15/02/2026: After searching extensively for a Valentine's Day dinner, finding only set menus at other restaurants that didn't appeal to us, we finally discovered this very tempting menu. So there we were that day at this little restaurant, greeted with a warm smile, just the kind we love and that's becoming increasingly rare (as former restaurateurs, we really appreciated it). The meal was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We'll definitely be back as soon as possible. 17/12/2025: We arrived late for lunch (almost 2 PM) and were still welcomed, which is quite rare at that hour. The salmon and fries were really good (there was hardly any wait) and the staff were welcoming and smiling. Special mention for the chocolate ice cream, which was a real treat! We'll definitely be back on our next visit; I highly recommend this restaurant!

21/03/2026: We came for lunch without a reservation. The waitress politely informed us that a reservation was necessary. We accepted this. At that moment, the owner burst in, made it clear he was overwhelmed even though the restaurant wasn't full, and unceremoniously ushered us out. The owner was very unpleasant and didn't smile. When you provide a service, it's essential to be pleasant to your customers. Because a smile is the customer's best reward.

The establishment offers a friendly atmosphere and the service is adequate, if not exceptional—a professional and polite welcome. 🍽️ The Dishes Tasted I composed my meal as follows: • Starter: Beef Cheek Ravioli • Verdict: The dish was decent. I found the preparation a little greasy, but the flavor of the beef cheek was definitely there. • Main Course: Game Specialty • Verdict: The dish was good, although I left with a slight regret. I should have chosen the scallops, which looked very appetizing. • Dessert: Walnut Creation • Verdict: A very good final note! The dessert was very good and well executed, a delightful discovery. 💰 Value for Money Overall, the quality of the dishes is excellent. However, I do have a slight reservation regarding the price. In my opinion, the quality/price ratio is perhaps a little high considering the overall experience. ✅ Conclusion A good meal overall. If you're passing through Mortagne-au-Perche, this is a place that offers quality dishes.

06/02/2026: Passing through Flers for work, I stumbled upon this brasserie. It was excellent! Refined, delicious, and generous portions. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.

17/02/2026: The restaurant was packed on a Saturday lunchtime; luckily, we had a reservation. The wait was incredibly long, but the servers were excused—there were only two of them, they did their best, it wasn't their fault. Perhaps it's difficult to recruit new staff; we only have 5 million unemployed people! We arrived at 12:00 and left at 1:40 PM for the three-course menu, without an aperitif or coffee—it was far too long! Otherwise, excellent value for money.

15/02/2026: Another stay at this inn. This time for Valentine's Day. The special meal was excellent, the service impeccable. The staff were incredibly attentive. A peaceful night in a comfortable room.

Even those who are never satisfied will find it difficult to criticize if they are acting in good faith. In conclusion, if you are passing through Val au Perche, stop by.

21/08/2025: The best restaurant in Flers, as far as I know. Carefully prepared cuisine at reasonable prices. Always delicious and never disappointed! And very friendly service. And a pleasant dining room with careful decoration. Always an island of well-being at lunchtime when I go to Flers!

25/03/2026: We appreciated the charm of the Relais Saint Louis, which two centuries ago was already welcoming travelers on horseback or by carriage. The place has retained the authenticity and hospitality of inns of yesteryear. Olivier Vallée, the current owner, has managed to modernize the establishment while preserving the understated charm of a good regional inn. Not forgetting the charming "English bar" where we enjoyed an aperitif. We dined by the large fireplace.

23/03/2026: The room was decent and comfortable, very well located! The breakfast was adequate, with everything we needed.
