25/04/2026: From December 10, 2022, to April 24, 2026, I had the privilege of a wonderful experience at L’Édito in Reims. I would like to sincerely thank the two owners, the head chef, and the entire team for their trust and kindness. This period allowed me to gain invaluable experience, develop genuine skills, and create wonderful memories. Thank you for this shared journey.

12/03/2026: Very efficient and friendly service. Well balanced, good value menu. Nice wine list, mainly France but also some bottles from the rest of the world. We were there on a Wednesday evening and the place was full. Everything was perfect from the 1st moment.

The menu, both sophisticated and inspired, showcases carefully selected ingredients, enhanced by harmonious and surprising combinations. A true culinary signature shines through: bold flavors, impeccable cooking, and that extra touch that transforms a good meal into a truly memorable experience. The service and welcome are perfect. 10/04/2026: I'm writing these few words while still in the restaurant. A pleasant and friendly space to share with friends, colleagues, or family. The servers are quite friendly, especially the one at the bar named Jules. To pass the time, I opted for a bottle subscription for sweet wine. The background music is techno; the volume is neither too low nor too high, and for a Friday night, the atmosphere is just right.

09/04/2026: A superb welcome from Jordan Bardella, or Tanner Buchanan, whichever you prefer. The restaurant is called "The Experience," and it was a good one. One small complaint: I'm still waiting for my carafe of water, which was left alone, empty and unfilled, probably in the kitchen. I feel for that poor water that couldn't be drunk. Despite that, a superb experience, especially when you speak five languages!

19/04/2026: Do not come here if you are a foreigner. We noticed that a large group (10 people) of French customers got their food much faster than we did (5 people) even though we were there first. The service was VERY slow for us, even though we made a reservation. We were at the restaurant for over two hours, with a 45 minute gap between our main course and dessert, due to the slow service. The food itself was also underwhelming and flavorless for the price. We nearly missed our next appointment due to the unexpected wait time, and had to remind the staff about our food. One smaller complaint is that we asked the staff if we could sit at one of the available tables outside, and they told us we would only be able to eat our appetizers there, and then they would move us back inside. I have never heard of any restaurant like this…

16/04/2026: A delicious dining experience I chose the set menu. The white asparagus was delicately textured with an excellent sauce. The slow-cooked oxtail was tender, with a rich blend of red wine sauce and the fat from the beef marrow. The dessert featured lemon curd in a molecular form. Paired with a subtle minty coolness, the slightly noticeable acidity was refreshing.

22/03/2026: I've known this restaurant for over 20 years, but this weekend, for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday, we had an unforgettable and wonderful time! The food was exquisite, the welcome warm (thank you, Candice!), and the atmosphere truly festive. I highly recommend it for family gatherings! Well done to the whole team!

21/03/2026: I'm a regular customer, at least at the bar. The service is impeccable; however, it's impossible to park in front of the hotel. The parking lot is always packed with Uber/Deliveroo drivers. It's a shame for the hotel's image.

06/03/2026: An exceptional, timeless experience. The food was superb, the homemade foie gras absolutely divine. The tartares were simply unparalleled. And what can I say about Carole! A truly unique character who welcomes you with warmth and makes you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. A highly recommended spot. In short, 300 km is no problem for us; we'll be back.

12/02/2026: We went there for my partner's birthday on February 11th after receiving glowing recommendations, and I must say we weren't disappointed at all! It's a restaurant you absolutely must experience, especially if you're a tartare aficionado like me. Carole prepares them, like all her dishes, to order. I watched her prepare my tartare by hand in her kitchen from my table. Thank you, Madam, for this wonderful culinary experience that made our birthday evening truly special. See you soon. 12/03/2026: One of the best we found. Modest looking and wasnt a commercial highlight. Had very fresh assortment of oysters. Try the set with 3 types from different regions. Grilled crevettes & clams with pasley butter was very good. We came for the soupe de poisson and was not disappointed. I could have had 2 portions all to myself. Bon appetite!

07/03/2026: Excellent products (oysters & sea urchins), high quality and with a good selection. The price is what it is, but with reasonable consumption, it's worth it. Very good customer service with smiles and a friendly atmosphere, provided by Sylvain, Maëlle & Valérie (fishmonger). They and their colleagues are passionate about fish: they explain, inform, and advise. Thank you very much ;). I highly recommend it.

28/03/2026: We visited the Champagne City for a night and decided to pair our champagne with a Michelin-starred restaurant. The restaurant’s setting was quiet and the reception service was excellent. The starter was a delightful four-petite canapé and the langoustine soup, with its Asian fusion twist, was particularly enjoyable. The foie gras was also fantastic, perfectly complementing the soft bread. However, the quality of the mains declined. The scallop was flavourless and the beef fillet had an unpleasant, slightly off taste. The desserts were also mediocre. The exotic fruit sorbet and chocolate fruit sorbet were both fine and standard but the other dessert, which the waiter couldn’t quite explain, was disappointing. The bread was rock hard and the butter was cold, typical of French cuisine. It was difficult to blend the bread with the butter, so I recommend eating it separately. The service was also mediocre. The waiter couldn’t explain what each dish was, which was frustrating. Overall, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
