03/09/2024: Excellent food and friendly service

26/08/2024: Reservation made on a Monday lunchtime. Presentation at the counter. Waiting. A customer who pays his bill by walking past us apologizing. A welcome from 4 people who arrived after us. A direct placement. Finally a woman places us at an unfilled table. and tells us that there is no more special of the day. Fortunately there was a change of ownership. I pity the tourists.

08/07/2024: I've been there several times and I'm never disappointed. Very good cuisine, everything is homemade and served in more than generous quantities. We are very well received, we eat well, with incredible value for money (43€ for two with appetizers, main courses and desserts) This little bistro deserves to be known

13/06/2024: Traditional or exotic dishes, all quality with generous portions, a large choice of wines by the glass, pitcher or bottle. To test . Soon reopening in the evenings from Thursday to Saturday

27/06/2024: La PTITE ESCALE a remplacé QUAI 16. Depuis le 1er Juin 24 le propriétaire de L'ESCALE DE DIELETTE à racheté QUAI 16 à CARENTAN et l'a appelé LA P'TITE ESCALE par référence à son établissement principal. Il est midi, le soleil chauffe fort la petite terrasse sommairement aménagée. Quelques tables de plastique fendues ou bricolées avec des planches en aggloméré. Quelques parasols, mal disposés dispensent une ombre rare. Le menu très simple est affiché. Nous prenons l'entrecôte frite et le gratin de fruits de mer. Les plats arrivent froids alors qu'il n'y a encore que très peu de monde. L'entrecôte est acceptable mais les frites (de la veille ??) sont cramées et froides. De même que l'écrasé de pommes de terre qui accompagne un gratin trop sec. Le serveur est souriant, c'est déjà ça !! On est loin de L'ESCALE DE DIELETTE.

21/08/2024: Repas excellent. Choucroute de la mer parfaite et très goûteuse. Assiette de la mer excellente. Mention spéciale pour le poulpe grillé. Un délice. La vie est sublime. Petit bémol, les boissons sont très chères par rapport aux plats et à leur qualité. Mention spéciale pour l’équipe, jeune, dynamique, professionnelle. Nous avons passé un excellent moment.

16/08/2024: Idéalement situé pour profiter de la mer et des golfs à proximité. Très bien rénové avec une très belle salle de restaurant ouverte sur la mer ( la vue y est incroyable), le personnel est très sympa et très pro, le dîner délicieux avec un coucher de soleil sur la mer( mention spéciale au chef! ) Très bon spot, tout était parfait et on y reviendra assurément

23/07/2024: We had simply come to have a coffee, we left with the memory of a friendly moment as well as the joy of having encountered the generosity and joviality of the owner. Come and have your coffee, you will not be disappointed!

01/08/2024: Very cozy place with a large lake and indoor pool, petanque area and a cozy little restaurant. However, they only accepted cash, so be careful to bring cash. They are not very good at English, but they try and they are super nice. Will definitely come and visit them again....

28/07/2024: Magnificent manor and beautiful green spaces: very beautiful trees and two ponds, one smaller and bucolic with beautiful dragonflies, and the other, larger, surrounded by geese and ducks, with pedal boats.

04/08/2024: Unique location for a beach side restaurant serving great food from a varied menu. Relaxed atmosphere for a lunchtime break

25/07/2024: Le personnel est dynamique et accueillant. Les cocktails sont très bons, il y a autant de choix en sans alcool qu’avec alcool.

31/07/2024: We stayed 21 to 27 July. Our first stay at this hotel. A lovely hotel in an old manor house. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom modern and spotless. The meals were superb cooked to order using fresh local produce. Meat dishes were cooked on a wood burning fire in the dining room. Exceptional standards at this hotel run by people who care

01/01/2026: We tried the duck Pithiviers with foie gras, porcini mushrooms, and wine sauce. A real treat! The scallop terrine was perfect, and the yule logs were fantastic. I love your desserts 😄. We enjoy them every time. Thank you, and happy 2026!
