12/05/2026: I highly recommend these new bakers. The baguette is good, and today I enjoyed a delicious almond pastry filled with pistachios, apricot halves, and almonds on top—a real treat! Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted by the generous portion; I ate it all myself! There's a large parking lot by the post office, which you can walk along the alley next to the Basilica, bringing you right to the bakery—just a short stroll before your delicious treat. There's also parking in front of the bakery itself.

29/07/2026: Really disappointed now, no more ice cubes for the water, so it's warm, no more potato noisettes on the menu, cooked carrots were cold, minced steak was cold… I no longer recommend it, huge drop in service quality.
16/07/2026: There are far fewer choices than in the past at this store.

31/01/2026: We hadn't planned a lunch break, so we stopped at 2 pm for some galettes and we weren't disappointed. The terrace had a lovely view, and the galettes and crêpes were delicious. The service was quick and the prices were very reasonable for the location.

09/08/2026: On vacation on the island. A wonderful experience! 😊 A big thank you to the waiter for his warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. The service was truly pleasant and attentive. And above all, kudos to the kitchen: delicious dishes, beautifully presented and prepared with care. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! 👏🍽️
08/08/2026: The terrace is nice, the prices are reasonable, but there isn't much choice.
Personally, the mussels marinière were good (nothing complicated), but the homemade fish and chips my wife ordered (see photo) looked like canteen food and was frankly dry, tasteless, and completely uninteresting… €19.
The service is rather haphazard, but they're young and friendly. When you eat out on vacation, you expect much better, especially since there aren't 50 restaurants in Le Palais… so why would they bother trying to do better anyway? We're from Brittany, and Belle-Île has been trying to be like the French Riviera for a few years now, with all its drawbacks.

19/05/2026: We had a package for two nights including breakfast and dinner. The first evening, there wasn't much available despite the menu. Those who arrived last had no choice left. The quality of the food was very poor, except for breakfast.
The next day, we didn't have dinner because apparently they hadn't received their delivery and had no supplies.
The room was adequate, but it hadn't been cleaned. There were problems with the access badge every evening... The management was absolutely terrible; the worst Campanile I've ever stayed in!

30/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome! The menu was adapted to my dietary needs, the service was quick, the atmosphere was calm, and we enjoyed both of our meals :)
27/10/2025: Delightful little bar. We retired to the first open place on a Lundi, and stayed for 3 drinks and some fries waiting for the ferry.
Waiter excellent, good drinks, and very entertaining selection of locals and staff.
Would come back to the island just to have a few drinks!

23/06/2026: Team drinks (20 people), we could only order from one server (otherwise it was too complicated), who took a good 20 minutes to bring 5 drinks.
The owner is very unpleasant. He brought us two plates of fries by mistake, then took them away to put them on the right table even though we had already helped ourselves. When we pointed this out, he replied, "Yes, but you used a fork, right?" No, you used your fingers. "Oh well, never mind then," he said, and left them on the next table.
At the end of the evening, with a bill over €1000, they refused to serve us two more beers... In short, avoid this place.
20/06/2026: After 45 minutes at the table, the waiters still hadn't come to take our order. We gestured to them, but they seemed to be avoiding us or pretending not to see us… We finally went to another restaurant.

The service wasn't up to par either: the waiters barely spoke, making communication difficult.
The restaurant was completely empty when we were there, creating a rather oppressive atmosphere. It's a real shame for an establishment that is otherwise very well located. If you're passing through Carnac, avoid it.

Furthermore, the ingredients are placed on top and therefore not cooked inside, which significantly alters the final taste.
The portions could also be more generous.
25/10/2025: We used to come here a few years ago. The reviews didn't seem very good, but we went back anyway.
We didn't regret it.
The welcome was warm, and the owner is very friendly and accommodating.
We'll definitely keep going to Epidor!

05/04/2026: Sorry, but this was a very disappointing experience. The meal was not worth the price! Our plates were sent back to the kitchen almost full because it was so bad. We felt like we were bothering them! The waitress shouldn't confuse efficiency and speed with what customers might perceive as aggression. We hadn't even finished our aperitifs before our main courses were already on the table... The desserts were also underpriced... We paid almost 20 euros more than in other restaurants for a comparable meal!!!

I highly recommend them; they deserve to work.

12/07/2026: Refusing access to the toilet to a woman eight months pregnant in 37°C heat... I quote: "Everyone has a good excuse to use our toilets." That says it all...
25/06/2026: Avoid this place at all costs. They refused to let a pregnant woman use the toilets during a heatwave unless she paid. The owner's welcome was extremely poor, even aggressive. With the public toilets in the square out of order, there were few other options.
However, the service at Coffee and Co, just a few meters away, was excellent!

14/06/2026: One star because zero isn't an option. I went to the shop as a regular customer. When I arrived, the young man and the woman working there asked me to remove my one-star rating on Uber Eats because I had ordered repeatedly, and each time the bubble teas were undersweetened and too small, even though I constantly specify this on the app. This instruction is NEVER followed. I gave one star to express my dissatisfaction. This time, I went to the shop to get a bubble tea, and I HAD to come back from home to have them sweetened and refilled because they were undrinkable. Returning to the shop, the lady insulted me in Vietnamese while speaking to her colleague, thinking I didn't understand, because her colleague had retorted that my ratings were a problem because he was losing money because of them, when all you have to do is make the orders correctly, on the other hand, when the boss is there the orders have no defects and the staff are very friendly when the boss is there.

The portions are too small, which didn't surprise me given the reviews.
They sell bubble teas only half full, and when you ask them not to rip you off, the cashier pretends not to speak French, even though she speaks it fluently! Avoid this place; the service is disastrous.
