29/05/2026: I came in for a drink. They told me they weren't serving anymore while we were seated on the terrace. People arrived after us, and strangely enough, since they were lawyers, they were served without any problem. I didn't realize you needed a certain social status to be served in a bar. I'll never set foot in there again.

10/04/2026: As an occasional lunch customer, I've never been disappointed. A starter and main course for €20, excellent homemade food. Olivia, the waitress, is always attentive and always smiling. Thank you to the whole team! Fred

18/05/2026: The location is stunning and timeless; we were there in the autumn, and the colors and light were magnificent. The hotel's common areas have old-world charm: creaking parquet floors, a beautiful wooden staircase, fireplaces, and so on. However, this charm is somewhat less romantic in the rooms, with aging carpets, yellowed paint, and bathrooms that are in dire need of renovation. Aside from the comfortable bedding (the bed, in particular, was very large!), we didn't find the room up to 4-star standards. The spa area is pleasant, especially since we were the only guests. The hammam met our expectations, and the pool was clean and warm. The glass-enclosed space surrounded by greenery is very pleasant when the sun is shining. The massage was of very high quality, although it was performed in what was once a guest room, without any real effort to transform it into a proper wellness space. Finally, the restaurant was exceptional and more than reasonably priced for the quality. We regretted not having booked to return on the second night, the restaurant was full!

27/02/2026: I stayed overnight, booked at the last minute. The welcome was excellent and the food very good. The place is quiet with comfortable beds. I now have a new go-to place for when I'm in the Loiret (department 45) 😉

05/03/2026: Only one of the two servers is friendly. And I'm usually quite understanding. Whatever you do, don't ask them for information about the beers; it annoys them, even when it's not busy. I'm not asking them to be smiling at all (I couldn't care less...), just to answer one question. 28/04/2026: We came for lunch two days in a row, as a group of three, without a reservation. Even though it was busy when we arrived, they did their best to find us a table and we received a very warm welcome. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We recommend making a reservation if you can.

18/12/2025: PS: In response to your reply, you're clearly mistaken, and your response is typical of your establishment! I'm a man, so not at all the person you think I am. There were four of us... I work and haven't been unemployed since I was 17. So you're proving that your mentality is just like your little restaurant... completely awful. As for the nursing home, I'm only 40, so that can wait, but the food should be better than at your place, or at least the hygiene will be much better! We called to make a reservation at this restaurant... and here we are, only to find it's closed and we'll have to eat at the restaurant across the street. Why not mention this when we make the reservation? Well, the dishes seem to be the same, but we first have to wait in line for 15 minutes while the people in front of us order their takeout... The waitress didn't even bother to help, wonderful! We then ordered our meals, spitting like all the other customers onto the plates already laid out on the bar, waiting to be served, but right at the point where we ordered, paid, and so on... In short, the hygiene was simply appalling, as was the waitress who opened the large yellow bin from outside several times in front of us and then touched the bread baskets, plates, and cutlery. The food itself was still satisfactory, and the dishes were cooked as requested.

04/02/2026: It's a shame the advertised opening hours aren't respected. We went to a restaurant before arriving at Le Vieux Comptoir, and at 10 pm, the establishment was closed…

21/01/2026: Pleasant bar, friendly welcome, good beers and tasteful decor... Quiet environment

02/06/2026: Passing through on my motorcycle this Sunday on my way to Spain, I was welcomed by the very friendly owner. I left my motorcycle in the private parking area, which offered a view from my room. I recommend this simple hotel, which does the job as a stopover. However, finding dinner on a Sunday evening in Pithiviers was a real hassle... there's a Chinese restaurant further down the road, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

27/06/2026: The welcome needs improvement, as do the servers who seem inexperienced. As for the food, the 500g lamb shank had lost 50% of its weight during delivery, or perhaps it was dehydrated in this heatwave 😯

20/03/2026: A very nice place to eat, with a variety of good quality dishes. I recommend this restaurant and the price is reasonable.

10/03/2026: Meals served buffet-style, with pizzas and other dishes, at very reasonable prices (starter and main course for 16 euros). Judging by the number of people, the place is well-known!
