16/08/2026: Very good restaurant, very good food, beautiful decor

13/08/2026: Small neighborhood restaurant serving homemade, local cuisine. We come every year, and the owner is always welcoming and offers great advice. They're very welcoming to families with children. The dishes are delicious and generous, made with local ingredients (not the standard side dishes that are so common). The bill is more than reasonable. It's far from the tourist traps, even though it's just a few kilometers inland.

15/08/2026: We went there at the end of service, around 2:00-2:30 PM, looking for a place to eat quickly. They accepted us at that late hour, the food was served very quickly, and it was delicious. The staff was incredibly attentive. A great find!

07/09/2026: A table in the shade on a quiet street. An appealing menu featuring fresh ingredients. Damien, an exceptional waiter (only during Visa pour l'Image): humorous, kind, and efficient. Very nice interior decor.

14/09/2026: We came for the reopening, thinking it would be different... The staff were very pleasant but a bit overwhelmed, even though it wasn't very busy... They offer bread, but you have to go get it yourself before you've even finished your starter... The fish dishes weren't even lukewarm, even though we'd already waited over an hour. I can understand that, so we were eating almost cold food, but the worst part is they serve cod with aioli with the skin on top and the aioli on the skin?! I've never seen anything like it... Shouldn't the skin be on the bottom so the aioli on top can blend into the fish? And your homemade patatas bravas were well-cooked, practically burnt... We gave it a try... A few years ago, it was really good, but here, frankly, it's nothing special...

26/08/2026: A very nice restaurant with an indoor dining room, an upstairs dining room, and a pleasant covered terrace. Reservations are necessary in the summer, as we were warned. The menu is excellent, featuring meat, fish, and seafood dishes. There are also three very appealing set menus. The portions are generous, as are the presentation of the dishes. The servers are very friendly and offer excellent advice on both the food and the wines. I highly recommend it if you are passing through Port-Vendres.

09/08/2026: Nice location on a small square with a fountain, under the parasols. Friendly welcome even though we hadn't made a reservation. Water and ice are served as standard. The owner has a passion for the trade. There are also many locals. We have been twice already. Highly recommended.

09/08/2026: A pleasant little stop for a refreshing drink on the terrace on the road to Spain. There's a motorcycle parking area right in front. I didn't use the hotel's services.

26/07/2026: We only ate there, everything was fine. It's a place you pass through, but very touristy. We ate on the terrace; the rabbit is cooked very rare in France, but we prefer it more well-done. The hamburger was very crispy and tasty. A few beers and then off to enjoy it before heading up to the fort. Although it's not particularly spectacular, it does have some great views.

05/08/2026: We received a warm welcome at this restaurant despite our late arrival (11 pm). There was a lovely, cozy atmosphere on the terrace with string lights and a small lamp, right across from the beach. The food and service were excellent! 👌🏽 I highly recommend it.

05/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience; everything is top-notch, from the food (fresh, local produce) to the service, decor, and location. The manager is attentive and takes excellent care of his customers. A restaurant that stands out from the competition, which is quite extensive in Canet-en-Roussillon.

03/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise during a stop on our loop from La Manère. The chapel is beautiful, with its unique (and rare in France) Camaril. The welcome was also fantastic; we had a delicious meal for a very reasonable price! If you wish, you can stay at the refuge and lend a hand to the warden who single-handedly maintains this lovely building. If you are in a large group, it's best to call ahead to reserve.

05/07/2026: La Mirabelle is much more than a restaurant; it's a rare experience. A former head saucier at Ducasse, Chef Olga is a true magician of flavors. At her restaurant, routine doesn't exist: you never eat the same thing twice, and each dish is an original, sublime creation, executed with absolute technical precision. Everything is meticulously planned. In the dining room, Richard is the perfect host. Attentive and passionate, he knows how to describe Olga's cuisine with an accuracy that perfectly conveys all the chef's genius and inventiveness. An exceptional duo for a simply unforgettable experience. Go there, but remember to book.

02/09/2026: Attention!!! TERRIBLE FOOD POISING AFTER THE MARGARITA PIZZA staff is rude, first did not want to let us seat at the table for 4 since it was only 2 of us BUT THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY. waiter was rushing us to order , when we asked for a burger with no onion we got rejected which is ridiculous. and i got the pizza which was a huge mistake cuz i had horrible food poising . kitchen looked unclean and smelled like burned badly . the only reason people going there cuz it’s the only place to get food at the mountain. not coming back
