29/04/2026: Extremely disappointed. The waiter came to take our order for aperitifs and main courses, and we were served our main courses and aperitifs afterward 🤦‍♂️ I ordered a pink duck breast, which was overcooked. My partner ordered a rare steak, but it was cooked to a medium-rare state, with no blood at all. The foie gras, which used to be excellent, was now awful. Even supermarket foie gras would have been better; it had no taste whatsoever. Truly disappointed 😞

21/04/2026: We've dined at this restaurant several times and it's always a real pleasure! The food is truly excellent, the dishes are delicious and generous. The staff is extremely pleasant and welcoming, which makes each visit even more enjoyable. It's the kind of place you want to return to again and again. I love it!

The setting is unique, the decor modern and original, and the restaurant menu deserves two stars: everything is refined, beautifully presented, and served by a highly professional team. 29/03/2026: Cooking workshop, without the originally planned Michelin-starred chef. The goal was to create a meal. We shopped for ingredients and created a menu centered around guinea fowl. The kitchen was lovely, with very clean staff, and the meal was prepared with the restaurant staff. There was a pleasant atmosphere among the guests, who were of high quality. However, for the meal itself, it's fortunate there was good mushroom butter, because you shouldn't be hungry. The portion on the plate was tiny. As for the drinks that were supposed to be included, there were only two small glasses of wine with the meal. (Good thing we didn't lose any points on our driving license!) This is unacceptable considering the price the girls paid for my Christmas present.

28/04/2026: Great restaurant with a very friendly young waiter. Our little girl especially enjoyed her duck mousse (a nice change from children's meals). The dishes were beautifully presented. Good value for money.

28/03/2026: The cook is an artist, and her dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious and generous. The old oven is definitely worth a detour, a long detour even! Lovely table setting, lovely tableware. In short, the old oven is a must-visit. Reservations recommended.

04/05/2026: On March 30th, I had the opportunity to stay at the Roc au Chien Hotel. It's an excellent place for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The hotel stands out for its warm welcome and attentive staff. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated, offering a cozy atmosphere ideal after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is well-located, providing easy access to the main points of interest while remaining in a peaceful setting. The breakfast is varied, with fresh products that allow you to start the day off right.

26/03/2026: March 26, 2026: A wonderful welcome from the moment we arrived. Pleasant service with a friendly waitress who took excellent care of us and even our dog, who was spontaneously offered a bowl of water. The meal was very good, the meats cooked to perfection according to our preferences. The courses arrived smoothly and at a leisurely pace. We will gladly return.

20/04/2026: A delightful discovery! This charming inn is beautifully decorated with paintings and children's drawings. The bistro cuisine is delicious and homemade; the delicate floating island dessert left a lasting impression!

The welcome was warm and attentive, the ambiance of the dining room with its lit fireplace was magical. The cuisine was simply delicious; the dishes were creative and flavorful. And to top it all off, the local Calvados was a delight, a true tribute to Norman tradition! Excellent value for money! We highly recommend it!"

15/04/2026: After several stays at this hotel, I'm taking the time to leave a review. The location is good, on a direct route to the city center with immediate access to the highway. Regarding the reception and the staff in general, everything is impeccable. The person who greets us (both morning and evening) is always attentive, helpful, and kind to guests, demonstrating impeccable professionalism. We could stay in other places, but just because of you, we always book this hotel. The presence of the restaurant is a plus. The menu is simple and varied, and the service and cuisine are perfectly executed at a reasonable price. One small drawback: the soundproofing could be improved. Several times, I had the impression that someone was about to enter my room when it was just the neighbor opening their door. Also, the bathroom fans transmit noise from the neighboring rooms. But overall, a very good stay, rested and ready for work! I recommend this hotel 100%

09/04/2026: The restaurant is a real gem. The food is homemade, and I particularly enjoyed the red mullet fillets with homemade sauce. The quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable. And the service is excellent. We'll definitely be back.
