16/01/2026: In reality, it's more of an all-you-can-eat cafeteria than a proper restaurant. The food is very simple, but decent, and above all, very affordable. Drinks are also reasonably priced. The main drawback is that you have to take a plate and serve yourself, with no table service, which reinforces the cafeteria concept more than the restaurant concept.

25/12/2025: We ordered our Christmas Eve menus and we weren't disappointed at all. It was a delight from the appetizer to the meal, and a big thank you for the little gifts you included! I highly recommend this restaurant as we have never been disappointed and the food is excellent.

05/04/2026: A feast for the eyes, a delight for the palate. We had a wonderful evening and if we return to Perpignan, we will definitely book this establishment again. Admittedly, the prices are high, but they reflect the quality and standard.

02/07/2026: We came to eat at Café de Catalogne and what a shame we didn't discover it sooner, otherwise we would have come back much more often! The food is excellent, prepared with superb local produce. Tuna tartare with apricots, veal tartare, Caesar salad… Every dish was a pure delight. The chef is truly talented and, to top it all off, the owner's welcome and service are absolutely superb!

04/02/2026: It's an extraordinary place, peaceful and very simple, but the decor is truly sensational, and I haven't even mentioned the welcome—the person there is incredibly friendly. In short, I highly recommend this place. I would gladly return.

16/07/2026: Having gone there last night as a family, we greatly appreciated the warm welcome from the team. The owner and the waitresses were very friendly. Special mention goes to the waitress who took care of our table of nine. From aperitifs to main courses and desserts, she ordered everything from memory without writing anything down, and there wasn't a single mistake. Incredible! Bravo to this lovely young woman. She truly deserves it, as it's rare to find such a great experience.

16/06/2026: The quality of the dishes doesn't live up to the exceptional location, the attentive, professional service, and the high prices. The fish is fresh, but the preparation is nothing special (a thin slice of tuna can only be cooked dry – no sauce can help with that).

03/06/2026: A perfect lunch with the set menu: anchovies and arroz. Overlooking the port, the elevated terrace is very pleasant, as is the service. After a small amuse-bouche, the reimagined anchovies are a delightful discovery. Tender, well-seasoned, and accompanied by red peppers, as tradition dictates. The arroz, with its fresh fish and cockles, is generously portioned and perfectly cooked. The coffee is a nice touch, providing a pleasant, slightly sweet ending to the lunch. Excellent value for money.

22/06/2026: A really lovely place, with well-placed tables outside to enjoy a bit of fresh air during this heat. The service is simple and pleasant. The brunette lady who takes orders is very smiley and friendly. The two young waiters are efficient. The mixed salad—cheese, ham, olives, lentils, walnuts, etc.—served in a pretty salad bowl, is amazing. The price is more than reasonable. A place you absolutely must try. 16/07/2026: Thank goodness the cocktails were there. We came a few years ago and had very fond memories, but we won't be going back, especially since we asked to take away some leftovers, including a barely touched baked Camembert that wasn't in what we were given, and no one explained why! (Thanks for the surprise when we got home 😡) Simply dishonest. In short, avoid this place. We weren't the only disappointed people that evening, judging by what others were saying as we left. There are much better places nearby for less money.
