25/02/2026: A very good experience. We went there for lunch. At €13.50 per person, it was worth it. The staff was attentive and friendly. We ate very well and left feeling satisfied. For the starter, there was an all-you-can-eat buffet, which was very good; however, the potato salad was frozen and had a strong frozen taste. For the main course, I ordered leg of lamb, and my companion ordered grilled sirloin steak. The meats were tender. As for the sides, I chose pasta, which wasn't great, and the fries needed a few more minutes of cooking. We didn't have dessert because we were so full. In short, the dishes at this restaurant are similar to those served in a brasserie or even a roadside diner. I recommend this place and will definitely return.

14/02/2026: Once again, we are more than satisfied with L’Entracte for its warm welcome, delicious food, and the kindness of Amelie, Jordan, and Anthony. The portions are always generous and filled with high-quality ingredients. All this at very reasonable prices. All this to say that I recommend it 100%! 20/11/2025: By the grace of heaven and the nobility of my mission, I rode swiftly to Saint-Hilaire-de-Briouze, seeking sustenance for my valiant body and loyal spirit, for I was bound to serve His Majesty with vigor and promptness. My steed, a noble and faithful companion, panted with the strain of the journey, and I halted at a place called La Pommeraie, demanding to be served a meal without delay, for my duty called. From the moment I entered the hall, I demanded the largest portion available, for a knight on a mission for the king could not be satisfied with a meager ration. The lady of the house, with her firm and decisive manner, presented the dishes to me diligently. I was first astonished by the plates, as clear as the water of Norman streams: never in all my travels had I seen such a miracle, and my knightly eye lingered upon them, convinced they were made of enchanting crystal. The beverage that accompanied my feast was so exquisite that, seized by ardor and boldness, I offered to buy the entire cask for my long rides across the kingdom. But the lady, wise and tenacious, refused to yield to my gold coins, thus preserving the secret of her culinary art for future generations. Each bite, each sip, was a source of delight and invigoration for me. The cooking of the meats, the aroma of the herbs, and the care lavished on each dish testified to a mastery worthy of the finest kitchens in the kingdom, comparable to the banquets served at the court of Philip Augustus and the feasts of the city of Rouen. I left La Pommeraie with a full heart and a joyful soul, vowing to myself that I would speak of this establishment to His Majesty and to all the lords of the Court, so that the lady might be honored and, perhaps, called upon to serve at the castle, so perfect is her art and so worthy is her hospitality of a noble knight.

23/02/2026: Having a coffee at Paul's is very pleasant. The service is quick, and the waitress, a petite blonde, is very pleasant, smiling, and very polite. The pastries are excellent; I highly recommend it.

22/03/2026: Not great at all. You make a reservation for several people, which is clearly noted on the table, but nobody seems to know. The staff isn't very friendly, except for the two young waiters who do their best but get yelled at in front of the customers. It's not easy for them, though, because there's a real mess with the tables. You order a Leffe Ruby, and they serve you a Leffe with poorly measured strawberry syrup – that's not what a Leffe is supposed to be. The meal consisted of an undercooked andouillette sausage and a dry goat cheese and honey pizza with more honey than goat cheese. It was my first time there, but I'll be disappointed again.

21/03/2026: The waiter on the terrace was unpleasant, unfriendly, and unwelcoming! He asked for a table for four and was spoken to so coldly and unkindly. Very poor for a restaurant in this beautiful city. For that reason alone, I strongly advise against going there!

23/02/2026: Excellent food, very pleasant service, and a beautiful view. A wide selection of dishes, each more delicious and generous than the last. I particularly recommend the sauerkraut or the rib-eye steak!

01/02/2026: A family dinner where we were cold, and the waiter was unprofessional (no offer of an aperitif to start, barely had time to look at the menus before he was already at our table taking our orders, he dumped the plates haphazardly on the table, neglecting to serve the women before me, we witnessed an argument between him and one of his colleagues in the kitchen...). In short, not very professional. There was no hot chocolate with the dessert as indicated on the menu. It had been a few years since I had eaten at this establishment and we were very disappointed.

17/03/2026: Excellent local cuisine made with fresh ingredients; we enjoyed the roasted Camembert and the burger, both delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient.

12/02/2026: I've rarely seen such a meager breakfast buffet. The bread was stale, the coffee was rationed, and there was no one to even refill a bottle of water. The rooms are very outdated; only the mattress is decent. It's not good value for money.

16/02/2026: We'd barely arrived when they started pressuring us to order. The service was disorganized; all the servers were busy with every table. We barely finished our plates before they swept us away, and two minutes later, dessert was on the table. We barely had an hour to eat a Valentine's Day meal, and we were practically eating with a slingshot, all for a €42 menu—pathetic. (P.S.: A Valentine's Day cocktail in a whiskey glass with a plastic straw—not very glamorous.)
