14/06/2026: Words cannot describe this stay. Perfect doesn't even begin to cover it. The rooms are clean and functional, and the welcome was extraordinary: kind, smiling, and attentive. Bravo to the team! The restaurant offers excellent value for money. Breakfast offers a wide selection of high-quality options. A place to know and share! I recommend it 100%!

08/05/2026: The food is very good; recently I had a ribeye steak, warm Camembert, linguine with shrimp, etc. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it's a pleasant place.

02/05/2026: If I could have given zero stars, I would have. When you can't manage an establishment administratively, you can't expect the food to be up to scratch! You urgently need to review the visibility of your opening hours; absolutely nothing is accurate. We're wasting our time!

16/06/2026: We went there as a family for lunch, as we hadn't been to this restaurant before. We ate at a large, spacious table on the enclosed terrace; the setting was pleasant and well-decorated. Above all, it was a delight from start to finish! The portions were generous, the food was 100% homemade, and the waitress was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, especially the préfou (homemade, of course!), and the daily special, which changes regularly. I highly recommend it. Thank you again for your wonderful welcome, and best of luck for the future.

19/06/2026: Fantastic food with a wild mushroom theme. The bedrooms are fantastic and very well prepared. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here with our dogs who are made most welcome and we will be back.

28/05/2026: Beautiful quiet location not far from the center of town. Excellent rooms and fabulous parking accommodations. Friendly and accommodating staff, dog friendly, and not to miss restaurant. We will come back.

23/08/2026: I chose the filet mignon, and honestly, it didn't look anything like what I expected. Lots of tough, fatty bits, which you don't find in filet mignon. The children's menu is best avoided. For €12, you get a small portion of pasta gratin and a scoop of vanilla ice cream; no choice of flavor... Very limited in my opinion.

25/08/2026: Objectively, the food wasn't good, the service was incredibly slow, and the coffee was awful—did we drink tar? The salad was clearly not fresh, anyway... The mojito had three pieces of crushed ice. Frankly, this restaurant is a disaster. Luckily, we desperately needed to eat because, honestly...

22/05/2026: A fantastic lunch stop for us during our Bayeux-Vire cycling trip, a famous stage of the 2025 Tour de France. The owner also cycled this stage in 2025, so we were on the same wavelength. This is crucial for me, but it was entirely a happy coincidence, because the restaurant itself lived up to expectations. Excellent food and impeccable service in a simple yet bright setting. A wonderful day!

28/04/2026: We didn't stay at this hotel as it was fully booked, but at 10:30 PM, after being turned away with a reservation from the Brit Hotel in La Ferté, we were redirected to a bed and breakfast known to the staff. So, for the quality of service provided, it deserved a review! Thank you

15/06/2026: Our go-to lunch stop on our way to our holiday destination. Never disappointed. Always a warm welcome with a smile, even when we've forgotten to book. We usually take advantage of the daily menu, which is very comprehensive with buffet-style starters. The portions are generous and the service is very friendly, with hosts and hostesses who go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. Parking is right next door.

14/05/2026: We came on Saturday at lunchtime, a party of three. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile. The waiter who took our order was professional and excellent with our son. The plates were generously filled. The sauce served with the duck was delicious, and the fries were perfect—not greasy and crispy. We were served by their trainee. What I appreciate about this restaurant is that the team enjoys passing on their knowledge (trainees, apprentices). Mr. G is a good cook. We will be back.
