06/08/2026: A wonderful discovery: the Royal Pompadour restaurant, with its fresh, local produce, family atmosphere, and highly recommended establishment. The added bonus is the free parking for customers. I will definitely return.

15/09/2026: Excellent brasserie! The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell everything is homemade. It's a real treat every time. The chocolate mousse with fleur de sel candied almonds was superb. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Quick service at lunchtime. A fantastic place to recommend without hesitation.

13/09/2026: Ordered one freshly squeezed lemon. There were three of us who ordered freshly squeezed lemon juice, and we only received a third of a lemon with fresh water. We paid €5.50 each, which is outrageous.

Mr. Clerence, his children, and all the staff are very attentive, kind, and meet all our expectations. The buffet was excellent, featuring high-quality products. The table service was lovely, and the portions were more than generous. Thank you again for making this special day so wonderful for our children.

30/08/2026: A truly wonderful gastronomic experience in Chennevières-sur-Marne. Housed in a historic former coaching inn, the restaurant immediately charms with its idyllic setting, particularly the terrace overlooking the Marne River, which offers a tranquil and tranquil atmosphere. On the plate, traditional French cuisine is carefully prepared, refined, and beautifully presented. The menu impresses with both the precision of the cooking and the freshness of the ingredients. The highlight is undoubtedly the wine list: impressive, featuring a wealth of prestigious estates and magnificent, well-chosen vintage wines. Prices are on the higher end for the area, but the riverside location, the elegant setting, and the quality of the wine cellar more than justify the experience for a delightful lunch or an exceptional dinner. Highly recommended.

23/08/2026: A very pleasant experience. The starters (vitello tonnato and foie gras confit), as well as the catch of the day and risotto, were exquisitely prepared and presented. The service was impeccable, including from the apprentices – and the owners are very attentive. Reserve a table on the terrace overlooking the Marne if the weather is nice; it adds to the charm of this former 16th-century coaching inn. We will be back.

29/09/2026: Very good. Be careful of the emergency exit, which is locked with a chain and padlock. Excellent meat.

20/09/2026: The burger was burnt, I asked for a replacement, but they told me I'd eaten more than half of it (I'd eaten at the steak). So the owner told me that, in his opinion, the bun wasn't burnt, the Princeton cheese was really dark, so they offered me a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was sickening, I didn't finish it. And then in the Dame Blanche (a dessert made with chocolate mousse), there's 90% whipped cream, 7% ice cream, and 3% chocolate. In short, not very good, I was still hungry.

18/06/2026: A wonderful discovery in Fontenay-sous-Bois! We had a fantastic time at Les Clanchistes. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and it made us want to come back. The dishes were sophisticated, delicious, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. You can tell there's real care put into both the food and the customer experience. A place I highly recommend!

22/09/2026: Risky exploration of the menu: - Squid risotto: a lot of rice for maybe 50 grams of squid and chunks of chorizo ​​that set the palate on fire. Is it good? Hold the 🔥 - Ravioli from Romans: probably a portion of ravioli drowned in an avalanche of vegetables and beans swimming in lukewarm liquid, and the taste buds are still wondering where this improbable invention came from? No miracle with two glasses of wine, obviously. Cost of ingredients/price: 1/61. Quality/price: 1/61 euros. Friendly welcome, but that wasn't the purpose of the visit. Not sure the person in charge of the kitchen is responsible; "no one is obligated to do the impossible."

20/09/2026: I usually go to this restaurant, but generally in the evening and on weekdays. I went there yesterday at lunchtime (a Saturday), and while the food was still excellent, the extremely slow service ruined the experience. I won't be going back. A simple apology or a small gesture would have made the experience less unpleasant.

17/09/2026: The atmosphere on the terrace was pleasant. The salmon starter was very good and the dessert was a success. However, the hanger steak was a bit small, and the béarnaise sauce was really disappointing: it lacked flavor and seemed poorly prepared.

07/09/2026: Three years ago, I would have given it 5 stars... but the attention to detail, the food, and especially the service have declined somewhat, more or less depending on the day. While the cuisine is that of a classic Parisian brasserie and quite pleasant, avoid the veal Milanese—the worst I've ever had. Otherwise, especially in good weather, the location is fantastic, rather quiet, and the wine cellar is excellent.

11/09/2026: This restaurant was taken over 3 or 4 months ago and it's clearly become the best restaurant in the neighborhood. The food is fresh, homemade, and the menu changes regularly. Excellent value for money and top-notch service. I highly recommend it!
