24/02/2026: What an amazing bar! This was my first dinner in Bayonne and I was never disappointed. The tapas of Jambon Bayonne and cheese were awesome. The staffs were incredible warm and welcoming too. I saw many locals visiting the bar, which was no doubt. 100% recommended to anyone. It’d be difficult to find a table in the dinner time so reservations might be better, in particular if you are a large group.

11/02/2026: We came for lunch on Friday. The terrace wasn't full, yet we waited a very, very long time for our food and had to leave after an hour and 45 minutes without dessert to get back to work. When we got up, we told the waitress we wouldn't be having dessert because it was taking too long, but we received no response. Very disappointed, as the restaurant is well located!

20/01/2026: A small, friendly restaurant with a welcoming waitress. The food is served quickly, and the portions are generous and delicious. An ideal spot for food lovers, but also perfect for lunch between meetings.

01/03/2026: Last Friday we had the set menu with a starter and a main course. The starter was a crispy vegetable and cheese dish with a pepper sauce, which was delicious. Beautifully presented and very tasty. The main course was a piece of hake on rice with vegetables and a fish sauce. We were served by a young man and woman who were incredibly kind. We don't speak French, and they made a real effort to communicate with us. Much appreciated. Delicious food, very well presented, and a great atmosphere. You couldn't ask for more.

27/02/2026: Right in the heart of Bayonne, next to the market and the river. Very attentive, efficient, and friendly service. The establishment has a large terrace for eating and/or having drinks, and a few tables inside. They offer a varied menu and a daily special for €12, a half menu for €15, or a full menu for €18. Drinks are not included. The food is well-prepared, beautifully presented, and the portions are generous. It's a very pleasant place to eat when the weather is nice. Good value for money.

27/02/2026: The fish dish and its accompanying peas were served cold, even though it was the set menu. The fish and peas were bland, and a generic sauce was served on the side. The upstairs dining room is very noisy. If you want a good meal, go somewhere else.

27/02/2026: Excellent location at the foot of the Pont Saint-Esprit, a well-situated restaurant! We tried the daily special, Mont d'Or cheese, and a gourmet salad with foie gras. We had a very good meal! Fast service Friendly staff

09/02/2026: Very good experience. The place quickly becomes noisy due to the behavior of some customers... but the establishment isn't responsible for that... the food is very good.

06/12/2025: To begin with, it took them 45 minutes to take our order. Another 30 minutes until they served our food. I ordered the suckling pig, €19.50 for a tiny piece. They must have thought I wasn't very hungry, because the guy at the next table ordered the same thing and got a normal-sized plate. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye steak, €21. Whether it was actually beef would have to be checked; it certainly didn't seem like it, and it was very tough. They cleared our plates but couldn't even take our dessert order. Another 20 minutes before we finally managed to order. Anyway, I don't recommend it.

05/12/2025: The food was excellent and delicious, the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. It was already closing time, but they still served us very quickly. I definitely recommend it.

05/12/2025: In my opinion, it's a charming place, especially the ceilings and the bathroom, which is outdoors. The hot chocolate, similar to Cola Cao, costs over €8... excessive for the quantity and flavor. I wouldn't return, not because of the price, but because of the quantity and taste.

11/12/2025: The hotel is well-located and easily accessible. Excellent value for money. The staff were very welcoming, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. I would kindly suggest to the chef that they remove the apple tart from the menu. The pastry was half-cooked and the apples were burnt, but they did offer a goodwill gesture at the checkout. Overall, a very positive experience. I recommend it for a short stay.
