16/08/2026: The service was a bit slow, but more importantly, Mr. Chef, the balsamic vinegar garnish on every dish is ridiculous. It's fine on salads and raw vegetables, but not on chicken in cream sauce!

The food was excellent: high-quality and generous portions. The setting is also very pleasant, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A fantastic discovery that I highly recommend! 13/09/2026: Lunch with two friends from the workshop. A very pleasant surprise, it was mussels and fries day, delicious! But for dessert, I had a crêpe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a mirabelle plum fricassee, accompanied by a glass of cider (very good). Great! I'll be back.

03/10/2026: A very nice bar if you want to relax and have a drink. The waitresses are very welcoming and friendly. The prices are high, admittedly, but in line with those of other cafes in Vincennes.

24/09/2026: Dishes not served as ordered, a glass of wine was served after the main course, and bread scraps were reused between customers. Bread arrived with tomato sauce for the main course, but we didn't eat it, so it was taken back to the kitchen, and we were served the used bread again for dessert. Furthermore, the "soft" or "melting" cake was inedible, truly awful. Excessive prices for such mediocre quality. It's a real shame because you expect a good meal in such a setting, but in the end, it was very disappointing. We were a group of three, and no one finished their meal. And the owner amused himself by doing odd jobs or gluing tables that were stuck to us while we were eating. I strongly advise against going there.

However, the welcome and service were lukewarm and not up to the standard of the establishment and the prices on the menu (€4.40 for a coffee!). In conclusion, we were satisfied with the meal, but the service didn't make us want to return.

26/09/2026: La Salamandre was my favorite restaurant in Nogent for a long time. Tonight, it was a complete disaster: the amuse-bouche was incredibly dry (so I didn't eat it), the "perfect egg" was far too salty with too much charcuterie, and the main course was a total catastrophe: supposedly inedible, a pork belly cooked for 24 hours. The result: a dish that was nothing but fat and tasted like bad ketchup. No side dish. Shameful. Avoid it at all costs... keep walking, especially with a bill of 175 euros... there are better options elsewhere!

16/09/2026: Two and a half hours of service… patience is clearly included in the menu! At €69, one expects slightly more generous portions, especially for the main course. Here, it's more the concept of "gastronomic minimalism." Special mention goes to the petit four, served in a spoon in the middle of a large, empty plate: plenty of space, very little dessert. As for the waiter, instead of listening to our comments, he judged us, telling us we "weren't used to reading Michelin guides." A condescending and frankly inappropriate attitude. In short, a generous bill for decidedly less generous portions. We do not recommend it.
