte et sur l'ardoise... L'accueil est sympathique et le service efficace et prévenant. A conseiller sans retenue.

02/09/2024: L'accueil est parfait, la cuisine est simple et bonne ce qui nous convenait pour un dîner imprévu, des serveuses très professionnelles et agréables. Nous pouvons juste regretter l'absence de produits locaux : bières et vins en particulier.

17/08/2024: Si manger est vital pour votre survie, allez y. Sinon passez votre chemin. C'est sûr c'est une brasserie pas un étoilé mais quand même. Quand on est blasé d'un métier, on peut changer. La vue sur la cathédrale est unique. Ça se limite à ça. Accueil pas franchement chaleureux du responsable. Il est courtois mais on sent vraiment qu'on est là pour manger, payer et se casser. Pas pour se faire des amis. Les plats (steack et saumon à l'oseille) étaient tièdes et sans assaisonnement. La viande mangeable sans plus. Le saumon ne m'a pas rendu malade, c'est déjà ça. Quant aux toilettes, je suis vraiment content d'être un homme. Immondes!!! mais il faut reconnaître que les utilisateurs sont également responsables.

09/11/2024: Le seul restaurant ouvert un lundi à Patay où je suis venu rendre visite à de la famille, les plats sont plutôt copieux sans raffinement , cuisine maison qui convient à la clientèle, plutôt des habitués travaillant dans le secteur, certe le prix est plus que correct pour les gros mangeurs ne regardant pas trop à la présentation,
