13/03/2026: Well, probably one of the best lamb shanks that I’ve eaten. But the music is really loud so it’s hard to have a normal conversation. Also, we’ve spotted a little cockroach running at the side of the bar counter. Please consider changing those wooden chairs as back supports in them are absolutely horrible.

22/03/2026: Excellent in every way. The Welsh rarebit and the Carbonnade were very good. They readily offered a Welsh rarebit without ham for our vegetarian friend and adjusted an appetizer so we could share it. The staff were very friendly and fun, truly welcoming. The cocktails and desserts were also very good, with just the right touch of originality.

28/02/2026: A fantastic restaurant! My boyfriend and I came on February 28th with a reservation for our first meal out together, and we were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered a Flemish carbonnade and a Paris-Lille, and it was absolutely delicious! The bread was also incredibly good! The waitress was very friendly, and despite being seated next to the restrooms (which was our choice), there were no smells or problems at all; everything was spotless! I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back to enjoy another delicious meal and share it with my friends and family. 🥰

10/02/2026: A varied menu with vegetarian options. Reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. My only complaint is that my hanger steak, ordered rare, was served medium-rare. I'll be back to try the other dishes, which look good.

15/02/2026: A bizarre experience this Saturday, February 14th. While not regulars, we frequented this charming restaurant in Old Lille. Nothing exceptional this Saturday about the main course we chose, a rather hearty waterzooi made with chicken breast, but it was lukewarm and indefinable. The dessert, a profiterole, but the choux pastry was straight from the freezer! What really ruined our meal was our terrible seating. It felt like we were in a very noisy TGV carriage with a constant flow of passengers (the staff, customers getting on and off). The waitress, however, was a good professional. The owner (the new manager) didn't really appreciate my comment comparing his restaurant to a canteen.

15/12/2024: We couldn't wait to discover this much-vaunted place. We came for brunch. The plates are not very garnished unlike the photos I saw online... sweet plate with 1/2 teaspoon of granola, 1/2 teaspoon of cottage cheese or yogurt and a slice of chestnut cake and a very small portion of memory compote…. Cold savory plate too bad because the cold fried potatoes are not extraordinary but we nevertheless had a good time. So slight frustration but we will come back for a second attempt because it may have been an end of service or an “off” day….

15/12/2024: A perfect place for a winter brunch. The Christmas atmosphere and all these plants give the room a cozy atmosphere. The food was also excellent!

30/03/2026: Ideally located near the train station, this brasserie offers generous, high-quality cuisine at reasonable prices. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming. A sure bet in Lille.

09/03/2026: This is a fabulous, authentic French bistro. The setting is welcoming, relaxed and comfortable. The service was really friendly. But the exceptional part was the food. We had Moules Frites and Flemish beef stew. Both were freshly made. Both tasted amazing. Then we had Creme Brule and Chocolate Fondante, both also freshly made. Again the taste was superb. This is a very highly recommended restaurant that will give you a fabulous taste of France.

29/11/2025: The food was excellent: fresh ingredients, clean flavors, beautifully plated. The service, however, was unprofessional and abysmal. After the fish course, the dirty plates sat untouched for 45 minutes, until I finally bussed them myself because they smelled. I had to wander the restaurant to find the server and ask for the check, cancelling dessert. When I said I shouldn’t be charged for a dish I no longer wanted, the waiter snapped, “You chose it, you pay for it.” This place is not worth it.

25/11/2025: A well-deserved 5 stars. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything was perfect. The ingredients were very fresh, local, and chosen according to what's available at the market. Not to mention the very friendly welcome and impeccable service. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must go.

06/03/2026: Excellent meal, simple but incredibly satisfying! Perfect value for money. The waiter was very friendly and efficient despite the restaurant being full. I highly recommend it.

08/02/2026: I was craving a good coffee, there was a slice of homemade pie left, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, there were restrooms, the atmosphere was relaxed, the homemade food was original, and the decor was natural with mismatched chairs. Don't hesitate to go in; you'll want to come back. There are a few tables set up outside, which is lovely.

02/02/2026: Excellent experience! We arrived after other customers had finished their shift, yet the team continued to welcome and serve us with a smile. They accepted our dog without any problem, which was a real plus for us! The service was quick and attentive; we were offered drinks whenever we needed them. The staff was pleasant and professional. A great place to eat.
