03/09/2025: Super nice setting. Shout-out to the waitress, Elsa, who made our time wonderful. The manager, Lorenzo, took the time to chat with us and enhanced our experience with his kindness and sociability. The food was in keeping with the price. Very chilled and friendly decor. Thanks to the team who made this evening a memorable one. We recommend it. For 3, €100 is very reasonable for a seaside restaurant, and the quality and cleanliness are beyond reproach. Thanks to them.

16/09/2025: Everything is perfect: the welcome, the service, the food, the atmosphere, and the owner is the chef who visits the dining room with the guests. Breathtaking views of Cerbère Bay. Unforgettable moments are created here. PS. Remember to make a reservation.

07/12/2025: The set menu was a delight. We had Saint-Jacques gratin with aioli. The Poulet à la Catalane and the Cannelloni à la Viande were also fantastic. The menu is reasonably priced, and the quality and service are excellent. It's a superb choice.

05/12/2025: A wonderful discovery! La Costabonne restaurant offers authentic and generous Catalan cuisine, prepared with care. The boles de picolât were excellent: melt-in-your-mouth tender, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. A simple, genuine place where you eat very well and feel right at home. I highly recommend it for those who want to enjoy delicious Catalan dishes in a pleasant setting!

14/01/2026: After several years of eating at this pizzeria every summer, at least twice a week during our three-week vacation, we had exceptional memories of it. The pizzas were magnificent and delicious, to the point that I recommended them without hesitation. Three years later, in December, I returned with my partner, raving about this pizzeria that I considered exceptional. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I have the feeling that there has been a change of ownership. The pizza served was small, with a crust that was certainly pre-cooked—we were seated above the kitchen and could clearly see the preparation. As for the toppings, they were woefully inadequate: about 3 cm all around with no topping whatsoever, and the center very sparsely filled. When I tasted it, it was simply one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten, especially at €17 a pizza, which made the disappointment even greater. Just look at old photos of the pizzas available online to see the incredible difference compared to what's served today. We ended up stopping our meal, without dessert or coffee, we were so disgusted. When it came time to pay, we were asked if everything was alright. I honestly said no, clearly explaining the quality issues. The response was a simple "I'll tell you," without any real interest or apology. We clearly felt that, given the number of tourists in the summer, our opinion didn't matter. The only positive point was the friendly welcome.

06/12/2025: After some research, we discovered the restaurant has been in liquidation since October 15, 2025 (judgment published on October 24). We received a gift voucher and have been unable to make a reservation for a month now; the website and email are no longer available.

08/09/2024: l'endroit parfait pour bien démarrer la soirée cocktails a 10 € plancha a partager et je conseille les chipirons au parmesan pour en avoir testé plusieurs sur le front de mer, l'Exotik se détache, service sympa et efficace (serveurs et serveuses triés sur le volet?), tapas corrects et cocktails bien.

28/08/2024: Par manque de place, on nous place dans la salle à l'étage. On était plutôt ravis car nous étions 8! A partir de là, tout se corse. Un service lent pour la prise de commande, ensuite, une attente interminable pour être servis ( des tapas), des plats manquants qui sont arrivés à la fin. On a demandé de l'eau en plus de nos boissons. Elle n'est jamais arrivée. Je déconseille de prendre les ribs, sauf si vous ne mangez que du gras! Les tapas, bof et chers. Au final, ils se sont excusés et ont fait un petit geste commercial sur l'addition, pourtant salée. Pour cela, je mets une étoile en plus, sans quoi... Peut être une exception au service habituel ! En attendant, on est passé au kebab pour se remplir l'estomac 😉

29/12/2025: A lively evening (it was impossible to talk, but that's not the point) The place and staff were very friendly. However, the food was served on a small table and really not good, especially considering it was only tapas, for €35 for the set menu. Having been there with a group for a festive evening, my memories of the food were much better.

05/09/2024: I would have liked to tell you that it was super good like all the other comments and as it was recommended to me but it is extremely unfortunate that it was closed (no word on the grid) at the beginning of September (off season) for vacationers who are still there! 😭sad I would have liked to taste a good ice cream!

29/08/2024: Everything is very good at reasonable prices compared to other addresses. Homemade! Kind and friendly staff we were there all week of the holidays!

29/11/2025: What a shame! We go there occasionally. We wanted to spend New Year's Eve there, but the room rates have tripled, and the menu and drinks are outrageously expensive, bordering on indecent. However, the staff and the quality of the rooms are impeccable. I don't understand these abusive business practices!

14/11/2025: Charming little hotel just outside Banyuls sur Mer with beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Les Elmes is a wonderful place to settle and to hike from. Fantastic trails, beautiful weather and most of all, the staff is incredibly welcoming and accomodating. Finally, the gastro restaurant is amazing.

23/11/2024: We ate at this restaurant. The dishes are very generous and very good, but we will not return there because unfortunately we found it too expensive, compared to other equally good Thai restaurants that we used to go to. Damage !! Perhaps we should put a little less on the plates and charge more reasonable prices so that we want to eat there more often.

13/09/2024: Habituellement la table de Valmy est un restaurant que nous apprécions, mais cette fois-ci nous avons vraiment été très déçus!!! La bonne météo n’étant pas au rendez-vous à cause du vent et du froid, la terrasse a été fermée. Du coup, nous devions dîner à l’intérieur du restaurant. A notre arrivée, nous avons reçu un très bon accueil du personnel et nous avons été invités à suivre un serveur pour nous installer à notre table suite à notre réservation. Nous découvrons cette très jolie salle intérieure chaleureuse à la décoration soignée, sophistiquée qui nous donne le sourire et qui nous présage une belle soirée en perspective en famille. Et à ce moment là c’est le DRAME !!!!! Alors que nous traversons toute cette grande pièce, nous arrivons dans une arrière salle, après la cuisine, on nous découvrons 2/3 table avec un mobilier de jardin coloré métallique, qui donnait vraiment la sensation de se retrouver à la cantine de Valmy et non à la Table de Valmy. Dans une pièce froide, blanche, aucune déco, nous étions seulement deux tables occupés et nous avons vraiment eu cette sensation de déclassement comme si nous étions des clients de seconde zone mais au même tarif de la 1ère classe bien sûr. Concernant la qualité du repas et du service rien à redire à ce sujet c’était bon et le personnel était agréable et serviable. Même s’il peut être compréhensible qu’il n’y avait pas assez de table en salle intérieure prévue pour accueillir tous le monde, il aurait été judicieux de nous contacter afin de nous proposer une nouvelle réservation à une autre date si cela ne nous convenait pas. Aucun personnel ne sait excuser pour ce désagrément et aucun geste n’a été effectué pour palier à celui-ci en offrant par exemple un apéritif ou autre peu importe. Lorsque nous venons dîner à la table de Valmy, c’est pour se trouvait autour d’un bon repas dans un jolie cadre et là ça n’as vraiment pas été le cas !!!!! Du coup, nous n’avons vraiment pas apprécié cette soirée et c’est vraiment dommage.

04/11/2025: Calamari was so-so. Swordfish was too dry. Mussels were small. Suitable for undemanding tourists. Service was good and friendly.

03/10/2025: TOURIST TRAP - EVERYTHING FROZEN Nothing was wrong except the service (simple and efficient, quickly refilling). A table of four, all disappointed with the dishes, from starter to dessert. We should have guessed it from the menu (pizza, seafood, meat, fish, pasta... soon to be wok-fried?) Affordable price but very expensive for frozen food.
