19/09/2026: We chose L'Anexe because the menu on their website looked good. However, the menu in the restaurant was completely different. We were very disappointed with our experience. The salmon was poorly thawed, with a still-cold center. As for the wine, we ordered a sweet white which was served dry. We ordered a second glass, and it was a completely different experience: the taste and color were distinctly different. When we pointed this out, the waiter insisted it was the same wine and the same bottle. After we persisted, he finally explained that the bottle had been open for two days, which would explain the difference. Given these issues and the high price, we do not recommend this restaurant.

17/10/2026: Very disappointed by our experience Last night, we came to this establishment, which is primarily a restaurant, to get two salted caramel crepes to go. Upon arrival, we asked what was available for takeout and were told there was no problem. So we ordered two crepes for a total of €13, or €6.50 each. For that price, we expected a minimum level of quality and care in the presentation. However, we received our two crepes wrapped in rather unsightly aluminum foil, handed directly to us. If we hadn't asked for a bag, we would have left with our two crepes in our hands, without even proper packaging. But the most disappointing part was the contents: once we got home, we realized there was barely any salted caramel in the crepes. The next day, we took the time to return to the restaurant to calmly explain our disappointment to the manager. Unfortunately, no solution was offered, no gesture of goodwill was made, just a curt "OK," as if our comment was completely unimportant. We can understand that mistakes or oversights can happen. However, when you pay €6.50 for a crêpe, you have the right to expect a properly filled product, a minimum of care in the presentation, and above all, a little consideration when a customer takes the time to point out a problem. Beyond the price, it is primarily the lack of professionalism and consideration for the customer that disappoints us. A regrettable experience, and an establishment we will not be returning to.

13/10/2026: The food was very good, and I even left an excellent review after my meal. Unfortunately, my experience is now marred by a payment issue that has remained unresolved for over a month. When paying through TheFork, I was charged twice, with an overpayment of €15.60 that I am still waiting to receive. Since then, I have made numerous calls and sent emails to the staff and management. Each time, I am promised a refund, but nothing happens. My latest follow-ups have gone unanswered. I can understand that a payment error can occur, especially when the staff are not fully familiar with the system. However, I don't understand how an establishment can let such a situation drag on for over a month, despite the customer's numerous attempts to resolve it. This is no longer simply a billing error; the way the complaint is being handled is deeply disappointing and disrespectful to the customer. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserved a much better rating. But customer service and the handling of payment issues are also part of the experience.

I simply pointed out that the indoor temperature was difficult for dining, and I asked that fans would be essential during this very hot period. She replied that her husband worked in 10 degrees warmer weather, so basically I had no right to complain! A completely unprofessional and idiotic remark...

04/08/2026: Super friendly hostess, located on a quiet street just outside the busy center of Saumur. Had a delicious meal, three-course menu for €35, fantastic value for money. Highly recommended!
