10/10/2024: A pleasant experience, the staff are welcoming & kind to my limited French, speaking more basic to accommodate me (thank you) I had burger & frites, a basic meal that can often be under rated, theirs was full with the delights of what a good burger should be, their frites accompanied the burger well. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, pleasant & all with a smile. I eat outside overlooking a square by the church taking in the passings of typical French life. Thank you for the experience.

16/12/2024: For a change this evening I wanted to try the beef bourguignon accompanied by potatoes. And there, big disappointment... the dish was tasteless, without seasoning, without color or liveliness. A dish equal to what a hospital canteen could serve. At almost €19 per dish (roughly what it would cost to make it yourself for 4 guests) it’s once again excessive. I have already tried several other dishes, but nothing works, it has little taste interest. The establishment enjoys a great location and takes great advantage of it to empty the wallets of customers wanting to eat at least for the amount they spend. I have had enough of this type of “restaurant”. To avoid

01/09/2024: If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I was in the area recently and needed a place to stay for 2 nights. I always research where I stay and this place had some really good reviews and of course a handful of not great reviews (like most places). I decided to stay here, and let me tell you the people who left ridiculously bad reviews clearly live a strange life. This restaurant/lodging was in every way perfect. And trust me, I travel enough to know good vs not so good! The rooms were clean and comfortable and just what I needed and the food was super. And talk about a nice atmosphere just to sit and hang out!!!! The owners were so accommodating and I enjoyed talking to them a lot. I recommend the chicken caesar salad and you can't go wrong with any of the burgers. This is a total diamond for locals and traveller's. Thanks so much for making me feel welcome and making it a great stay!

19/08/2024: We spent 1 night at the Black Dog, had dinner and breakfast. We were well received. The pub is cozy, you feel good there. Bedroom 5 is comfortable. The charcuterie and cheese board was plentiful and was enough for dinner, no need to add a burger....just dessert. Breakfast is complete and free if you book directly on their site. Thank you John for the little musical attention in the morning for us Metalheads passing through.

26/09/2024: Daily menu good value for money 14th we can't find it anymore!! For the rest friendly service fortunately the lady saves the day as well as the cook... The gentleman in the cap who received us should avoid making unpleasant comments, customers are not deaf... He almost took the plate away from our neighbor who was spoiling his plate, telling him you took the formula...what a lack of professionalism the room was filling up. Monsieur was in full stress, a shame to remain with this impression

29/09/2024: I called to make a reservation. Very unpleasant person on the phone. So I told him not to take my reservation into account. I don't have the slightest desire to set foot in a restaurant with rude staff!

28/08/2024: Family atmosphere in this pretty typical Breton house! Out of the way but worth getting there. We were very well received, small cutlery was spontaneously brought to our 3-year-old daughter who really appreciated the gesture. The crepes are very good. We had a great time during our stay in Morbihan

29/03/2024: Creative and well-balanced tasting menu with a selection of fish dishes beautifully presented. We had the wine pairing which was an excellent idea. Comfortable atmosphere, not too formal and not too casual. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
